A sound-insulating floor structure, which can conspicuously reduce heavy floor impact sounds, is provided. The sound-insulating floor structure includes a floor base and an underfloor member. A plurality of sound-insulating floor members are arranged between the floor base and the underfloor member, and each of the sound-insulating floor members includes a plurality of impact-absorbing members and a support member supporting the impact-absorbing members. The impact-absorbing members are provided at at least one of upper and lower faces of the support member. Each of the sound-insulating floor members is fixed to the floor base or to the underfloor member, thereby supporting the underfloor member.

An elastic block, which is adapted to be paved on an underlying base for absorbing impacts, includes a laminate composed of a powdery rubber-containing layer and a vulcanized rubber layer underlying the powdery rubber-containing layer, the powdery rubber-containing layer being a compression molded layer composed of a mixture comprising elastic chips having the particle size of 0.5 to 10 mm and a resin binder, the vulcanized rubber layer being a vulcanized molding of an unvulcanized rubber layer, wherein the elastic chips are fixedly bonded to one another with the resin binder and the powdery rubber-containing layer is adhered to the vulcanized rubber layer when the mixture layer and the unvulcanized rubber layer are subjected to pressurization and vulcanization.

An impact-cushioning sheet comprises an air enclosed film base having concave portions or a perforated base material composed of fiberboard and/or foamed body and a crosslinked viscoelastic body filled in the concave portions or holes and having specified properties. A direct-applying restraint type floor damping structure is manufactured by adhering a floor component part to at least one surface of the impact-cushioning sheet.

There is provided a novel adhesive-backed tile panel protected by a release sheet. The prefabricated tile panel comprises a substrate sheet composed of a core fabric and a heat-softening-adherent asphalt composition applied to the both surfaces of the fabric; an adhesive layer having convex and concave portions such as stripes of an adhesive not flowable but sticky at an ambient temperature; and tiles arranged regularly and secured to the asphalt composition layer of the substrate sheet. The convex portions and concave portions of the adhesive layer constitute the gaps through which air present between the tile panels and a substrate board can be purged upon installation of the tile panels. The tile panels can be installed readily on a substrate board having thereon horizontal indication means such as crosspieces by removing the release sheet, mounting the tile panels on the substrate board, and pressing the mounted tile panels to purge air present between the panels and the board through the gaps of the adhesive layer and to increase the effective adhesion areas of the adhesive layer. A unit substrate board having specified structures for assembling a preferred substrate board is also provided for installation of the tile panels.
