Provided is an electronic component supply system determining the types of electronic components installed on component pallets at a time when the electronic components are installed on the component pallets for installation, which determines the types of the electronic components installed on the component pallets based on planned multiple jobs continuously performed by multiple electronic component mounting machines to which the component pallets are attached and an execution order for the jobs such that the number of the component pallets exchanged during job switching is minimized.

A component mounting system that efficiently determines a component as a bulk component to be mounted on a bulk feeder through a simulation, and a bulk component determining method. The component mounting system includes a printed-circuit-board conveyance section that includes conveyance lanes and which convey a plurality of different types of printed circuit boards, a component supply section, a mounting head, a bulk feeder, and a bulk component determining section that performs a simulation in which operation times when the components supplied from the component supply section are moved on the printed circuit boards on the conveyance lanes are calculated for all the components and determines the bulk component to be mounted on the bulk feeder based on the calculated operation times.

A substrate stopping position determination method of an electronic component mounting machine, is provided with a movement time calculation step of calculating movement times in which two mounting heads move in order to mount electronic components when a first substrate is positioned in a first side and a second substrate is positioned in a second side, an interference loss time calculation step of calculating an interference loss time in which, while one of the two mounting heads enters an interference area, the other waits to enter the interference area, and a stopping position determination step of determining the first and the second side set position which are selected from among all combinations as substrate stopping positions based on total movement times which are calculated for all of the combinations of the first and the second side set position and the interference loss time.

A production management system is configured so as to make it possible to produce component mounting boards to the same specifications in two lanes of a component mounting machine using one set of NC data by arranging feeders of two feeder set bases in the same manner and setting the mounting order of the components to the circuit boards in the two lanes to be the same in a same-direction production mode in which circuit boards are conveyed in the same front/back direction in the two lanes. In addition, the arrangement of the feeders and the mounting order of the components are optimized so that the difference in production times in the two lanes in the same-direction production mode is minimized.
