A feeding device includes a loading unit at which a printing medium is loaded, a roller that transports the printing medium, a transport path member at which the roller is disposed, the transport path member constituting a transport path on which the printing medium is transported, a drive source that generates a drive force that rotates the roller, a clutch that is movable between a coupling position at which the drive force is transmitted to the roller, and a release position at which the drive force is not transmitted to the roller, and an operation unit for operating the clutch, in which the operation unit is provided at a position, on the transport path member, facing the printing medium being transported by the roller, and the roller is removable from the transport path member when the clutch is located at the release position.

Feeding device

A printing apparatus including a roll paper accommodating unit configured to accommodate roll paper, a single sheet paper accommodating unit configured to accommodate single sheet paper, a printing unit configured to perform printing on the roll paper fed from the roll paper accommodating unit, and to perform printing on the single sheet paper fed from the single sheet paper accommodating unit, and a main body frame that supports the single sheet paper accommodating unit and the roll paper accommodating unit, in which the roll paper accommodating unit and the single sheet paper accommodating unit are located in ranges, in a front-back direction of the printing apparatus, overlapping a range in which the printing unit is present, and are located downward of the printing unit with respect to a vertical direction, and the roll paper accommodating unit and the single sheet paper accommodating unit are movable frontward of the printing apparatus.

Printing apparatus

A transport apparatus includes an idler roller and a drive roller that transport a medium by rotating with the medium being nipped therebetween, a first frame that includes a first position and a second position that is different from the first position, a main guide shaft that extends in a transverse direction that intersects a transport direction of the medium and is joined to the first frame at the first position, a second frame that is joined to the first frame at the second position, and an urging member that exerts a force on the second frame by urging the idler roller toward the drive roller. In the transport apparatus, the first position is located in an overlapping region between the first frame and the second frame in a height direction that orthogonally intersects the transport direction and the transverse direction.

Transport apparatus and printing apparatus

A roll-like medium feeding apparatus includes a support shaft supporting a roll-like medium to be mounted in a freely attached and detached manner, and includes a mounting portion to which a first shaft becoming the support shaft is mounted with the movement of a direction perpendicular to the first shaft in a freely attached and detached manner; a second gear wheel that can be meshed with a first gear wheel disposed in the first shaft and can be rotated around a second shaft which is disposed so as to be parallel to the first shaft that is in the state of being mounted to the mounting portion; and a displacement mechanism that is operated so as to displace the second gear wheel between a meshed position to be meshed with the first gear wheel that is in the state in which the first shaft is mounted to the mounting portion and a separated position separated from the first gear wheel.
