Arylamine derivatives that can be utilized as hole transport or hole injection materials of organic electroluminescence devices, electrophotographic reactors, etc., and synthetic intermediates thereof, and processes of producing those. The arylamine derivative is represented by the general formula (1): wherein Rto Reach independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aryl group, an aryloxy group, a halogen atom, an amino group, etc.; Arand Areach independently represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group or hetero-aromatic group, and Arand Armay form a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring together with the nitrogen atom to which Arand Arbond; and Arrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group.
