A transmission device includes a casing accommodating a transmission gear and having an oil sump for retaining oil. The oil in the oil sump flows from a lubrication pump through a lubrication passage and is injected to the transmission gear. A connection portion is provided in a part of the lubrication passage, which part is disposed outside the casing. A direction control valve is provided downstream of the lubrication pump and upstream of the connection portion in the lubrication passage with respect to a flow direction of the oil. The direction control valve is configured to open the lubrication passage when a hydraulic pressure in the lubrication passage exceeds a predetermined value and to close the lubrication passage when the hydraulic pressure is equal to or lower than the predetermined value.

A gear including: a hub provided on an inner peripheral side and configured to be connected to a main shaft; a rim provided on an outer peripheral side and formed with external teeth; and a gear web connecting the hub and the rim. The gear web includes a first web extending obliquely upward from the rim to the hub; and a second web extending obliquely downward from the rim to the hub. The first web includes a plurality of first web pieces formed so as to be spaced apart in a circumferential direction, and the second web includes a plurality of second web pieces formed so as to be spaced apart in the circumferential direction. The first web pieces and the second web pieces are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction and are located at mutually different circumferential positions.

Gear

An output frame is connected to a portion of a radially outer portion of a carrier, the portion being closer to a front plate than to a rear plate. The carrier has a first region as an external force transmission path between front pin support surfaces and the output frame, and a second region as the external for transmission path between rear shaft support surfaces and the output frame, and a stiffness with respect to a twist force of the first region and a stiffness with respect to the twist force of the second region are equal to each other. In the front plate and the rear plate, a stiffness with respect to a radial tensile force applied to the front pin support surfaces and a stiffness with respect to the radial tensile force applied to the rear shaft support surfaces are equal to each other.

A gear cooling structure includes: a gear including a plurality of teeth extending in a particular direction; and a nozzle that jets out oil toward a toothed surface of the gear. The nozzle extends in the particular direction, and has a width that is narrower than a gap between tips of the plurality of teeth.

An oil supply structure for a planetary gear device includes: a planetary gear device including a tubular body that rotates together with a carrier that holds planetary gears, the tubular body including a lubricating oil introduction port formed therein; an annular body that slides against the tubular body, the annular body including a lubricating oil supply passage that communicates with the lubricating oil introduction port; a pair of seal rings attached to the tubular body or the annular body at both sides of the lubricating oil introduction port in an axial direction; bypass passages bypassing the pair of respective seal rings; and a pair of pressure reduction mechanisms disposed between the lubricating oil introduction port and the pair of seal rings or disposed outside the pair of seal rings, the pair of pressure reduction mechanisms each limiting a flow of lubricating oil between the tubular body and the annular body.

A planetary gear device includes a sun gear; a plurality of planetary gears; a planetary carrier at which the plurality of planetary gears are rotatably provided; and a ring gear, wherein the planetary carrier includes an oil feeding passage which feeds lubricating oil to at least one of the plurality of planetary gears, wherein the ring gear is a double helical gear in which a pair of rows of internal teeth are arranged in a direction of an axis line of the ring gear and the internal teeth of one of the rows and the internal teeth of the other of the rows are inclined in different directions, the ring gear including at least one discharge passage, wherein the at least one discharge passage includes an inlet-side portion and an outlet-side portion, the inlet-side portion being closer to an inlet configured to open in a region between the pair of rows of internal teeth at an inner peripheral surface of the ring gear, and the outlet-side portion being closer to an outlet configured to open in a region of an outer peripheral surface of the ring gear, and wherein the inlet-side portion is formed at the ring gear so that the inlet-side portion is inclined in a rotation direction of the planetary carrier, with respect to a reference line extending in a radial direction of the ring gear.

Planetary gear device

A mount mechanism used to mount an accessory gear box on an engine case in an aircraft engine, includes a pair of first brackets apart from each other in a circumferential direction of the engine case; the pair of first brackets being connected to each other via the link, both end portions of the link being coupled to the pair of first brackets by a pair of first pins, respectively; an annular anti-vibration element penetrated by each of the pair of first pins, the annular anti-vibration element being retained by at least one of each of the pair of first brackets and the end portion of the link; and a second bracket fastened to the other of the engine case and the accessory gear box, the second bracket box being coupled to the link by a second pin at a location between the pair of first brackets.

A planetary gear reduction system has a sun gear, a plurality of planet gears, a ring gear, and a planet carrier. The planet carrier has a first plate supporting one ends of planet shafts supporting the planet gears, a second plate supporting the other ends of the planet shafts, and a cylindrical drum connecting the first and second plates. The first plate has first portions supporting the one ends of the planet shafts; second portions connecting the first plate to the drum, the first and second portions being provided alternately in a circumferential direction; first cutouts each defined between the neighboring first and second portions, the first cutouts each extending radially inwardly from a circumferential edge thereof to a position adjacent a circle passing centers of the planet shafts; and second cutouts each defined radially inward of the second portion and between the neighboring two first portions, the second cutouts each extending radially inwardly from a first region outside the circle and a second region inside the circle.

Planetary gear reduction system

A planetary reduction gear apparatus has a sun gear having external teeth; planetary gears, each having external teeth and configured to be meshed with the sun gear; planetary shafts, each being a rotation shaft of the planetary gear; a ring gear having internal teeth and configured to be meshed with the planetary gears; and a planetary carrier including an annular base plate and an annular back plate. The planetary carrier supports the planetary shafts between the annular base plate and the annular back plate and determines a relative position between planetary gears. The annular base plate is integrally formed with one end of the planetary shaft to support the one end. The annular back plate supports the other end of the planetary shaft. At least one of the planetary shaft and the planetary carrier has lower stiffness in its part adjacent to the one end of the planetary shaft than stiffness of its part adjacent to the other end thereof.
