In a storage system including a plurality of battery units, the charge/discharge amounts of the battery units are determined by predetermined computation using the state of charge (SOC). The predetermined computation includes allocating a larger discharge amount to a battery unit higher in SOC, out of the battery units, in the discharge mode, and allocating a larger charge amount to a battery unit lower in SOC, out of the battery units, in the charge mode.

Charge/discharge control method for storage system and charge/discharge control device

The grid interconnection system is provided with a switching unit configured to switch a connection destination of an interconnection terminal of a first power conditioner and a load, between a power grid and a self-standing terminal of a second power conditioner, and a connection controller configured to execute, on the switching unit, first control for connecting the power grid to the interconnection terminal of the first power conditioner and the load in a non-power outage of the power grid, and second control for connecting the self-standing terminal of the second power conditioner to the interconnection terminal of the first power conditioner and the load in a power outage of the power grid.

In a power conditioner, a DC-DC converter outputs an output of a first power source for which reverse power flow is permitted to a DC supply line, and a bidirectional DC-DC converter discharges an output of a second power source for which reverse power flow is not permitted to the DC supply line and, on the other hand, charges power of the DC supply line to the second power source. A DC-AC inverter converts DC power of the DC supply line to AC power and outputs the converted power to outside. When a power consumption of a load exceeds a rated output of the DC-AC inverter and a power generation amount of the first power source exceeds the rated output of the DC-AC inverter, a portion of surplus power of the first power source is charged to the second power source.

Lighting system includes light source that includes at least one light-emitting device and emits first light (laser light); wavelength conversion member that converts part of the first light into second light having a different wavelength from that of the first light; an optical system (light guide member) where the first light enters and that applies the first light to wavelength conversion member; optical sensor that receives part of the second light as monitor light and outputs monitor signal corresponding to the intensity of monitor light; and output control circuit that controls light source and optical sensor. Output control circuit performs an optical system inspection of conditions of the optical system and wavelength conversion member and a light source inspection of a condition of light source in accordance with monitor signal, using a time division method.

Lighting system and method of controlling lighting system

A light source device according to an embodiment is used with a light guide member and a wavelength converting member, and includes a light-emitting element, a light sensor, and a driving unit. The light-emitting element radiates a light beam to be incident on a first end of the light guide member by being supplied with a drive current. The light sensor detects signal light, which has been incident on a second end of the light guide member and transmitted to the first end. The driving unit supplies the drive current to the light-emitting element and controls the drive current based on a result of detection of the signal light.

Lighting system includes light source that includes a plurality of light-emitting devices and emits first light; wavelength conversion member that converts part of the first light into second light; an optical system that applies the first light to wavelength conversion member; optical sensor that output monitor signal corresponding to the intensity of the second light; and output control circuit that controls light source and optical sensor. Output control circuit performs a light source inspection of a condition of light source and an optical system inspection of conditions of the optical system and wavelength conversion member in accordance with monitor signal. An illumination lighting apparatus is configured to light a plurality of light-emitting elements connected in series to each other. The illumination lighting apparatus includes one photosensor and a detector. The one photosensor is configured to detect light emitted from the plurality of light-emitting elements. The detector is configured to perform detection of a light emission defect on the plurality of light-emitting elements based on the light detected by the one photosensor. Moreover, the detector performs the detection process at an initial stage of lighting of the plurality of light-emitting elements.

Illumination lighting apparatus, illumination device, and illumination fixture

In a conventional power supply system, it was difficult to quickly activate a motor load or the like after performing switching to an isolated operation. A power conditioner of the present invention comprises: a DC-DC converter part for converting a direct-current power from a direct-current power source into a given voltage; an inverter part for converting a direct-current power from the DC-DC converter part into an alternating-current power; a switch disposed between an alternating-current power output end of the inverter part and a utility power source; and a control part for controlling an output current of the alternating-current power from the inverter part, wherein, in response to opening the switch to cause switching to the isolated operation, the control part is operable, when a given condition is not satisfied, to control the output current such that the output current does not exceed a first upper limit preliminarily determined based on a rated output current value of the power conditioner, and, when the given condition is satisfied, to control the output current such that the output current does not exceed a second upper limit greater than the first upper limit.

An illumination lighting apparatus is configured to light a plurality of light-emitting elements connected in series to each other. The illumination lighting apparatus includes one photosensor and a detector. The one photosensor is configured to detect light emitted from the plurality of light-emitting elements. The detector is configured to perform detection of a light emission defect on the plurality of light-emitting elements based on the light detected by the one photosensor. Moreover, the detector performs the detection process when a quantity of light detected by the one photosensor decreases. The detector includes two or more switches and a processor. The two or more switches are connected in parallel to the plurality of light-emitting elements. When the processor turns on the two or more switches sequentially one-by-one, and the quantity of light detected by the one photosensor does not change, the processor detects a light-emitting element having the light emission defect from the plurality of light-emitting elements.

A power supply system includes a power supply circuit and an output unit. The power supply circuit generates a pulsating voltage. The output unit is to be connected to a pair of electric wires to apply the pulsating voltage to the pair of electric wires. The power supply circuit generates the pulsating voltage such that the pulsating voltage has a full-wave rectified waveform obtained by full-wave rectifying an alternating voltage as a wave alternating between a positive voltage and a negative voltage.

A receiver circuit is configured to receive a transmission signal represented by a change in DC voltage applied across power supply lines according to transmission data. The receiver circuit is also configured to compare the DC voltage (sampled value(s) of a detection voltage) with a threshold, thereby detecting a change in the DC voltage. The receiver circuit is further configured to calculate the threshold from a voltage value of the DC voltage (the sampled value(s) of a detection voltage) input to a receiver input unit.

A sensor device according to an example of the embodiment is connected, on an input side rather than an illumination apparatus, to a main power source line of an illumination system to which a DC voltage is applied and to which the illumination apparatus is connected through a branch wire. The sensor device includes: a sensing unit that detects an object and outputs a detection signal; and a switch that is provided in the main power source line and connects or disconnects the main power source line by an on-off operation on the input side rather than the illumination apparatus. The switch is controlled to be turned on or off based on the detection signal of the sensing unit.

A signal transmitting device includes an input unit, an output unit, and a step-down circuit. The input unit is configured to receive an input voltage. The output unit is configured to output an output voltage. The step-down circuit is configured to controllably adjust the output voltage by stepping down the input voltage. The switch circuit includes a series circuit of first and second switches. A power supply includes an input for receiving a first DC voltage, an output for outputting a second DC voltage, a voltage conversion circuit configured to convert the first DC voltage into the second DC voltage, and a control circuit configured to control the voltage conversion circuit to vary a voltage value of the second DC voltage. The control circuit is configured to control the voltage conversion circuit so as to decrease the voltage value of the second DC voltage from a first voltage value to a second voltage value for a predetermined duration every time a predetermined period elapses. The first voltage value is equal to or greater than a voltage value necessary to keep lighting a light source. The second voltage value is smaller than the voltage value necessary to keep lighting the light source.
