An ink refill container includes a container main body including an ink storage chamber, an ink outlet-forming portion provided on an end portion of the container main body forming an ink outlet that allows the ink to flow out from the ink storage chamber, and a valve provided in the ink outlet-forming portion configured to openably seal the ink outlet, in which the ink outlet-forming portion includes a positioning portion on an outer side of the ink outlet-forming portion. in which the positioning portion is closer to the container main body than the valve is to the container main body in a central axis direction of the ink outlet, and in which the positioning portion partially abuts against an ink tank when the valve is opened for refilling the ink to the ink tank, to thereby position the valve relative to the ink tank.

A printer includes a recording head performing recording on a medium and includes a base stand that has a mounting surface capable of mounting the medium. A pump that absorbs or suctions the medium mounted on the mounting surface of the base stand, in which a pressure or a suction force is applied from a part of the medium to an entirety thereof.

Recording apparatus

A printer includes a base platform that has a support surface on which a medium is mounted, and a liquid ejecting unit, which is capable of moving relatively in a direction that runs along the support surface, and which performs a recording operation on the medium from a recording head that moves along the support surface in a direction that intersects the direction. The base platform includes a first power source device, and first control substrate that controls operation of the base platform on the basis of the first power source device, and the liquid ejecting unit includes a second power source device, and a second control substrate that controls operation of the liquid ejecting unit on the basis of the second power source device.

Recording device and recording method

An ink tank includes: a reservoir that stores ink; a supply port that supplies ink stored in the reservoir to a printer; a supply port sealing member that seals the supply port; an air port that communicates between an inside of the reservoir and an atmospheric space above an upper side of a liquid surface of the ink; and an air port sealing member which a needle tube is capable of inserting and pulling out of, and which seals the air port in a state where the needle tube is not inserted.

Ink tank and printer

A printer includes a base on which a medium is mounted, a liquid ejecting unit which performs printing on the medium mounted on the base, an AC servo motor which is installed in the base, and is driven when the base and the liquid ejecting unit are relatively moved, an inverter which is installed in the base and drives the AC servo motor based on power supplied from an external AC power supply, and a power supply portion which is installed in the base and supplies the power supplied from the AC power to the liquid ejecting unit supply through the power transmission cable. The power supply portion includes an AC/DC converter that converts the AC power to DC power and outputs the converted DC power to the power transmission cable.

Printing apparatus with noise supression

A recording device includes: a recording section that records an image on a recording medium; a detecting section that detects an image defect in the image recorded by the recording section; and a repair recording section that is provided separately from the recording section and that performs repair recording for the image defect detected by the detecting section. With such a configuration of the recording device, an image defect in the image recorded on a recording medium is repaired.

A printer includes a light source module including an ejecting head that ejects a UV ink onto a medium. The UV ink hardens when irradiated with a UV light ray. The light source module includes an irradiator that irradiates the UV ink with the UV light ray. The printer may include a guide shaft to/from which the light module is attachable/detachable and a driving controller that performs control of the irradiator. The light source module includes, in addition to the irradiator, a memory module that stores therein information indicating a light irradiation feature of the irradiator. The driving controller performs control of the irradiator by using the information indicating a light irradiation feature of the irradiator.

A textile-printing apparatus includes a pre-treatment agent-applying section that applies a pre-treatment agent to a textile-printing medium, a press section that compresses, while heating the textile-printing medium, the textile-printing medium to which the pre-treatment agent has been applied, a printing liquid discharge section that discharges a printing liquid to the textile-printing medium that has been compressed while being heated by the press section, and a heater that heats the textile-printing medium to which the printing liquid has been discharged.
