An electronic apparatus includes a first chassis, a second chassis, a display having a bending region, a support component with a support surface which supports the bending region and has a step on the support surface, a first movable component, and a second movable component. A first sheet-like member that has flexibility, extends along a longitudinal direction of the support component, and one edge portion is disposed between the bending region and the support surface, and the other edge portion is fixed to the first surface; and a second sheet-like member that has flexibility, extends along the longitudinal direction of the support component, and one edge portion is disposed between the bending region and the support surface to face the one edge portion of the first sheet-like member, and the other edge portion is fixed to the second surface.

An electronic apparatus includes: a first chassis member that has a first edge portion; a second chassis member that has a second edge portion adjacent to the first edge portion, and is adjacent to the first chassis member; a hinge device that connects the first chassis member and the second chassis member so as to be relatively rotatable between a first posture in which the first chassis member and the second chassis member are laminated so as to overlap each other in a surface normal direction and a second posture in which the first chassis member and the second chassis member are aligned in a direction perpendicular to the surface normal direction; and a cover component that is disposed so as to straddle the first edge portion and the second edge portion.

An electronic apparatus includes a first chassis member, a second chassis member, first plate supported by the first chassis member, second plate supported by the second chassis member and aligned with a gap between the first plate and the second plate, display formed in a sheet shape having flexibility, first fastening portion that fixes the first plate to the first chassis member, and second fastening portion that fixes the second plate to the second chassis member. The first plate has a protruding portion that protrudes from a rear surface, and the first chassis member has a wall portion that faces the protruding portion. A stopper member is interposed between the protruding portion and the wall portion and restricts relative movement of the first plate with respect to the first chassis member in an alignment direction of the first plate and the second plate.

Electronic apparatus and method for manufacturing electronic apparatus

An electronic apparatus includes the first chassis and the second chassis which are relatively and rotatably connected, a flexible board provided astride between the first chassis and the second chassis, and a graphite sheet stacked on the flexible board. The flexible board and the graphite sheet have a substantially S-shaped extra length absorption portion formed in at least one of the first chassis and the second chassis and having a first folding portion and a second folding portion which are curved in directions opposite to each other, are fixed to each other at a front and rear of the extra length absorption portion, and are fixed to each other at an intermediate portion between the first folding portion and the second folding portion, excluding the first folding portion and the second folding portion, by an adhesive tape.

An electronic apparatus includes a hinge device that connects a first chassis member and a second chassis member to be relatively rotatable, a rear cover component that is disposed to fill a space between a first end portion of the first chassis member and a second end portion of the second chassis member separated from each other in a first posture, and a sheet member that has flexibility, is provided to straddle between the rear cover component and an inner surface of the first chassis member and an inner surface of the second chassis member, and covers a gap between the rear cover component and the first end portion and a gap between the rear cover component and the second end portion.

An electronic apparatus includes a first chassis, a second chassis, a hinge device having a movable portion applied with a lubricant and connecting the first chassis and the second chassis relatively rotatably, a spine part made of a thermal conductive material, a first thermal conductive member which is provided on an inner surface of the first chassis and contacts the spine part at a position not to overlap with the movable portion at a second posture, and a second thermal conductive member which is provided on an inner surface of the second chassis and contacts the spine part at a position not to overlap with the movable portion at the second posture.

An electronic apparatus has: a tray holding a communication card; a card socket accommodating the tray; an eject mechanism that ejects the tray in response to an operation of inserting a pin; a cover which is provided integrally with the tray and in which an eject hole through which the pin is inserted to operate the eject mechanism is formed; a reset switch for resetting a system in response to the operation of inserting the pin; and a reset hole into which the pin is inserted to operate the reset switch. The card socket and the reset switch are provided adjacently to a position along a first edge of a flat rectangular chassis, and the reset hole is covered by the cover while the tray is in the card socket.

An electronic apparatus includes a cover fixed with an adhesive tape along an edge of a first chassis, a female screw hole formed on a side wall, and a protruding portion protruding from an inner surface of the cover. The protruding portion has an inclined surface that is located on an extension of the female screw hole and of which a protrusion amount increases in a direction away from the side wall. A removal screw includes a head, a male screw portion protruding from the head and screwed into the female screw hole, a cylindrical portion having a diameter smaller than that of the male screw portion and further protruding from the male screw portion, and a spherical surface portion forming a tip end of the cylindrical portion.

Electronic apparatus, removal screw, and cover removing method

The electronic apparatus includes a first chassis equipped with a first electronic component, a second chassis equipped with a second electronic component, a hinge device that relatively rotatably connects the first chassis and the second chassis, and a flexible board provided over the first chassis and the second chassis and connecting the first electronic component and the second electronic component. The flexible board has a first folded portion and a second folded portion that are disposed in order and curved in opposite directions to each other in the first chassis.

The electronic apparatus has: a flat-shaped main body chassis provided with a motherboard; a switch provided at an end portion of the motherboard; a button for pressing an actuator of the switch; a restriction section that restricts the button from rotating around a contact portion when the button presses the actuator; and a button opening formed in a side wall of the main body chassis at a position shifted to a higher level than the switch. The button includes: an operation section exposed through the button opening; an arm portion that extends to a position facing the actuator; and a fin piece that protrudes. The restriction section is provided in such a manner as to face the fin piece at a position vertically shifted to a lower level then the fin piece.

An electronic apparatus includes: a first chassis and a second chassis; a hinge connecting the second chassis to the first chassis in a relatively rotatable manner; an electrical device including a display provided in the first chassis; a printed circuit board provided in the second chassis; and a flexible substrate for electrically connecting the electrical device and the printed circuit board, the first chassis including a rotating body that rotates coaxially with the hinge by a rotational movement with respect to the second chassis and has the flexible substrate passed therethrough, and the rotating body including: a first opening guiding the flexible substrate to the electrical device; a second opening guiding the flexible substrate to the printed circuit board; and a substrate opening through which the flexible substrate passes.

A portable information device includes a chassis with a heating element housed inside, and a cover device which covers the back surface of the chassis. The cover device has a core material, a graphite sheet laminated on the surface of the core material, an auxiliary sheet laminated on the surface of the graphite sheet and softer than the core material, and a surface material laminated on the surface of the auxiliary sheet to form the surface of the cover device and softer than the auxiliary sheet.

Portable information device and cover device

A method for manufacturing a display device that can prevent deformation of a flexible display is provided. A raw material sheet that serves as a metal sheet of the flexible display has a width that is greater than a width of the display body in Y direction and a plurality of holes are provided in a bent area of the raw material sheet over an entire width along a bent section of the display body. The method includes: mounting the display body on the raw material sheet such that the bent section and the bent area are aligned and that the display body avoids the end portions in the Y direction; applying pressure to the display body from a central part of the display body toward a periphery of the display body; and cutting the raw material sheet into a predetermined size.

Method for manufacturing a display device

A portable information device capable of supporting a display is described. The portable information device includes a first chassis member and a second chassis member connected mutually rotatable, a first support plate that supports a display on the side of the first chassis member, a second support plate that supports the display on the side of the second chassis member, a first locking member including a first fixing portion to be fixed to the rear face of the first support plate with adhesive, and a first locking piece projecting from one end face of the first support plate, the first locking piece being configured to come in contact with and separate from the rear face of the second support plate. The first support plate includes a first contact face with which the first locking member comes in contact and a first adhesive face that fixes the first locking member with the adhesive. The first adhesive face is recessed from the first contact face by a thickness of the adhesive.

Portable information device

A portable information device includes: a first chassis, a second chassis adjacent to the first chassis, and a hinge device that relatively rotatably connects the first chassis and the second chassis. The hinge device includes: a first torque generating part that generates a rotation torque in relative rotation of a first base plate and a first link plate by sliding resistance between the first base plate and the first link plate, and a second torque generating part that generates a rotation torque in relative rotation of a second base plate and a second link plate by sliding resistance between the second base plate and the second link plate.
