Provided is a flow passage structure that is employed in a fuel cell system and includes a hydrogen gas pipe, a hydrogen off-gas pipe, a supply pipe, a lead-out pipe, and a plurality of junctions. The lead-out pipe includes a first wall located between an inner wall and a central axis of the supply pipe, a second wall connected to the first wall and located between the first wall and the central axis, and a first region surrounded by the first wall and the second wall, and is configured such that a second region between the inner wall and the first wall and a third region on the side of the central axis from the second wall communicate with each other. At the junctions, the first region and a leading end part of the hydrogen gas pipe communicate with and connect to each other.

Flow passage structure of fuel cell system

A male coupling member detachably couplable to a female coupling member includes an outer coupling body having a first end inserted and fitted into the female coupling member, a second end opposite to the first end, and a passage extending from the first end to the second end. The male coupling member further includes an inner coupling body disposed coaxially with the outer coupling body at a position closer to the first end, and a filtration member detachably attached to the inner coupling body. The inner coupling body is attachable to and detachable from the outer coupling body from the first end. The filtration member is held in the passage when the inner coupling body is attached to the outer coupling body. The filtration member is detachable when the inner coupling body is detached from the outer coupling body.

Male coupling member

A coupling member is provided that includes a filtration member provided in a fluid passage in a coupling body to divide the fluid passage into an upstream pre-filtration passage section and a downstream post-filtration passage section. The filtration member includes a cylindrical part extending in the direction of a longitudinal axis and having a filtration portion. The cylindrical part divides a downstream portion of the pre-filtration passage section and an upstream portion of the post-filtration passage section from each other in the radial direction of the cylindrical part. Further, the fluid passage has a dust collecting part extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis from the downstream portion to a position closer to a downstream opening than the filtration portion of the filtration member. The dust collecting part is closed at a downstream end thereof.

Coupling member

A check valve is provided which comprises a casing having a fluid passage, a valve seat member disposed in the fluid passage, and a valve element housing with a valve element disposed therein. The valve seat member has a valve seat surface on an end surface facing downstream. The valve element housing is a discrete member separate from the valve seat member and detachably secured to a downstream end portion of the same. The valve element is displaceable between a closed position and an open position.

Check valve

In order to reduce a pressure loss in a check valve and simplify a manufacturing process, a check valve () configured to be disposed in piping of fluid is provided, which includes a valve housing () including a valve element () and a valve seat () therein, a casing () that is configured to place the valve housing therein, in which a casing flow path () is provided between the casing and the valve housing to make a flow of the fluid in an axial direction of the valve housing. In the valve housing, a communicating hole () and sealing portion () are formed. The communicating hole that is formed through the valve housing in a thickness direction thereof introduces the fluid, which flows through between the valve element and the valve seat at the open position of the check valve, into the casing flow path. The sealing portion that is provided on an outer surface of the valve housing upstream of the communicating hole in a flow direction of the fluid in the casing flow path, is configured to come into contact with an inner surface of the casing to seal the casing flow path and position the valve housing in a radial direction perpendicular to the axial direction relative to the casing.

Check valve and receptacle structure

A cap includes a main body attached to an end part of a charging port for fuel gas. The main body includes an elastic deformable portion for locking the main body to the end part when the main body is attached to the end part. The cap further includes a cover covering at least part of the elastic deformable portion and surrounding the main body. The elastic deformable portion at least partially elastically deforms when the main body is attached to the end part and when the main body is detached from the end part. The cover is a separate member from the main body. When the elastic deformable portion elastically deforms, the cover applies force to the elastic deformable portion in a direction opposite from the deforming direction.

Provided is a check valve element enabling efficient supply of fluid while suppressing the occurrence of chattering. The check valve element is provided to be displaceable upstream and downstream in a downstream flow path extending downstream from a valve seat having an opening for introducing a fluid and is pressed against the valve seat by a pre-closing urging force applied thereto toward an upstream side. The check valve element has an arresting portion provided on an outer peripheral surface thereof, a sliding resistance imparting member support portion supporting a sliding resistance imparting member such that the sliding resistance imparting member slides along the wall of the downstream flow path when the check valve element is displaced upstream and downstream, and an urging member support portion supporting an urging member urged upstream so that the urging member urges the sliding resistance imparting member upstream, thereby causing the sliding resistance imparting member to increase in outer diameter while being arrested by the arresting portion.

Check valve element and check valve using the same

A uniform and dense resin coat is formed on a surface of a peripheral region of a fuel cell separator. However, the formed resin coat may contain defects (holes). With the present invention, however, any such defects in the resin coat are coated with a metal coat. That is, when depositing metal in complex ions on the fuel cell separator by an electrodeposition process, the metal is adhered not only to a power generation region but also to a portion where the surface (separator base material surface) is exposed by the defects of the resin coat, thereby forming the metal coat on the defects. Thus, it is possible to improve the corrosion resistance of the fuel cell separator as compared to the case that the surface of the separator base material is exposed at the portions of the defects of the resin coat.

Fuel cell separator manufacturing method and fuel cell separator

An ECU executes a program including causing a brake to enter an engaged state, when a first gear is implemented and when a difference between an output shaft rotation speed estimated from an input shaft rotation speed and a detected output shaft rotation speed is greater than a threshold value. When the brake enters the engaged state, the relative rotation between the inner race and the outer race of a one-way clutch is limited.

Control apparatus for automatic transmission

Three external tooth wet friction materials are each composed of an external tooth plate and a lining adhered to one surface thereof along an entire circumference. Three internal tooth wet friction materials are each composed of an internal tooth plate and a lining adhered to one surface thereof along an entire circumference. Then, the three external tooth wet friction materials and the three internal tooth wet friction materials are disposed side by side so as to constitute a multi-plate frictional engagement apparatus. A thickness of the internal tooth plate is made thinner in view of its good heat discharge capability, and the thickness of the external tooth plate is made thicker by that much.

Multi-plate frictional engagement apparatus

A support structure for supporting a brake, as a frictional coupling device, includes a snap ring, a friction plate, and a back plate. The snap ring fits in a groove that extends in a circle. The back plate is disposed between the friction plate and the snap ring. The back plate is pressed against the snap ring. The snap ring has a first end face that faces the back plate and a second end face that faces the opposite side from the first end face and is in contact with a sidewall of the groove. The back plate has an end face that is in contact with the first end face. The static friction coefficient between the first end face of the snap ring and the end face of the back plate is smaller than that between the second end face of the snap ring and the sidewall of the groove.

Frictional coupling device support structure and transmission

A clutch device for an automatic transmission includes a clutch drum, first and second frictional coupling elements, both supported by the clutch drum, a first piston axially movably disposed radially outwardly of the clutch drum and operating to couple the first frictional coupling elements, and a second piston axially movably disposed radially inwardly of the clutch drum and operating to couple the second frictional coupling elements. The clutch drum includes an inner drum portion welded on a rotary shaft, and an outer drum portion welded on the inner drum portion and supporting the first and second frictional coupling elements. The first piston is axially slidable relative to the inner drum portion. The second piston is axially slidable relative to the rotary shaft. And, a welded portion of the rotary shaft and the inner drum portion, and a welded portion of the inner drum portion and the outer drum portion, are radially spaced in a predetermined distance and concentric with each other.

Clutch device for automatic speed changer

A clutch device for an automatic transmission, including a clutch drum supporting frictional coupling elements, a clutch piston disposed radially outwardly of the clutch drum, and a rotary speed sensor disposed radially outwardly of the clutch piston to detect a rotating speed of the clutch piston. The clutch piston has an inner spline for engagement with an outer spline of the clutch drum to prevent relative rotation between the clutch piston and the clutch drum, and further has a plurality of recesses formed in an outer circumferential surface thereof and corresponding to respective teeth of the inner spline, and a plurality of oil holes formed therethrough at an axial position of the clutch device at which the rotary speed sensor is located. The recesses and the oil holes are equally spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction of the clutch piston.

Clutch device for automatic transmission

A vehicular automatic transmission including a first planetary gear device and a first set of frictional coupling elements, which can be supported by a pump housing via first and second retainer rings, at predetermined axial positions within the pump housing, during assembling of the automatic transmission. The first retainer ring is fixed to a radially inner spline-fitting part of a cylindrical extending portion of the pump housing, while the second retainer ring is fitted in a first circumferential groove formed in a ring gear of the first planetary gear device and a second circumferential groove formed in the inner circumferential surface of a splined cylindrical portion of a first hub splined to the outer circumferential surface of the ring gear and the radially inner portions of the first set of frictional coupling elements. The automatic transmission is manufactured by assembling a subassembly with respect to a stationary cylindrical housing to which the pump housing is fixed. The subassembly includes the pump housing provided with an oil pump, first planetary gear device and first set of frictional coupling elements.

Vehicular automatic transmission

A piston for an automatic transmission including a pair of mutually meshing gears such as counter drive and driven gears mounted on respective two parallel shafts, the piston including a bottom portion, and a cylindrical portion to be disposed radially outwardly of one of the mutually meshing gears, wherein the cylindrical portion has not only a cutout formed in a first circumferential part thereof for permitting mutual meshing engagement of the mutually meshing gears such that a point of the mutual meshing engagement is located within a circumference of the cylindrical portion, but also a through-hole formed in a second circumferential part thereof so that a speed sensor extends through the through-hole, for detecting the rotating speed of the above-indicated one gear disposed radially inwardly of the cylindrical portion. This arrangement of the cylindrical portion permits size reduction of the cutout, and assures sufficiently high degrees of strength and rigidity of the piston.
