The development container includes a pair of side frames, and a pair of side wall portions. In each of the pair of side wall portions, a seal member insertion hole extending through in the rotation-axial direction is formed at a position facing an end edge of the restricting blade in the rotation-axial direction. The developing device includes a blade-side side seal inserted in the seal member insertion hole to block a gap between the restricting blade and the side wall portion.

With the cover member fitted to the development container, a gap is formed between each reinforcing rib and the development container.

The developer carrying member has a developing area. The blade seal member includes a first layer material and a second layer material. The development casing has facing surfaces. The second layer material has positioning protrusions protruding from the first layer material in a rotation axis direction at positions inside both ends of the first layer material in the rotation axis direction, so as to contact the facing surfaces and be positioned in the rotation axis direction. When the second layer material is positioned in the rotation axis direction, the first layer material is pressed in contact with the pressing members in the rotation axis direction.

A developing device includes a development casing, a developer carrying member, and a regulating blade. The development casing has an opening part. The developer carrying member has a developing area. The development casing has a blade facing part. The regulating blade includes a fixed part and a regulating part, and a space between the regulating part and the blade facing part is larger than a space between the fixed part and the blade facing part. The developing device further includes a blade seal member. The blade seal member is disposed between the regulating blade and the blade facing part, and is glued to an upstream side surface of the regulating part in the rotation direction, so as to seal a gap between the regulating blade and the blade facing part.

A first connector is provided in a main body portion. A connector support mechanism is provided in an attachment unit and supports a second connector so that the second connector can be displaced along a second direction that intersects a first direction. A unit guide portion guides the attachment unit between a connection position and a position that is more separated from a main body portion than the connection position is, along the first direction, and further guides the attachment unit between the connection position and an attachment position. The connection position is a position at which the attachment unit is located when the second connector is connected to the first connector. The connector support mechanism allows the attachment unit to move between the connection position and the attachment position.

Image forming apparatus

A toner conveying device conveys toner supplied from outside. The toner conveying device includes a housing, a plurality of toner acceptors, a plurality of legs, a bracket, and a vibration generator. The housing has a toner conveyance path inside. The toner acceptors are provided on the housing to accept toner supplied from outside and guide the toner to the toner conveyance path. The legs are fixed near the toner acceptors on the housing, respectively, and protrude outward from a side surface of the housing. The bracket is supported by each of the legs. The vibration generator is attached to the bracket.

A toner case includes a case main body, a rotator, a transmitter and a shutter. The case main body has a discharge port through which a toner is discharged. The rotator is stored in the case main body and rotates around a rotation axis. The transmitter transmits rotation to the rotator. At least a part of the transmitter is exposed to an outside of the case main body. The shutter is rotatable between a closing position where the shutter closes the discharge port and an opening position where the shutter opens the discharge port. The transmitter is movable between a first position and a second position which is arranged at an outside of the first position in a rotation axis direction of the rotator. The transmitter moves from the first position to the second position as the shutter rotates from the closing position to the opening position.

Toner case and image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus includes a toner case and an attachment part. The toner case includes a discharge shutter movable between a first closing position where a discharge port is closed and a first opening position where the discharge port is opened. The attachment part includes a replenishment shutter movable between a second closing position where a replenishment port is closed and a second opening position where the replenishment port is opened. As the discharge shutter moves from the first closing position to the first opening position, the discharge shutter presses the replenishment shutter to move the replenishment shutter from the second closing position to the second opening position. As the discharge shutter moves from the first opening position to the first closing position, the discharge shutter presses the replenishment shutter to move the replenishment shutter from the second opening position to the second closing position.

Image forming apparatus and toner case

A toner case includes a case main body, a rotator, a transmitter and a turner. The rotator is stored in the case main body and rotates around a rotation axis. The transmitter transmits rotation to the rotator. A part of the transmitter is exposed to an outside of the case main body. The turner is provided at an outside of the case main body in a rotation axis direction. The turner is turnable between a first posture and a second posture. At least a part of the turner is moved to an outside in the rotation axis direction as the turner turns from the first posture to the second posture. The transmitter moves from a first position to a second position which is arranged at an outside of the first position in the rotation axis direction as the turner turns from the first posture to the second posture.

Toner cartridge

A toner container includes a container main body, a cylindrical portion, an opening/closing member, and a conveyance member. Container main body includes a storing chamber. Opening/closing member is provided in a inner space of cylindrical portion and, operates to open and close a toner discharge outlet of cylindrical portion. Conveyance member includes rotation shaft and blades along rotation shaft and when rotated, allows blades to convey the toner that is present inside storing chamber and the inner space toward toner discharge outlet. The plurality of blades include a first blade and a second blade. First blade is disposed in storing chamber at a position near a boundary between storing chamber and the inner space and is larger in outer diameter than the other blades. Second blade is disposed in the inner space and is larger than first blade in inclination angle with respect to rotation shaft of conveyance member.
