An image sensor capable of performing satisfactory distortion aberration correction on an imaging result regardless of a combination of a lens module and an imaging module being used is provided. A main body module of an image sensor acquires size information of an imaging element from a mounted imaging module, acquires distortion aberration characteristic information of an optical system from the mounted lens module, and performs distortion aberration correction using the acquired information.

An image sensor capable of performing satisfactory distortion aberration correction on an imaging result, regardless of a combination of a lens module and an imaging module being used, is provided. A main body module of an image sensor acquires form information of each module from an imaging module and a lens module which are mounted thereon, acquires size information indicating a number of pixels and/or a pixel size of an imaging element within the imaging module and distortion aberration characteristic information indicating distortion aberration characteristics of an optical system within the lens module from a predetermined device on the basis of the acquired form information, and performs distortion aberration correction using the acquired information.

Provided is a tag communication device performing wireless communication with an RFID tag including a light emitting unit. The tag communication device includes a communication unit, an imaging unit, and a control unit. The control unit (i) acquires tag IDs of one or more RFID tags present in a communicable range of the communication unit, (ii) transmits a light emission instruction to at least some of the RFID tags corresponding to the acquired tag IDs, (iii) measures a distance between the imaging unit and a position where the light emitting unit emits light based on the light emission instruction on the basis of imaging information of the imaging unit, and (iv) performs a predetermined operation on the RFID tag to which the light emission instruction is transmitted, in a case where it is determined that the distance is within a predetermined range.

Tag communication device, control method thereof, and control program

A tag communication device performing radio communication with an RFID tag includes a light emitting unit. The tag communication device includes a communication unit, an imaging unit, and a control unit. The control unit (i) acquires a tag ID of RFID tags present in the communicable range of the communication unit, (ii) transmits a light emission instruction to some of RFID tags corresponding to the acquired tag ID, (iii) determines presence/absence of light emission of the light emitting unit based on the light emission instruction within an imaging area of the imaging unit on the basis of a result of imaging acquired by the imaging unit, and (iv) performs a predetermined operation for an RFID tag to which the light emission instruction has been transmitted in a case in which it is determined that light emission of the light emitting unit based on the light emission instruction is present.

There has been a demand for a technique of expanding a communicable range as much as possible without increasing the time required for communication between an RF tag and a communication device. A communication device includes: a terminal electrically connected with an antenna; a transmitter electrically connected with the terminal and configured to generate a first radio signal superimposed with a predetermined command signal and transmit the first radio signal from the antenna; an amplifier electrically connected with the terminal and configured to receive from the antenna a second radio signal generated by an RF tag receiving the first radio signal; a detector configured to detect intensity of the signal having been amplified by the amplifier; and a suppressor configured to suppress the intensity of the amplified signal to be inputted into the detector such that the intensity does not exceed a predetermined upper limit.
