A mower unit includes a plurality of blade mechanisms each having a blade and a blade shaft fixed to the blade for supporting the blade, pulleys and a belt for transmitting drive among the blade mechanisms, a plate-like support frame for interconnecting the blade mechanisms through intermediate members, a mower deck, and vibration proofing rubber elements disposed between the mower deck and the blade mechanisms.

Lawn mower

A propelling apparatus for a vehicle switchable between a four wheel drive mode and a two wheel drive mode. The apparatus comprises a hydraulic pump for driving hydraulic motors associated with front wheels and rear wheels, respectively. A shutoff valve is provided on oil lines extending between the hydraulic pump and one of the hydraulic motors, e.g. the motor associated with the front wheels. The shutoff valve is operable to establish the two wheel drive mode for driving only the rear wheels. A pumping preventive device prevents the hydraulic motor associated with the front wheels from effecting pumping action due to power transmitted from the front wheels when the shutoff valve is operated.

Vehicle propelling apparatus

A riding lawn mower comprises a grass cutting unit and a blade housing movable between a substantially horizontal mowing position and an upturned servicing position. The blade housing is suspended by a raising and lowering link mechanism having one end connected to the blade housing and the other end connected to a vehicle body. The blade housing, when raised, is pivotable backward about a connection thereof to the raising and lowering link mechanism, to expose cutting blades mounted therein. This servicing position is maintained by a prop link pivotally connected to one end to the raising and lowering link mechanism, and connectable at the other end to a bracket formed on the housing.

A two-axle four-wheel power vehicle is equipped between the front and rear wheels with a mower which comprises a plurality of cutters each rotatable about a vertical axis. The cutters are power-driven, and the clippings of grass thereby cut are discharged from an opening provided at one side of the vehicle body. The discharge opening is provided with an impeller power-driven about a lateral axis for transferring the discharged grass clippings through a duct to a collection box attached to the vehicle.

A dumping apparatus for a grass catcher for rearwardly inclining the grass catcher containing grass clipping to discharge the grass clippings. The apparatus includes a guide member and a movable member mounted in the guide member, a restraining member for restraining the movement of the catcher and a bracket fixed to a rear face of the catcher. A leading end of the movable member is pivoted at a longitudinally intermediate position of the bracket and a leading end of the restraining member is pivoted at a rear upper position of the bracket, whereby the grass catcher may be moved and inclined for the dumping action.

A power vehicle is equipped with a mower which has cutters, a clipping passage for transporting grass clippings therethrough to one side of the mower, and an impeller accommodated in a housing and mounted on a lateral shaft. The housing has an outer side plate supporting the shaft and positioned closer to the center of the vehicle at its rear end than at its front end and is thereby diminished in the amount of projection. The impeller is driven by a shaft transmission coupled to a belt transmission for driving the cutters and by a belting transmission. The belting transmission includes a pulley coupled to the shaft transmission, a pulley attached to the outer end of the lateral shaft, and a belt reeved around the pulleys and drivingly movable in parallel to the outer side plate of the housing outside thereof.

A frame has mounted thereon an engine and a speed change unit arranged adjacent to each other widewise of the frame to provide a vehicle body. The vehicle body has a front axle supporting a pair of front wheels thereon, a rear axle supporting at least one steering rear wheel, a mount assembly at its front portion for attaching thereto a mower having at least one cutter, and a clipping container mounted on its rear portion. From a clipping outlet formed in the rear portion of the mower, a duct extends rearward generally horizontally under the front axle, is bent upward behind one of the front wheels and is connected to the clipping container.

A working vehicle comprising a vehicle body having a pair of front wheels and a pair of rear wheels, at least the rear wheels being drivingly rotatable and steerable, a working machine provided at the front end of the vehicle body, and a steering wheel and a seat which are disposed in the vicinity of the front wheels at the front portion of the body. The rear wheels can be steered between a forwardly directed position and a laterally directed position about a vertical axis approximately at the midportion between the pair of front wheels. The vehicle can make a quick turn with a small radius without subjecting the operator to a great centrifugal force.

Working vehicle

A device for a boom-type working implement which has a working member and a connector both attached to a boom and which is connectable to a tractor by the connector. The device comprises a stand member having one end pivoted to the boom and the other end provided with a ground engaging portion, and a connecting member having one end pivoted to the stand member and the other end pivoted to the boom. The stand member can be held by the connecting member at an angle with the boom, with the ground engaging portion positioned to the rear of and spaced apart from the working member. The stand member can be held to the boom coextensively therewith by disengageable means.

A device for connecting a rotary tiller unit, plow or like working implement directly to a tractor by three-point link system comprises connectors each including a connecting rod and a hitch pin to be inserted into a hitch hole at the rear end of the three-point link system. The connectors are mounted fixedly on a front portion of the working implement but are slidable laterally of the implement and mountable in their reversed position, whereby the working implement is connectable to the tractor in tandem or in offset arrangement, interchangeably between the tandem and offset positions.
