Connector

A board connector including an inner terminal including a connection portion for connecting to an inner conductor, an outer terminal, and a terminal unit-side dielectric body. The outer terminal includes a terminal-side covering portion covering the inner terminal in a state in which the connection portion protrudes outward, and a terminal-side extension portion extending from the terminal-side covering portion and extending alongside the connection portion. The terminal unit-side dielectric body is provided between the inner terminal and the outer terminal at an inside of the terminal-side covering portion so as to support the inner terminal.

A board connector including plural terminal units each including an inner terminal, an outer terminal covering the inner terminal, and a terminal unit-side dielectric body provided between the inner terminal and the outer terminal and supporting the inner terminal. The plural terminal units are arranged in a row along one direction in a state in which adjacent of the plural terminal units contact each other.

Connector and connector set

For a connector including a terminal and a housing into which the terminal is inserted, the degrees of freedom of design are raised for a retaining portion that retains the terminal, and adjustment of connector characteristics such as impedance is facilitated. A connector is configured including terminals (signal terminals and power source terminals) and housings into which the terminals are inserted. The housings are configured including a first housing (the fitting housing) and a second housing (the mounted housing). The first housing includes first side retaining portions (signal terminal retaining portions and power source terminal retaining portions of the fitting housing) that retain portions of the terminals. The second housing includes second side retaining portions (signal terminal retaining portions and power source terminal retaining portions of the mounted housing) that retain other portions of the terminals.

Connector with first and second side retaining portions

A connector includes a housing and a shield member. The housing includes an insertion-removal section and a guide face, a connection target is inserted into or removed from the insertion-removal section through an insertion-removal port in an insertion-removal direction, and the guide face is formed at a peripheral portion of the insertion-removal section so as to guide the connection target toward the insertion-removal section. The shield member includes a pair of shield portions and a coupling portion. The pair of shield portions are disposed on both sides of the housing in a first direction intersecting the insertion-removal direction, the coupling portion couples the pair of shield portions together in the first direction, the coupling portion contacts a location of the housing on an opposite side to the insertion-removal port in the insertion-removal direction, and the coupling portion at least partially overlaps the guide face as viewed in the insertion-removal direction.

A connector to which a connection target object is fitted and connected by inserting the connection target object into a fitting chamber is configured to allow the fitting operation to be readily performed even in a case where the connector is small. An insertion guiding surface is provided round an insertion port through which the connection target object is inserted. The insertion guiding surface has an inner guiding surface that extends from the edge of the insertion port toward the fitting chamber, an intermediate guiding surface provided in a region outside the inner guiding surface, and an outer guiding surface provided in a region outside the intermediate guiding surface. The inner guiding surface differs from the intermediate guiding surface in terms of shape, and the intermediate guiding surface differs from the outer guiding surface in terms of shape.

Electrical connector

A connector is provided to sufficiently absorb the displacements of a plurality of connection objects with respect to a substrate even when the plurality of connection objects are connected. Two movable housings are formed by separate members that can move relative to each other, thereby absorbing the displacements of two mating connectors connected to the respective movable housings by each of the respective movable housings. This can sufficiently absorb the displacements of the mating connectors relative to a substrate.
