An image processing apparatus for photographing a user includes a photographing device configured to photograph the user to generate a photographed image; a display device configured to display a selection screen that is a screen with which the user selects one of a plurality of trimming ranges, the trimming range being a range of trimming a part of the photographed image generated by the photographing device; an instruction receiving device configured to receive selection of the trimming range on the selection screen; and a trimming processor configured to perform a trimming process on the photographed image generated by the photographing device based on the trimming range selected with the instruction receiving device.

A sensor IC of the present invention is provided with plurality of light receiving portions arranged in a row along a primary scanning direction and including a first light receiving portion for receiving light of a first wavelength, a second light receiving portion for receiving light of a second wavelength different from the first wavelength, and a third light receiving portion for receiving light of a third wavelength different from the first wavelength and the second wavelength. The sensor IC further includes a control circuit that outputs a first electric signal corresponding to light of the first wavelength received by the first light receiving portion, a second electric signal corresponding to light of the second wavelength received by the second light receiving portion, and a third electric signal corresponding to light of the third wavelength received by the third light receiving portion.

Sensor IC, contact image sensor and image reading apparatus

A vehicle-mounted camera includes a camera module mounted on a vehicle such as an automobile, and further includes a mirror occupying at least a part of an imaging range of the camera module. The camera module may be arranged to face a forward vehicle traveling direction. The mirror may occupy a lower part of the vertical direction in the imaging range. The camera module and the mirror may both be disposed in the vehicle.

Vehicle-mounted camera

An image sensor includes an elongated case, a light source provided in the case, a light guiding member elongated in a longitudinal direction of the case and configured to direct light emitted from the light source toward a document to be read, an optical system for collecting light reflected by the document, a sensor IC chip for receiving the light collected by the optical system, and a substrate attached to the case. The substrate is provided with a wiring pattern and carries the sensor IC chip. The case is provided with a plurality of supporting projections spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction. The supporting projections are held in contact with the side surface of the light guiding member.

Image sensor

An image reading apparatus includes a light source for illuminating an image reading region extending in the primary scanning direction, and a plurality of lenses for focusing light reflected on the image reading region and for producing reduced images. Each of the lenses has an optical axis which intersects a predetermined portion of the image reading region. The image reading apparatus further includes a plurality of light receiving elements for output of image signals based on the light focused by the lenses and a light conductor for leading the light emitted by the light source toward the image reading region. The light conductor leads the emitted light so that the predetermined portion of the image reading region is illuminated more brightly than the adjacent portions.

Image reading apparatus and light conductor used for the same

An image sensor module includes a lens member, a resin frame that holds the lens member, a diaphragm formed on the lens member, an image sensor chip that receives light converged by the lens member, and a supporting board upon which the image sensor chip is mounted. The board is fixed to the bottom side of the resin frame. The diaphragm includes an opening for allowing the passage of light, and a light-shielding portion which is entirely held in contact with the lens member. The lens member is glued to the frame so that any additional fixing element such as a lens cap is unnecessary.

An image sensor module includes a holder and a lens unit attached in the holder. The lens unit is held in the holder by at least one engagement projection formed by plastically deforming a part of the holder. Preferably, the lens unit includes a first lens spaced from the engagement projection and a second lens adjoining the engagement projection. Each of the first lens and the second lens includes a central lens portion, and a flat peripheral portion surrounding the lens portion. The flat peripheral portion of the first lens is held in contact with the flat peripheral portion of the second lens. The engagement projection engages the flat peripheral portion of the second lens.

An image reading apparatus (A) includes a plurality of light sources () arranged in a row, and a hollow portion () for guiding light emitted from the light sources toward an image read line (S). The hollow portion () is divided by a plurality of partitions () into a plurality of individual sections (). As a result, it is possible to illuminate the longitudinally opposite ends and longitudinally central portion of the image read line (S) uniformly.

An image sensor module (S) includes a substrate () having a projecting portion () projecting sideways from a frame (). The image processing apparatus (B) includes an integrated image-reading/writing head (A), platen rollers (P, P) for a document and a recording paper, and data processor () performing data processing necessary for copying an image on the document. The integrated image-reading/writing head (A), a plurality of light receiving elements () and a plurality of printing elements () are mounted on the same surface of a substrate (). If the document (D) and the recording paper (K) are fed in the same direction, when the image on the document is copied, the pixel data outputted for the printing are arranged in the order of first to n-th. If the document (D) and the recording paper (K) are fed in opposite directions to each other, the pixel data outputted for the printing are arranged in the order of n-th to first.

Image processing apparatus having an image reading unit and a printing unit on one side of a substrate

The integrated image reading/writing head (X) includes a substrate () having a surface () provided with a reading circuit including a plurality of light receiving elements (), a plurality of printing elements () and a writing circuit for controlling the printing elements (). The substrate () is fitted with a connector () for electrical wiring. The connector () is electrically connected with each of the reading circuit, the printing elements and the writing circuit.

The image processing device (A) comprises an original-document platen roller (P) that has a first driven gear (G) and is for transporting an original document (D), a recording-paper platen roller (P) that has a second driven gear (G) and is for transporting recording paper (K), and a drive mechanism () that has a first movable gear (a), a second movable gear (a), and a drive source (M) and is for transmitting a drive force generated by this drive source (M) to the first driven gear (G) and second driven gear (G). First movable gear (a) is provided so as to be capable of engaging directly with first driven gear (G), and second movable gear (a) is provided so as to be capable of engaging directly with second driven gear (G).
