An antenna device includes a ground plate, a patch portion disposed parallel to the ground plate with a particular spacing, a plurality of short circuit portions that electrically connect the patch portion to the ground plate, and a loop portion which is a loop shaped conductor member at a particular spacing from an outer edge portion of the patch portion. The patch portion has an area which forms an electrostatic capacitance that causes parallel resonance with an inductance provided by the short circuit portions at a particular target frequency. The loop portion is formed with a perimeter length which is an integral multiple of the wavelength of radio waves at the target frequency. A feed point is disposed on the loop portion, and current is supplied to the patch portion through the loop portion.

Antenna device

An antenna device includes a ground part, a patch part disposed parallel to the ground part to oppose the ground part, a short-circuit part electrically connecting the patch part and the ground part, a patch area expansion part and a ground area expansion part. The patch area expansion part is provided on a patch-side opposing surface that is a surface of the patch part opposing the ground part to expand an effective surface area that is an apparent area of the patch-side opposing surface with respect to the ground part. The ground area expansion part is provided in a region opposing the patch area expansion part on a ground-side opposing surface that is a surface of the ground part opposing the patch part to expand an effective surface area of the ground-side opposing surface with respect to the patch part.

An emergency notification apparatus includes: a position detector that sequentially detects a position of a subject vehicle; a notification portion that issues an emergency notification; a map information acquisition portion that acquires map information around the subject vehicle; and a correction portion that sequentially corrects the position of the subject vehicle by sequentially performing map matching. The notification portion issues the emergency notification that includes the position of the subject vehicle corrected by the correction portion in a case where the state of emergency of the subject vehicle has been caused in the subject vehicle, and also in a case where the correction portion sequentially corrects the position of the subject vehicle.

Emergency notification apparatus

A transparent window plate is provided with a plurality of defogging heat wires arranged to have a side parallel with a first direction. The transparent window plate includes: a plurality of repetitive patterns that are arranged between one of the plurality of defogging heat wires and an adjacent one of the plurality of defogging heat wires so as to be not in contact with the plurality of defogging heat wires, and each of the plurality of repetitive patterns having at least one side parallel with the plurality of defogging heat wires. The plurality of repetitive patterns are aligned along the first direction; and the plurality of repetitive patterns are repetitively arranged along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

An antenna device includes a rectangular conductor pattern that is disposed substantially in parallel to a ground plate at a predetermined distance, a short-circuit portion that electrically connects the conductor pattern to the ground plate, a first feeding point for transmitting and receiving a signal of a first frequency, and a second feeding point for transmitting and receiving a signal of a second frequency. An electric length of one side of the conductor pattern is set to half a wavelength of the second frequency. The short-circuit portion is disposed in the center portion of the conductor pattern, and an area of the conductor pattern forms a capacitance that resonates in parallel with an inductance provided in the short-circuit portion at the first frequency.

An antenna device includes a first conductive plate in a board shape, a second conductive plate in a board shape, a short-circuiting section, and a connecting section. The second conductive plate is disposed to face the first conductive plate with a space therebetween. The short-circuiting section is disposed between the first conductive plate and the second conductive plate, has a housing space housing an electronic component, and is connected to both the first conductive plate and the second conductive plate. The connecting section extends from the electronic component disposed inside the short-circuiting section toward the outside of the short-circuiting section without being electrically connected to the short-circuiting section and the first conductive plate, and extends between the first conductive plate and the second conductive plate from the outside of the short-circuiting section without being electrically connected to the first conductive plate, to be electrically connected to the second conductive plate.

An antenna device includes a base plate, an opposing conductor plate, a short-circuiting portion, a power-feed point, and at least one second-frequency electric-field impeding element provided to the opposing conductor plate, the base plate, or between the opposing conductor plate and the base plate. The second-frequency electric-field impeding element impedes a propagation of an electric field being vertical to the base plate and heading from the short-circuiting portion toward an outer edge portion of the opposing conductor plate, is induced at a second frequency higher than the first frequency, does not impede a propagation of the electric field induced at the first frequency, and is disposed such that an electrical area of the opposing conductor plate for a signal at the second frequency is an area of a proper size to generate an electrostatic capacitance that undergoes parallel resonance with the inductance of the short-circuiting portion at the second frequency.

The present disclosure provides a driving assistance system and a vehicle-mounted device. Each vehicle-mounted device broadcasts own vehicle information, and transmits wide area vehicle information to a center. The wide area vehicle information includes the vehicle information and VIN of the own vehicle. The center receives the wide area vehicle information, and stores the vehicle information and the VIN in a correlated manner in a center end database. The vehicle-mounted device transmits an appearance information request signal to the center. The appearance information request signal includes generation time and location information of a different vehicle. The center specifies, based on the generation time and the location information included in the appearance information request signal, the VIN of the vehicle requested by the vehicle-mounted device, and acquires the appearance information related to the specified VIN by searching the appearance information database, and then transmits the appearance information to the vehicle-mounted device.

Driving assistance system and vehicle-mounted device

A CPU of a mobile telephone can carry out both a standby operation for monitoring an incoming call addressed to the mobile telephone and an image processing operation for processing an image captured by a camera. When a camera-dedicated mode is selected, the standby operation is prohibited during an image capture operation of the camera. When the image captured by the camera is processed, negative effects of the standby operation on the process of the image captured by the camera can be avoided. In this manner, the image captured by the camera can be smoothly, appropriately processed, enhancing the operability of the mobile telephone.

Mobile terminal and program executed therein

A PDC/PHS phone has both PDC communication function and PHS communication function. The PDC/PHS phone receives a call from a PHS phone through a PHS communication network when it is in the communication with a PDC phone through a PDC communication network. The PDC/PHS phone changes its connection to the PHS communication network to transmit to the PHS phone a fixed answer message indicating that it is in the middle of communication with the PDC phone. The fixed answer message may be transmitted automatically or in response to a predetermined key operation of a user of the PDC/PHS phone. The communication with the PDC phone may be continued irrespective of the call from the PHS phone, or a new communication with the PHS phone may be enabled in response to another predetermined key operation of the user while holding the communication with the PDC phone to be resumed later.
