A flexible circuit board includes a plurality of first wires that have a first connection area and a first insulating layer that covers the first wires such that the first connection area is exposed. A printed circuit board includes a plurality of second wires that have a second connection area, a second insulating layer that covers the second wires such that the second connection area is exposed, and a plurality of island conductors adjacent to the second wires across a gap. The second connection area is covered with an anisotropic conductive layer. Each of the second wires in the second connection area at least partially faces a corresponding one of the wires in the first connection area across the anisotropic conductive layer. The plurality of island conductors include an island conductor that is in contact with the anisotropic conductive layer and partially exposed from the anisotropic conductive layer.

Display device, method for manufacturing display device, and printed wiring board

A flexible circuit board includes a plurality of first wires that have a first connection area and a first insulating layer that covers the first wires such that the first connection area is exposed. A printed circuit board includes a plurality of second wires that have a second connection area, a second insulating layer that covers the second wires such that the second connection area is exposed, and a plurality of island conductors adjacent to the second wires across a gap. The second connection area is covered with an anisotropic conductive layer. Each of the second wires in the second connection area at least partially faces a corresponding one of the first wires in the first connection area across the anisotropic conductive layer. The plurality of island conductors include an island conductor that is in contact with the anisotropic conductive layer and partially exposed from the anisotropic conductive layer.

A circuit device comprises: a circuit board on which a plurality of signal lines transmitting a signal, and spare wirings intersecting the signal lines while being insulated therefrom and transmitting a signal if at least one of the signal lines has a defect are arranged; and a plurality of amplifiers each of which has an input terminal to which the signal is input, an output terminal amplifying the signal input to the input terminal and outputting the amplified signal, and a control terminal to which a signal for controlling a turn on or off of an amplification operation is input. The spare wiring includes an input-side spare wiring connected to the input terminal, and an output-side spare wiring connected to the output terminal.

Circuit device and display apparatus

A display module, in which panel electrode terminals of a display panel are bonded to pattern terminals of a Cu foil pattern of a flexible wire board by using an anisotropic conductive adhesive, has a solder resist for protecting the Cu foil pattern on a base material of the flexible wire board so that the solder resist is extended inside the display panel while having the flexible wire board connected to the display panel. Therefore, even when the flexible wire board is used in a bent state, poor connection is surely prevented while conveniently suppressing a break in wire of the Cu foil pattern when bent, thereby attaining a highly reliable display module.
