A hybrid vehicle includes a battery, a generation unit having an internal combustion engine and a generator configured to supply electric power generated to a motor or the battery, the motor, and a mount which connects the internal combustion engine to a vehicle body. An internal combustion engine control device for the vehicle includes a generation unit activation determination portion which determines whether or not the generation unit needs to be activated to operate, a mount displacement quantity deriving portion which derives a mount displacement quantity indicating an extended/contracted length of the mount, and an internal combustion engine control portion which prohibits a start of the internal combustion engine a case the mount displacement quantity exceeds a threshold.

A control device for an alternating current motor includes: a target current generating unit which generates a current order value, based on a torque order, as a d-axis target current and a q-axis target current on dq coordinates; a current detection device which detects an alternating current supplied to each phase of a polyphase alternating current motor; a coordinate transforming unit which transforms the alternating current detected by the current detection device into a d-axis current and a q-axis current on the dq coordinates; and a vector control unit which carries out a current feedback control so that the d-axis current follows up the d-axis target current and the q-axis current follows up the q-axis target current. The vector control unit further includes: an operation switching unit which, depending on whether a back electromotive voltage of the alternating current motor is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, calculates one of a d-axis deviation and a q-axis deviation from the deviation between the d-axis target current and the d-axis current and the other one of the d-axis deviation and the q-axis deviation from the deviation between the q-axis target current and the q-axis current; and an integration controlling unit which outputs a d-axis integration voltage order value proportional to an integral value of the d-axis deviation and a q-axis integration voltage order value proportional to an integral value of the q-axis deviation. An alternating current supplied to each phase of the alternating current motor is controlled based on an output of the integration controlling unit.

A riding lawn mower comprises a frame supported by wheels, a mower housing carried at the underside of the frame, a plurality of cutter blades located within the mower housing to cut grass, a collection bag mounted on the rear of the frame, a discharge chute extending between the mower housing and the collection bag and defining a clipping path from the cutter blades into the collection bag, a blower including an impeller housing attached to the mower housing and an impeller located within the impeller housing and cooperating with the butter blades to convey the grass clippings into the collection bag through the discharge chute. A short conduit connects the impeller housing to the upstream end of the discharge chute to conduct an air generated by the impeller into the discharge chute. A central axis of the conduit is offset downwardly from a central axis of the discharge chute.
