A mobile terminal device includes a case that forms a storage space for storing a component and that includes an open section at a first surface, a display module that is stored in the open section of the case and that includes a display surface for allowing information to be displayed thereon adjacent to the first surface, a plate that is fixed to an inner surface of the case and that partitions the storage space into a space for storing the display module and a space for storing a component other than the display module, a panel that covers the open section of the case and that supports the display module such that the display module is sandwiched between the panel and the plate, and an adhesive that adheres the panel and a surrounding region of the open section of the case.

An enclosure for an electronic apparatus includes an enclosure body defining an opening. The enclosure allows a panel member to cover over the opening from the outside of the enclosure body. One is allowed to design the panel member regardless of the shape of the opening. This results in a widened variety of design for the enclosure body, namely the enclosure for an electronic apparatus. The enclosure is thus allowed to enjoy an enhanced appearance.

A light emitting element is mounted on the surface of a board. The light emitting element emits light. The light passes through a translucent optical member. The light enters the translucent optical member through a incident surface. The lines of protrusions make the incident surface jagged. The jagged surface resulting from the protrusions enables diffusion of the light entering through the incident surface. The light spreads along the surface of the board. Simultaneously, the emitted light is partly reflected on the incident surface. The reflected light is reflected on a reflecting surface placed behind the light emitting element. The reflected light then enters the translucent optical member. The translucent optical member is thus allowed to illuminate over a wide range with a sufficient brightness. An impressive illumination can be realized.

Electronic apparatus and illuminating device having a translucent member with incident lines of protrusions

Guiding pieces on a bracket cover is engaged with attachment claws on a bracket body. This engagement serves to hold the bracket cover on the bracket body when the bracket cover is set at a first position. When the bracket cover is set at a second position, the engagement between an engagement piece and a hook piece serves to cooperate with the engagement between the guiding pieces and the attachment claws so as to hold the bracket cover on the bracket body. The bracket cover is firmly held on the bracket body when the bracket cover is set at the second position. The bracket cover is thus reliably prevented from detachment from the bracket body.

Electronic apparatus

A camera module unit includes a printed wiring board overlaid on a shielding enclosure. A camera module is supported on the surface of the shielding enclosure. The camera module is located inside a recess defined in the printed wiring board. A shielding metal plate covers over the camera module. An elastic piece is defined in the shielding metal plate. The elastic piece is resiliently received on the surface of the shielding enclosure. The shielding metal plate realizes a sufficient shielding for the camera module in the camera module unit. Electric current is allowed to easily run from the charged shielding metal plate to the shielding enclosure through the elastic piece. The camera module is supported on the shielding enclosure inside the recess. The height of the camera module is reduced above the printed wiring board.

Electronic apparatus and camera module unit

An enclosure assembly allows a hinge bracket to realize establishment of the opened attitude or the closed attitude of a second enclosure relative to a first enclosure. The second enclosure rotates relative to the hinge bracket around the second rotation axis. The second enclosure in this manner changes its attitude relative to the first enclosure. The hinge bracket stays where it is. The hinge bracket does not rotate. The position of the light sources is thus kept unchanged. The position of the light is maintained regardless of a change in the attitude of the second enclosure around the second rotation axis. The enclosure for an electronic apparatus is thus allowed to enjoy an enhanced appearance. This leads to an enhanced appearance of the electronic apparatus.

A portable terminal apparatus with a telephone function such as a portable telephone, for efficiently emitting a voice from a speaker from both a front face and a backside of a housing. The portable terminal has: a first cover that includes a first sound outlet for emitting a sound from the speaker through the front of the portable terminal apparatus; a second cover that includes a second sound outlet for emitting a sound from the speaker through the back of the portable terminal apparatus; and a gasket accommodated at a position sandwiched between the first cover and the speaker.

Portable terminal apparatus

A portable terminal apparatus with a telephone function and a camera module. The apparatus includes a chassis, a camera module including a lens and an image pickup device, a circuit board placed and fixed on the chassis and a camera holder supporting the camera module and fixed on the circuit board to be on the chassis together with the circuit board. The camera holder has an opening for the camera module to look in and a wall section surrounding the opening and surrounding a side face of the camera module to support the camera module.

An adapter in which a portable telephone having a socket including terminals connected to electric terminals therein is receivable includes an adapter body having a concave portion in which the portable telephone is receivable, a connector provided in the adapter body so as to be exposed to the concave portion, the connector having terminals connected to predetermined electric units including at least an antenna, the connector being connectable the socket of the portable telephone, and a clamping mechanism for clamping the portable telephone received in the concave portion of the adapter body in a state where the connector is connected to the socket of the portable telephone so that the terminals of the connector are in contact with the terminals of the socket of the portable telephone.
