A blade attachment tool includes a first support member supported by a pressing support portion supporting a blade formed of an elastic member configured to wipe/scrape liquid/solids spreading on an abutment surface by being pressed against the abutment surface and being long in one direction such that the blade is pressed against the abutment surface with a predetermined pressing force, a second support member supported to swing about a swing shaft extending in a longitudinal direction of the blade with respect to the first support member and configured such that a base end side of the blade is attached thereto, and an energizing member configured to apply a reaction force to a friction force that causes the second support member to swing about the swing shaft with respect to the first support member when the blade is pressed against the abutment surface to slide relatively to the abutment surface.

Blade attachment tool and blade support structure

A pair of insertion portions each having a through hole through which a lashing belt is inserted and extends are arranged at a predetermined distance from each other, and coupled to each other with coupling portions. A tension detecting portion is provided at the coupling portions. The tension detecting portion extends, at a predetermined vertical distance from a line connecting the through holes of the pair of insertion portions to each other, in a width direction of the lashing belt. In a state where the lashing belt is inserted to extend through the pair of insertion portions, a surface of the lashing belt is brought into contact with the tension detecting portion, and the tension detecting portion is configured to be broken when a predetermined or greater tension is applied to the lashing belt.

A more accurate tension of a belt or a more accurate target natural frequency of the belt when the belt tension is adjusted is determined. A method for calculating a belt tension includes receiving a natural frequency of a belt and a span; performing calculation for determining a tension of the belt using a predetermined expression, based on the natural frequency, the span, and a unit mass of the belt read from a memory; and displaying the tension on a display, wherein in a case where the span is within a predetermined range corresponding to the belt, the predetermined expression is corrected so that an error caused by a bending stiffness of the belt is reduced.

A method of manufacturing a power transmission belt includes: molding and vulcanizing an endless tension member layer in which a cord extending in a belt length direction is embedded; molding and vulcanizing a rubber member for a compressed rubber layer; and bonding together the tension member layer that has been vulcanized and the rubber member, that has been vulcanized, for the compressed rubber layer.

Transmission belt manufacturing method and transmission belt

Provided is a clamping-type tensile force measurement device configured to clamp a belt being used to lash a cargo and to measure a tensile force of the belt. The measurement device includes: a base having a pair of support rollers which are rotatable; and a lid connected to the base via a hinge portion such that the base and the lid form a foldable structure. A load cell is installed in a backside portion of the lid. A pressing plate having a pressing portion positioned to face a space between the pair of support rollers is provided on a backside of the lid.

A natural-frequency measurement device for measuring the natural frequency of a belt includes: an acceleration sensor attached to a portion of the belt between an adjacent pair of pulleys to sense acceleration resulting from the vibration of the belt; and a measuring instrument configured to measure the natural frequency of the belt based on the acceleration sensed by the acceleration sensor.

Natural-frequency measurement device

In a drive belt system, an idler pulleyis formed by an auto belt alignment pulley. For example, a pulley bodyis rotatably carried on a hollow cylindrical shaft member, a support rodis inserted in the shaft member, and the pulley bodyand the shaft memberare connected to each other via a pin(pivot axis C) for angular movement about the pin. The pinis inclined orthogonally to the shaft memberand forward in the direction of rotation of the pulley bodywith respect to the direction of a radial shaft load L. With this configuration, when a flat beltdeviates to one side, the pulley bodyinclines to create a level difference in the direction of the radial shaft load L and angularly moves orthogonally to the flat belt, thereby correcting the deviation of the flat belt. To fulfill the auto belt alignment function, belt span lengths Si and So between the idler pulleyand both the adjacent pulleysandare each set larger than the width of the flat belt

Belt drive system

A hollow cylindrical pulley bodyis carried rotatably by a hollow cylindrical shaft member. A support rodis inserted in the shaft memberto support the shaft memberfor rocking motion about a pivot axis Corthogonal to the shaft member. The pivot axis Cis inclined backward in the direction of belt travel with respect to the direction of load on the shaft member. With this configuration, when the drive beltdeviates to one side, the pulley bodyis immediately angularly moved so that it is inclined with a level difference with respect to the direction of load on the shaft memberand is positioned obliquely relative to the drive belt, thereby producing a force of returning the drive beltto its normal position.

Drive belt pulley and belt drive system

A hollow cylindrical pulley bodyis carried rotatably by a hollow cylindrical shaft member. A support rodis inserted in the shaft member, and the shaft memberis elastically supported to the support rodthrough an elastic body. The elastic bodyis provided within a quarter of the periphery of the support rodthat is located, when viewed along the axis of the shaft member, forward of the line of action of a radial shaft load on the shaft memberwith respect to the direction of rotation of the pulley body. With this configuration, when the drive beltdeviates to one side, the pulley bodyis immediately angularly moved so that it is inclined with a level difference with respect to the direction of the radial shaft load and is positioned obliquely relative to the drive belt. In this manner, a force of compensating for the deviation of the drive beltis produced to avoid its wobbling.

A pulley bodyis provided at its both sides with power transmission members. When a flat beltbecomes misaligned relative to the center of the pulley bodyand comes into contact with one of the power transmission members, a running force of the flat beltis utilized to displace the pulley bodydiagonally relative to the flat belt, thus producing a force for returning the flat beltto its original state.

Pulley for power transmission belt and belt power transmission device

In a belt drive systemfor transmitting torque at a crankshaftof an automotive engineto a supercharger (engine accessory), an output pulley unitformed of a first flat pulleyand a second flat pulleyis coupled to the rotational shaftof the supercharger. A flat beltentrained between the output pulley unitand the crank pulleyof the crankshaftis shifted from the first flat pulleyto the second flat pulleyor vice versa by a speed ratio selector. The rotational shaftcan thereby be driven into rotation with the switching between a high speed ratio during acceleration and a low speed ratio during constant speed cruise. As a result, the superchargercan bring out its capability into full play without using parts involving increases in weight, cost and power consumption, such as a solenoid-operated clutch, and concurrently suppress the deterioration of fuel economy.

Automotive engine accessory drive system

A belt-type one-way clutch is arranged so that a case is assembled with a flat pulley so as to rotate around the central axis of the flat pulley, and that a flat belt is looped between a working surface of a rocking member supported for rocking motion by a shaft member held at both ends in shaft bores of the case and a working surface of the flat pulley, and that the rocking plate biased from a leaf spring presses one span of the flat belt to place an initial tension on the flat belt. Both the ends of the shaft member are held in the shaft bores of the case via respective bushes to suppress stress. Accordingly, larger torque can be transmitted despite use of aluminum alloy as material of the case.

One-way clutch

A pulley with a built-in one-way clutch, the type of which has sprags tilting in a direction to wedge between inner and outer rings while being guided on respective riding lands of a cage by pressing of respective leaf springs, is mounted on an alternator shaft of an alternator to which torque of a crank shaft of a vehicle engine rotating together with slight variations in angular velocity is transmitted through a power transmission belt. In the mounting, a tilting force acting on a contact point at which each sprag contacts the corresponding riding land to tilt the sprag in the wedging direction is set larger than a frictional force between the sprag and the riding land acting on the contact point. According to this setting, the sprag can be tilted in the wedging direction regardless of the frictional force between the sprag and the riding land, thereby eliminating a locking failure within the high engine speed range.

Non-stage transmission for vehicles and lawn mowing tractor using same

A flat belt 6 is wound around between an annular friction surface 2 at a periphery of a first rotatable member 1 and an arc-like friction surface 4 of a rocking portion 3 of a second rotatable member 5 which is relatively rotatably supported on the first rotatable member 2, and an initial tension is applied to the flat belt 6. With relative rotation movement between the rotatable members 1 and 5 in a locking or free direction, the rocking portion 3 is rocked around a rocking axis Q by the flat belt 6. By virtue of such rocking movement of the rocking portion 3, the tension of the flat belt 6 is increased up to a higher value than the initial tension or decreased down to a lower value than the initial tension. This permits connection or disconnection of the transmission of torque between the rotatable members 1 and 5 in dependence on the relative rotational direction of the rotatable members 1 and 5. The present invention provides a novel one-way clutch simple in structure, not calling for high precision components, less likely to fail to operate properly due to an excessive input torque, requiring only replacement of components even when failing to operate properly, capable of variation in maximum transmission torque, and low in cost.
