Provided is a vehicle floor mat reducing a load on a mat main body. The vehicle floor mat includes at least one fastening device for fastening the mat main body to a vehicle. The fastening device includes a first fastening member fixed to the vehicle and a second fastening member fixed to the mat main body. The first fastening member includes a vertical rotating knob, and the second fastening member includes: an insertion receiving section for the rotating knob to be inserted thereinto and engaged therewith; and upper and lower half bodies sandwiching the mat main body and being connected to each other through a half body connecting portion for the rotating knob to be inserted thereinto and at least one outer connecting portion disposed outside the half body connecting portion provided around the insertion receiving section, thus improving a connecting strength between the upper and lower half bodies.

Vehicle floor mat

Provided is a vehicle floor mat that can reliably maintain a fixed state and includes a mat main body and at least one fastening device for fastening the mat main body to a vehicle. The fastening device includes a first fastening member fixed to the vehicle and a second fastening member fixed to the mat main body. The first fastening member includes a rotating knob rotating about a vertical axis and a lever pivotally provided on an upper section of the knob. The second fastening member includes an insertion receiving section for the knob to be inserted thereinto, and engaged therewith by rotating the knob inserted into the insertion receiving section. A rotation of the knob in an engaged state is restricted by laying the lever. The knob and lever allow the mat main body to be fixed to the vehicle through a two-step fixation mechanism, thus enabling strong fixation.

Provided is an arrangement for stowing away a retractable tonneau cover assembly () under a floor of a luggage space () requiring a very small space. A recess () is formed laterally across a width of a vehicle body in a rear end thereof. When stowing away the assembly, an outer tube () of the assembly is received in the recess with a longitudinal slot () thereof facing upward. A flexible cover sheet () extends out of the longitudinal slot (), and a rigid free end member () attached to a free end of the flexible cover sheet () extends along a rear side of the outer tube into a deep section (B) of the recess (). Therefore, the recess () is required to have a width which is not significantly greater than the height (h) of the outer tube ().

Luggage space arrangement for stowing away a retractable tonneau cover assembly

In a battery cooling air intake structure, in which a trunk side lining () of a vehicle body side part is disposed so as to be continuous with a side part of a seat back () of a seat for a passenger to sit on, and a battery is cooled using, as cooling air, air within a vehicle compartment taken in via an intake port () provided in a front face () of the trunk side lining (), since a seat belt () is disposed so that at least part thereof in a non-used state overlaps the intake port () when viewed in the vehicle body fore-and-aft direction and a predetermined gap (b) is formed between the intake port () and at least part of the seat belt () when viewed in the vehicle width direction, it is possible to prevent interference with the intake of cooling air due to the intake port () being blocked by the seat belt (), while disposing the seat belt () as far toward the outside in the vehicle width direction as possible so that it does not overlap the seat back ().

Battery cooling air intake structure

A vehicle rear structure is provided in which, when a seatback is tilted forward and folded, an upper surface of the seatback and a rear floor positioned behind the seat form a flat surface. A bridge plate is extended between the folded seatback and the rear floor. The bridge plate is rotatably attached to the front edge of the rear floor. A portion for lifting a front edge portion of the bridge plate in conjunction with the uprising movement of the seatback is provided at the rear of the seatback to prevent the seatback from getting stuck on the front edge portion of the bridge plate.
