A compressor includes a first-stage compression unit configured to compress a refrigerant, a second-stage compression unit configured to compress the refrigerant compressed by the first-stage compression unit, a shaft member connected to the first-stage compression unit and the second-stage compression unit, and a cover member configured to cover the shaft member. A first passage is provided between the first-stage compression unit and the second-stage compression unit. A front chamber is provided around the cover member. The front chamber is connected to the first passage and to a second passage to which the refrigerant from an economizer is sent. The second passage is provided with a passage structure configured such that a flowing direction of the refrigerant supplied through the second passage to the front chamber is an avoidance direction. The avoidance direction is a direction that differs from a direction toward the shaft member.

Compressor

A drive support unit of a turbo compressor includes at least one bearingless motor. The at least one bearingless motor includes a rotor-stator pair constituted by a rotor and a stator, and is configured to rotationally drive a drive shaft and to support a radial load of the drive shaft in a contactless manner. Accordingly, it is possible to provide a turbo compressor to which a bearingless motor is applied.

Turbo compressor

A rotary compressor includes a first cylinder, a first piston and a drive shaft. The drive shaft includes a first eccentric portion, a first shaft portion rotatably supported by a first bearing, and a first coupling portion coupling the first shaft portion with the first eccentric portion. The first piston is fitted to the first eccentric portion. The first shaft portion has a cylindrical shape coaxial with the rotational center axis. R&#x2212;e&#x3c;R. An outer surface of the first coupling portion does not extend radially out of an outer surface of the first eccentric portion. Rotary compressor

A rotary compressor includes a first cylinder, a first piston and a drive shaft. The drive shaft includes a first eccentric portion, a first shaft portion rotatably supported by a first bearing, and a first coupling portion coupling the first shaft portion with the first eccentric portion. The first piston is fitted to the first eccentric portion. The first shaft portion has a cylindrical shape coaxial with the rotational center axis. R&#x2212;e&#x3c;R. Ris a radius of the first eccentric portion. Ris a radius of the first shaft portion. eis an eccentricity of the first eccentric portion. An outer surface of the first coupling portion does not extend radially out of the outer surface of the first eccentric portion. A circumferentially extending groove is formed at an end of an inner peripheral surface of the first piston on a first coupling portion side in the axial direction of the drive shaft.

A loudspeaker device includes a loudspeaker unit and an enclosure. The loudspeaker unit outputs sounds mainly in a first direction, upon receiving an electric signal. The enclosure is configured with at least a part of an interior member of a movable-body device, and secures and accommodates the loudspeaker unit in the inside of the enclosure. The interior member includes a body part, and an accommodation part that accommodates the loudspeaker unit therein and is formed integrally with the body part. The accommodation part is larger in dimension along the first direction than the body part.

Loudspeaker device and movable-body device equipped with the same

A high pressure dome type rotary compressor including a casing and a compression mechanism disposed in the casing to compress gas in a cylinder chamber. The compression mechanism has a discharge port and a discharge valve. The discharge valve is opened in a discharge process and is closed during a period from when the discharge process is finished to when a next compression process is started. The compressor is arranged such that high pressure gas discharged from the discharge port in the discharge process is discharged outside the casing through space in the casing. An oil feed path is arranged to feed lubricant oil contained in a bottom of the casing to an inside of the discharge port in a period from a point in time in the discharge process to when the compression process is started.

At a time of a heating high-load operation, a harmonic current is flown in an armature winding to induction-heat rare-earth magnets, thus reducing a residual magnetic flux density. Thereby, the number of rotations of a radial gap type motor is improved. The rare-earth magnets are provided near a cooling medium passage extending substantially in parallel with a flow line of a cooling medium, so that the cooling medium recovers heat of the heated rare-earth magnets. At a time of a cooling high-load operation, a greater number of rotations are obtained with respect to the same torque command value, by a field weakening control by means of a current-phase advance.

Plasma display panel having low residual stress

A compressor includes a compression mechanism having two opposed end plates, a fixed member disposed between the two end plates, a movable member disposed between the two end plates, a bypass passage, and an opener/closer. The movable member is arranged to eccentrically move about a predetermined rotational axis to compress refrigerant in a compression chamber formed between the fixed member and the movable member. The bypass passageway has an upstream end opened to the compression chamber through which refrigerant is partially ejected from the compression chamber so as to be returned to a suction side of the compression mechanism. The cross section of the upstream end of the bypass passage is preferably elongated circumferentially about the rotational axis. The compression mechanism may include a plurality of bypass passages and a plurality of openers/closers.

A reed valve and a valve retainer for the reed valve are provided at a discharge port of a compression mechanism that compresses fluid. The valve retainer has a polymer actuator at an end part of a valve fixing part for fixing the reed valve. The polymer actuator expands or contracts in length to change a fixed length of the reed valve, thereby changing a rigidity of the reed valve. This attains appropriate control of responsiveness of the reed valve according to the volume.

A scroll fluid machine includes a stationary scroll having a spiral wrap formed on an end plate and a moving scroll having a spiral wrap formed on an end plate. A polymer actuator for adjusting the amount of space between the wrap and the end plate is disposed in a recess formed at a tip of the wrap. The polymer actuator changes its shape along a height of the wrap to adjust an amount of the space. The polymer actuator also functions as a seal between the end plate and the wrap. The recess is formed such that a wall of the recess including an inner circumference surface of the wrap has a thickness different from that of a wall of the recess including an outer circumference surface of the wrap.

Scroll fluid machine having an adjustment member with a deformable element

A discharge valve mechanism has a plurality of discharge openings. The discharge openings are placed in an open or closed state by a plate-like valve element. Each of the discharge openings is formed at a respective location between a base end side and a leading end side of the valve element. The number of discharge openings to be placed in the open state is varied depending on the pressure and the flow rate of gas refrigerant discharged from a compression chamber.
