This invention relates to a curable silicone composition comprising: (A) a straight-chain organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups in a molecule; (B) an organopolysiloxane represented by the following average unit formula: (RSiO)(RSiO)(RSiO)(SiO)(XO)wherein, Reach independently represent an alkyl group having from 1 to 12 carbons, an alkenyl group having from 2 to 12 carbons, an aryl group having from 6 to 20 carbons, an aralkyl group having from 7 to 20 carbons, or a group in which some or all of the hydrogen atoms of these groups are substituted with halogen atoms, with the proviso that at least two Rin a molecule are the alkenyl groups, X is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, a is a number from 0 to 0.3, b is 0 or a positive number, c is a positive number, d is a positive number, e is a number from 0 to 0.4, a+b+c+d=1, c/d is a number from 0 to 10, and b/d is a number from 0 to 0.5; (C) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in a molecule; (D) a cerium-containing organopolysiloxane; and (E) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst. The curable silicone composition does not develop cracks due to thermal aging and can form a cured product having little yellow discoloration.

Curable silicone composition, cured product thereof, and optical semiconductor device

A room temperature-curable electrically conductive fluorosilicone rubber composition comprises: (A) a fluoropolysiloxane capped at the molecular terminals with hydroxyl groups having a viscosity at 25&#xb0; C. of from 1,000 to 1,000,000 mPa&#xb7;s; (B) fine silica powder having a BET specific surface area of not less than 50 m/g; (C) a carbon black; (D) a fibrous carbon allotrope having a graphene structure; and (E) a crosslinking agent. Component (D) is comprised in an amount of not less than 1.5 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of component (A). The room temperature-curable electrically conductive fluorosilicone rubber composition is cured to form a cured product having both superior post-cure physical strength and electrical conductivity. Also, the room temperature-curable electrically conductive fluorosilicone rubber composition has viscosity that enables superior handling, and provides superior post-cure surface smoothness, solvent resistance, and adhesion.

The present invention relates to a curable silicone composition which is a hydrosilylation reaction curable silicone composition for sealing, coating, or adhering of an optical semiconductor element, and includes at least one type of compound selected from triazole-based compounds with the exception of benzotriazole. The curable silicone composition, for example, includes (A) an organopolysiloxane having at least 2 aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbon groups per molecule, (B) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule, (C) at least one type of compound selected from among triazole-based compounds with the exception of non-substituted benzotriazole, and (D) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst. The curable silicone composition forms a cured product having excellent transparency and thermal shock resistance, and the optical semiconductor device utilizing the composition has excellent reliability.

Curable silicone composition and optical semiconductor device

The present invention has an objective to provide a silicone elastomer composition in which a cured product thereof is flexible, which provides a silicone elastomer with a small hardness change even due to thermal aging, and in which superior adhesive properties with respect to other silicone elastomers and superior curing properties are exhibited. The objective of the present invention can be achieved by a silicone elastomer composition comprising: (A) an organopolysiloxane having two or more silicon atom-bonded alkenyl groups on average in a molecule, in which the content of the alkenyl group is less than 0.2% by weight with respect to the amount of component (A); (B) an organopolysiloxane having two or more silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms on average in a molecule, in which the amount of the silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms in component (B) ranges from 2.5 to 10 mol with respect to one mol of the silicon atom-bonded alkenyl group in component (A); (C) a platinum-group metal-based catalyst, in a specified amount; and (D) a phthalocyanine compound, in which the amount thereof ranges from 5 to 50 mol with respect to one mol of the platinum-based metal in component (C).

A multipackage sponge-forming liquid silicone rubber composition that characteristically comprises at least (A) an alkenyl-containing polydiorganosiloxane comprising (A1) a polydiorganosiloxane that has alkenyl groups on both molecular chain terminals and that does not contain alkenyl groups in the side chains on the molecular chain, and (A2) a polydiorganosiloxane that has at least two alkenyl groups in the side chains on the molecular chain; (B) an organopolysiloxane that has at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in each molecule; (C) a mixture comprising water and an inorganic thickener; (D) an emulsifying agent; (E) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst; and (F) a cure retarder; and is stored as a plurality of separate compositions wherein none of this plurality of separately stored compositions contain both component (A) and component (C), none of this plurality of separately stored compositions contain both component (B) and component (C), and none of this plurality of separately stored compositions contain both component (B) and component (E).

Multi-component sponge-forming liquid silicone rubber composition and silicone rubber sponge manufacturing method

The present invention relates to a process for producing a molded silicone rubber sponge by filling a sponge-forming silicone rubber composition into a cavity of a mold, wherein after the aforementioned sponge-forming silicone rubber composition is cured, and before mold opening of the aforementioned mold, gas present in the aforementioned cavity is discharged. Thereby, a molded silicone rubber sponge without damage such as chips or the like can be effectively produced.

A thermoconductive liquid silicone rubber composition is provided for fixing rolls. The composition is capable of producing silicone rubber of superior thermal conductivity and small compression set after curing. The thermoconductive liquid silicone rubber composition contains (A) a diorganopolysiloxane with at least two silicon bonded alkenyl groups per molecule, (B) an alumina powder with an average particle size not more than 10 &mgr;m and an ignition loss of not more than 0.15 weight percent, (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least two silicon bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule, and (D) a platinum catalyst. The present invention relates to a curable silicone composition comprising (A) an alkenyl-functional organopolysiloxane, (B) a siloxane-modified acrylic polymer, (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane, and (D) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst.
