One embodiment provides a solenoid valve. The solenoid valve includes a fixed core, a movable core and a coil. A first valve seat member and a second valve seat member are fixed in the fixed core, and a valve body member is disposed therebetween. A spring member is interposed between the valve body member and the second valve seat member such that the valve body member is normally seated on the first valve seat member. The valve body member can move away from the first valve seat member to be seated on the second valve seat member, by being pushed by the movable core. And, a guide member holds the valve body member and the spring member to the second valve seat member so as not to move away from the second valve seat member.

Solenoid valve, vehicle brake hydraulic pressure control apparatus and solenoid valve fabrication method

A brake fluid pressure control system for a vehicle is provided with: a master cylinder activated by the operation of a brake pedal; a motor cylinder device that generates brake hydraulic pressure in response to an operation amount of the brake pedal; first brake fluid flow lines that allow the master cylinder to communicate with wheel cylinders; two-position three-way valves arranged at connection points between the first brake fluid lines and second brake fluid lines. The two-position three-way valves switch between a state in which the master cylinder communicates with the wheel cylinder and a state in which the motor cylinder device communicates with the wheel cylinder.

Brake fluid pressure control system for vehicle

In one embodiment of the brake system, the control unit executes a fluid suction control to suck in the brake fluid from the supply line. The control unit determines whether or not the fluid suction control needs to be executed, and in the event that the control unit determines that the fluid suction control needs to be executed, the control unit is configured to close the cutoff valve and control the electric actuator to drive the slave cylinder in a depressurizing direction.

In one embodiment of the brake system, the connection of the master cylinder and the slave cylinder to the wheel brakes can be switched by the first switching valve and the second switching valve, and the communication with the slave cylinder can be cut off by the first cutoff valve and the second cutoff valve. This enables the fluid pressures which are applied to the wheel brakes to be put in the various states without having a complex configuration, thereby making it possible to control the fluid pressures with good efficiency in such a way as to match suitably the conditions of the brake system and the conditions of the vehicle.

First main and second hydraulic pressure paths, master cut valves configured to open and close the first and second main hydraulic pressure paths, respectively, a slave cylinder that operates in accordance with an operation amount of a brake operator, a first communication path that communicates from the slave cylinder to the first main hydraulic pressure path, and a second communication path that communicates from the slave cylinder to the second main hydraulic pressure path are provided. The slave cylinder includes a single hydraulic pressure chamber. The slave cylinder communicates with the first and second communication paths through a common flow path connected to the hydraulic pressure chamber. The slave cylinder is configured to be able to increase a pressure on a downstream side of the first or second main hydraulic pressure path. An on-off valve is provided in at least one of the first and second communication paths.

Brake hydraulic pressure generator

One embodiment of the present invention provides a brake hydraulic pressure generating device, including: a master cylinder, a stroke simulator and an on/off valve. The on/off valve opens/closes a branch hydraulic pressure passage, which branches from a main hydraulic pressure passage. The on/off valve includes a first valve mechanism including a first valve portion and a first valve seat, and a second valve mechanism including a second valve portion and a second valve seat. The first valve seat is formed in the second valve portion. A pressure receiving area in which brake hydraulic pressure acting from the stroke simulator side is received is set to be higher in the second valve portion than in the first valve portion.

Brake hydraulic pressure generating device

A valve system of a braking device provided with a stroke simulator that is connected via a connection passage with a pipe for making a master cylinder communicate with a wheel cylinder; and a third shut-off valve that is a solenoid valve and performs opening and closing of a communication between the master cylinder and the stroke simulator, wherein the third shut-off valve is a normally closed valve; and the valve system opens the third shut-off valve by applying a start-up voltage, thereafter keeps the open state of the third shut-off valve by alternately applying a holding voltage that is lower than the start-up voltage and the start-up voltage, in order to prevent heat generated in the valve from becoming excessively high even while keeping the open state of the valve.

A normally-closed electromagnetic valve has a body member having a receiving space, a fixed core, a valve seat, a moving core, a resilient member urging the moving core toward the valve seat, a valve element and a coil exciting the fixed core to produce an attracting force between the fixed core and the moving core, wherein the moving core has a through hole, the valve element is inserted into the through hole from the valve seat-side, at least a part of the resilient member is inserted into the through hole from the fixed core-side and the resilient member is compressed between a moving core-side end of the fixed core and a fixed core-side end of the valve seat.
