A control device transmits an opening degree command amount to an actuator to command an opening degree of a sealing valve. The control device sets a pressure difference between a tank-side pressure and a canister-side pressure to a specified value or more. The control device causes a pressure variable device to change the canister-side pressure to form a state in which the pressure difference becomes equal to or higher than a specified value while the sealing valve is closed. The control device learns a valve opening start amount based on the opening degree command amount when the tank-side pressure changes in response to the opening degree command amount that gradually increases from zero. The control device determines the opening degree command amount based on the valve opening start amount, which has been learned.

Evaporative fuel processing device

A valve unit is moveably accommodated in a valve housing having a valve seat. A coil spring is provided at an outer periphery of the valve unit to bias the valve unit in an axial direction of absorbing a backlash between a driving-side screw portion of a driving portion and a valve-side screw portion of the valve unit. Pressure losses of fluid at respective portions are so made to satisfy a relationship of 'P&#x2265;P&#x2265;P', wherein 'P' is a pressure loss of the fluid passing through an outlet port, &#x201c;P&#x201d; is a pressure loss of the fluid passing through an axial space formed between the valve unit and the valve seat in a condition that the valve unit is most separated from the valve seat, and &#x201c;P&#x201d; is a pressure loss of the fluid passing through an axial gap formed between neighboring spring wire portions or passing through an axial gap formed between the coil spring and the valve seat.

Flow-rate control valve

A valve device includes a valve housing, a valve member, an engaging portion, a valve member side thread portion, a driving portion side thread portion, a driving portion, a first biasing member, a second biasing member, and a second biasing member support portion. The valve housing has a plurality of through holes through which a fluid flows, a valve seat formed around the first through holes of the plurality of through holes, and a valve chamber that communicates the plurality of through holes. In the valve device, the first through hole is formed on the movement axis of the valve member, and the second through hole is formed in a radially outward direction of the valve member. A distance between the second biasing member support portion and the valve seat is longer than a distance between the valve member and the valve seat.

Valve device

A controller controls a valve device for opening and closing of a passage to control a flow of evaporative fuel evaporating and flowing from a fuel tank. The valve device includes a valve body housed in the passage to open and close the passage, a biasing member biasing the valve body to close the passage, and a driver driving the valve body to open the fuel passage. The controller includes a detector detecting load of the driver and a determiner to determine the position of the valve body. The determiner determines that the passage is open when a magnitude of the change of the driver load is equal to or greater than a threshold value. The controller accurately detects an open valve position without detecting an internal pressure change of the fuel tank.

Valve control system configured to control an opening and closing of a valve device

A two-stage changeover valve is provided in a vaporized fuel passage connected between a fuel tank and a canister. A valve member is movably accommodated in a fluid passage formed in a valve housing. A valve seat is formed at an inner peripheral wall of the valve housing, so that the valve member is operatively seated on the valve seat. A restricted communication hole is formed in the valve member, so that an upstream side and a downstream side of the valve member are communicated with each other, even when the valve member is seated on the valve seat. The restricted communication hole is formed in a Laval-nozzle shape, so that vaporized fuel passing through the restricted communication hole is accelerated. As a result, a process for depressurizing inner pressure of the vaporized fuel in the fuel tank can be carried out in a shorter time.

Two-stage changeover valve

An annular valve seat is projected radially inward from a passage wall. A valve element is located on the upstream side of the valve seat. A spring biases the valve element toward the upstream side. The valve element has a through hole to pass fluid between the upstream side and the downstream side when the valve element is seated on the valve seat. The valve element switches between a large opening state, in which the valve element is lifted from the valve seat to pass fluid around an outer circumferential periphery of the valve element and to pass through the through hole, and a small opening state, in which the valve element is seated on the valve seat to pass fluid through the through hole. The valve element is supported and slidable on a guide surface, which is formed on the passage wall, at the outer circumferential periphery.

Two-stage switching valve

A valve device includes a valve seat forming member, a case, a first O-ring, and a second O-ring. The valve seat forming member is fit into a passage defining and forms a valve seat. The case houses an electromagnetic solenoid and is connected to the passage defining member. The first O-ring is interposed between an inner circumferential surface of the passage defining member and an outer circumferential surface of the valve seat forming member. The first O-ring prohibits the fluid from flowing through a space between the passage defining member and the valve seat forming member when the main valve body seats on the valve seat. The second O-ring is interposed between the case and the passage defining member. The second O-ring prohibits the fluid from flowing from the passage to an outside of the passage defining member.

Valve device having passage defining member holding restrictor body without connection portion

A two-stage electro-magnetic valve maintains a pressing force applied onto a switch valve body from a press member after a lifting of an open-close valve body from a valve seat by an introduction of a pressure of a valve chamber. In such manner, the switch valve body need not be put in a pressure receiving state when the switch valve body is completely closed. In other words, it is not necessary for a pressure receiving diameter of the switch valve body to be smaller than a pressure receiving diameter of the open-close valve body. Such configuration increases design freedom of the pressure receiving diameter for the open-close valve body because it separates the diameter of the valve body from a diameter restriction of the switching valve body, which allows both valve bodies to have the same diameter, which maximizes the effect of a pressure cancel mechanism.

Electro-magnetic valve

A valve device includes a first passage opened by a first valve member, a second passage opened by a second valve member, and a specific chamber in which an asymmetrical state is caused. When the second valve member is open, escape fluid flows through the specific chamber just before flowing into a second passage and collides a collision part located in the specific chamber. The escape fluid flowing in the specific chamber collides the collision part and is divided into two divided flows, and the two divided flows are joined again at downstream of the collision part. In the asymmetrical state, a difference is caused in a pressure loss between the two divided flows. By the asymmetrical state, a pressure loss as an entire of the specific chamber decreases, and frequency in using a valve mechanism can be reduced. Therefore, the valve mechanism can be used longer without omitting the specific chamber.

A first hole is connected through a first fluid chamber to an inflow hole. A first valve seat is formed around the first hole. A second fluid chamber is connected through a second hole to the first hole. An outflow hole is connected to the second fluid chamber. A second valve seat is formed around the second hole. A third valve seat is formed around the outflow hole. A first valve element is movable in the first fluid chamber to make contact with the first valve seat. A second valve element is movable in the second fluid chamber to make contact with the second valve seat or the third valve seat. A biasing member biases the second valve element toward the second valve seat. An outer peripheral passage is formed between an outer periphery of the second valve element and the second housing to enable flow therethrough.

Fluid control valve device

A valve apparatus includes a valve housing, an electric valve, a positive pressure relief valve and a negative pressure relief valve. The valve housing defines therein a valve inside space divided by a partition plate into two spaces communicating with the first port portion and the second port portion respectively. The partition plate has an electric valve opening, a positive pressure relief opening and a negative pressure relief opening separately from each other. When the positive pressure relief valve opens the positive pressure relief opening, a fluid flows only from the first port portion to the second port portion. When the negative pressure relief valve opens the negative pressure relief opening, the fluid flows only from the second port portion to the first port portion.

Valve apparatus with positive and negative pressure relief valves

An electromagnetic valve includes a flow passage, a valve member, an actuator having a coil and a movable core, an intermediate member, a connecting member, a housing, and a dividing unit. The housing includes a hollow part between the housing and the actuator. The hollow part communicates with the flow passage. The dividing unit includes a through hole which passes through the dividing unit in its axial direction. The dividing unit divides the hollow part between a communicating chamber that is capable of communicating with the flow passage, and a cancel chamber that is cut off from an outside thereof. The intermediate member includes a communicating passage between the intermediate member and the movable core. The communicating passage communicates between the flow passage and the cancel chamber via the through hole and the communicating chamber.
