Provided is a piping system for an air conditioner installed in a vehicle that can achieve appropriate weight reduction while ensuring appropriate pressure resistance as the piping system as a whole. A circulation path that connects component devices of an air conditioner () in an annular shape to circulate a refrigerant (C) is formed by each pipe body extending between the component devices. At least one of the pipe bodies includes: a resin hose () embedded with a non-metal reinforcing material () or a resin pipe () embedded with a non-metal reinforcing material (), and the resin pipe bodies (), () are employed in 50% or more of a total length of each of the pipe bodies constituting the circulation path.

Provided is a hydrogen-dispensing hose. At least two reinforcing layers are coaxially layered between an inner surface layer of a thermoplastic resin having a dry hydrogen gas permeability coefficient at 90&#xb0; C. of 1&#xd7;10cc&#xb7;cm/cm&#xb7;sec.&#xb7;cmHg or less and an outer surface layer of a thermoplastic resin. A wire braided layer formed by braiding metal wires is used as the outermost reinforcing layer. Fiber braided layers formed by braiding high-strength fibers such as polyparaphenylene benzobisoxazole fibers are used as the other reinforcing layers.

Hydrogen-dispensing hose

An object of the present invention is to provide ultra-low permeation hoses which have at the interior thereof a refrigerant barrier layer that consists in large part of a metal layer and is capable of conforming to hose deformation, which have an excellent resistance to refrigerant permeation (i.e., barrier properties to refrigerants), particularly an excellent COpermeation resistance and an excellent heat resistance when COis used as the refrigerant. The object can be accomplished by an ultra-low permeation hose having at least a refrigerant barrier layer and a rubber layer and/or a resin layer; wherein the refrigerant barrier layer is a laminated film comprising a resin layer and, on the outside thereof, a metal layer, which the resin layer and the metal layer are bonded together by a polyamide-epoxy reactive adhesive.

Ultra-low permeation hose and method of manufacture

A low permeable hose having at least a refrigerant barrier layer and a rubber layer is provided. The barrier layer is a laminate film having a structure such that resin layers sandwich a metal layer therebetween and having an elongation at breakage of 10% or more. The outermost layer of the resin layer may be an adhesive layer composed of a phenol resin based composition. The hose can be produced by heating the refrigerant barrier layer and the rubber layer to a temperature no lower than the melting point of a resin that constitutes the resin layers to melt the resin and vulcanizing said rubber layer, or, laminating an adhesive layer composed of a phenol resin based composition and the rubber layer, thereby splicing the refrigerant barrier layer and the rubber layer.

Low permeable hose and method for producing the same

Rubber compositions for hose production having excellent scorch resistance, extrudability, moisture impermeability, weatherability (ozone resistance), and compression set resistance, as well as a hose produced therefrom, and in particular, a refrigerant hose and its production process are provided. More illustratively, a composition comprising (A) a brominated copolymer of an isomonoolefin and a p-alkylstyrene (PMS) wherein PMS content, bromine (Br) content, and Br/PMS weight ratio are within particular ranges; (B) zinc white; and (C) a brominated alkylphenol resin, and a hose wherein such composition is used for the inner tube and/or the outer cover are provided. Also provided are a composition comprising (A) the brominated copolymer rubber and (D) an inorganic laminar compound; a hose produced by using such composition for the inner tube; and a process for producing a refrigerant hose from such a composition by in-die drawing process.

Refrigerant transporting hose comprising an inner tube formed of a rubber composition based on an isobutylene.p-methylstyrene copolymer in which part or all of the p-methylstyrene units are brominated, and an outer tube around the inner tube with a reinforcing layer interposed, is improved not only in softness and resistance to the permeation of refrigerants but also in vibration and sound absorbing characteristics.
