The present technology relates to a reception device, a data processing method, and a transmission/reception system capable of shortening time to output a packet. The reception device receives a transmission signal obtained by processing a multiplexed stream including a plurality of packets, analyzes transmission control information for controlling transmission of the transmission signal, decodes the transmission signal on the basis of an analysis result of the transmission control information, analyzes the multiplexed stream obtained by decoding the transmission signal and sets packet division information for dividing the packets from the multiplexed stream, the packet division information according to at least one of the analysis result of the transmission control information or an analysis result of the multiplexed stream, and divides the multiplexed stream into the packets on the basis of the set packet division information. The present technology is applicable to a receiver of digital broadcasting, for example.

Reception device, data processing method, and transmission/reception system

Communication reception that enables reception of a packet which may not contain an error without invalidating the same is disclosed. In one example, an information analyzing unit analyzes a data string and frame/slot information, and supplies TMCC information, slot header information, and data length information to a packet length indicating unit and a packet dividing unit. The packet length indicating unit defines the packet length in advance, and indicates the defined packet length to the packet dividing unit. The packet dividing unit performs packet division on the basis of the packet length obtained from the TMCC information, the slot header information, the data length information and the like from the information analyzing unit, and the packet length defined by the packet length indicating unit.

The present technology relates to a reception device, a receiving method, and a program capable of improving a reception state. A delay wave by multipath is estimated on the basis of sensor information detected by a sensor unit, a replica of the delay wave is generated by a sum of products of a coefficient for each delay wave and a signal of a reception wave according to delay time on the basis of the estimated delay wave by the multipath, and the generated replica of the delay wave is subtracted from the signal of the reception wave, thereby removing the delay wave from the signal of the reception wave. The present technology may be applied to a receiver which receives a broadcast wave.

The present technology relates to a reception apparatus, a reception method, and a program capable of improving performance in diversity. The reception apparatus includes a plurality of demodulation units configured to demodulate a supplied branch and generate a symbol and a synthesis unit configured to synthesize the symbol demodulated by the plurality of demodulation units, in which the synthesis unit sets a predetermined time from arrival time of a first-arriving symbol as a search range, and synthesizes a symbol that arrives within the search range and the first-arriving symbol. The present technology can be applied to a mobile terminal apparatus that receives television broadcasting or the like with diversity system.

The present technique relates to a reception device and a reception method which can improve equalization performance. An equalization processing unit has a time domain equalization unit which equalizes a received signal in a time domain and a frequency domain equalization unit which is provided in parallel to the time domain equalization unit and which equalizes the received signal in a frequency domain, and performs control of switching between the time domain equalization unit and the frequency domain equalization unit. The present technique can be applied to, for example, equalize a signal of data transmitted by way of single carrier transmission or data transmitted by way of multicarrier transmission.

Disclosed herein is a reception apparatus including: a reception section configured to receive a signal modulated by a predetermined system defined by a predetermined standard; a decoding section configured to decode transmission parameters included in the received signal; an acquisition section configured to acquire from among sequentially decoded transmission parameters the parameters used in a demodulation process performed on the received signal; and a control section configured such that if the acquired transmission parameters used in the demodulation process on the received signal are different from the sequentially decoded transmission parameters, then the control section controls the demodulation process on the received signal based on newly decoded transmission parameters.
