A relay is disclosed that includes a first opening and closing part including an openable and closable first gap; a second opening and closing part including an openable and closable second gap, the second opening and closing part being placed side by side with the first opening and closing part so that the first gap and the second gap are arranged side by side; a magnetization driving part configured to cause the first opening and closing part and the second opening and closing part to simultaneously operate; and a permanent magnet configured to apply a magnetic field on the first gap of the first opening and closing part and the second gap of the second opening and closing part in the same direction.

Relay

An electromagnetic relay includes a coil, an armature that is electromagnetically attracted by the coil when current flows through the coil, two fixed contacts, a movable spring disposed to be movable to the fixed contacts, a conductive plate that is connected to the movable spring and including two movable contacts. The movable contacts are brought in contact with the fixed contacts respectively via the movable spring by the armature attracted by the coil. When the fixed contacts and the movable contacts are in contact, the fixed contacts are electrically connected to each other via the conductive plate. The movable spring is made of an insulating material.

Electromagnetic relay

A relay having a first opening and closing part including an openable and closable first gap; a second opening and closing part including an openable and closable second gap, the second opening and closing part being placed side by side with the first opening and closing part so that the first gap and the second gap are arranged side by side; a magnetization driving part to cause the first opening and closing part and the second opening and closing part to simultaneously operate; and a permanent magnet to apply a magnetic field on the first and second gaps in the same direction.

A micro-relay includes a first substrate having stationary contacts and a stationary electrode, a second substrate arranged so as to face the first substrate, and a movable plate arranged between the first and second substrates. The movable plate has a frame and a movable portion. The frame is sandwiched between the first and second substrates to realize a hermetical sealed structure. The movable portion has a movable electrode facing the stationary electrode, and a movable contact faces the stationary contacts. The movable portion moves between the first and second substrates due to electrostatic attraction that develops between the movable electrode and the stationary electrode.

Micro-relay and method of fabricating the same

An electromagnetic relay including a base, an electromagnet fitted to the base, and a contact section operable to open or close with an operation of the electromagnet. The base includes a retaining face firstly contacting with the yoke of the electromagnet, in an action of fitting the electromagnet to the base, and retaining the electromagnet at a predetermined height on the base as seen in a direction of the coil center axis of the electromagnet. The base also includes a guide face slidably engaged with the yoke, by shifting the yoke along the retaining face, and guiding the electromagnet in a fitting direction intersecting with the coil center axis. The retaining face and the guide face cooperate with each other to fixedly support the electromagnet at a predetermined fitting position on the base.

A switch operable under a predetermined condition includes a plurality of switch parts each including a pair of reed pieces and a connecting member of an electrically conductive non-magnetic material via which the plurality of switch parts are serially connected. The switch operates only under a condition where all of the plurality of switch parts are operated by external magnetic fields individually and simultaneously acting on the plurality of switch parts.

A micro relay is provided including a movable contact, a stationary contact, and a ground contact opposed to the movable contact. In an operating state, the movable contact touches the ground contact when the movable contact separates from the stationary contact. In a non-operating state, the movable contact remains separated from the ground contact so that the movable contact does not stick to the ground contact. Since no parasitic capacitance is formed between the stationary contact and the movable contact, the isolation property of the micro relay is improved.

A high-frequency relay comprises a body containing a contact unit having at least one contact terminal protruding from a bottom surface of the body, contact states switched according to energization of a coil and a base covering at least a bottom surface of the body. The contact unit is connected with at least one contact terminal. The base has a grounding function and includes a conductive layer.

A complex electromagnetic relay including a plurality of relay structures configured respectively as relays independent of each other, each relay structure including an electromagnet assembly and a contact section acting to open or close in accordance with an operation of the electromagnet assembly; and a housing accommodating the relay structures in a mutually inverted orientation with contact sections of the relay structures being located alternately at opposing sides. The electromagnet assemblies in the relay structures are provided individually with bobbins supporting coils. The housing includes an enclosing wall enclosing the relay structures in an envelope-like manner and a partition wall arranged between the relay structures disposed side-by-side to separate the relay structures from each other. The bobbins of the electromagnet assemblies are fixedly attached to the enclosing wall as well as to the partition wall.

Complex electromagnetic relay

A balanced-armature type polar relay ( ) capable of assuring, by its own structure, sufficient insulation distances, meeting the requirements of IEC60950, when mounted on an electric communication line connecting equipment, wherein a maximum distance between one movable contact and one fixed contact capable of being brought into contact with each other during the travel of an armature is set at 1 mm or more, and at least one of the abutting surfaces of the armature and the core polar surfaces of the electromagnet opposed to the abutting surfaces is formed as an inclined surface to reduce an angle of opposed surfaces at the time of mutual abutment to as little as possible, whereby the armature passes, during the travel thereof, a position where each of the pair of abutting surfaces faces the pair of corresponding core polar surfaces in parallel with each other.

Polar relay

A contact spring assembly for an electromagnetic relay has an armature, a plurality of movable contact springs, and a plurality of transfer contact spring sets and a plurality of make contact spring sets. The armature is centrally placed in the contact spring assembly. Each of the movable contact springs is formed integrally with a corresponding hinge spring, and the movable contact springs are disposed on both sides of the armature in such a manner as to extend in parallel along a longitudinal direction of the armature. The transfer contact spring sets and make contact spring sets are constructed from the movable contact springs. This construction allows the contact spring assembly to be assembled on an electromagnetic relay simply and with high accuracy, and permits reductions in the size and power consumption of the electromagnetic relay.

A relay includes a base block (A'), an armature block (B') having a pair of armatures (8a, 8b) and a permanent magnet (17a, 17b), and an electromagnet block (C') having an approximately U-shaped core (10). Magnetic pole legs (18a, 18b) of the electromagnet block are inserted through the armatures into the base block, to thereby sandwich the armature block between the base block and the electromagnet block.
