A remote controller () for watercraft () includes a rod () extending downward from the free end part of a lever along a lengthwise direction thereof, a lock release button () slidably provided in the free end part so as to be slidable in a first direction different from the lengthwise direction of the lever, and a conversion mechanism provided between the lock release button and the first end of the rod to covert a movement of the lock release button in the first direction to a movement of the rod in a second direction extending along the lengthwise direction of the lever.

A clutch structure includes a rotary shaft, a cylinder, and a clutch. An outer peripheral fitting surface of the rotary shaft includes an engagement groove. The engagement groove extends in an axial direction along a rotation axis of the rotary shaft. A clutch cover of the clutch includes an engagement protrusion. The engagement protrusion protrudes inwardly in a radial direction with respect to the rotation axis from an inner peripheral surface of an annular inner edge of the clutch cover. The engagement protrusion engages in the engagement groove to hinder the clutch cover from rotating about the rotation axis relative to the rotary shaft.

Clutch structure

There is provided a brake assembly structure for a transmission. An automatic transmission includes a torque converter, a transmission case, and a two-way clutch and a first brake which are accommodated in the transmission case and adjacent to each other. The first brake includes a drum, an outer plate that is fixed to the drum in such a manner that the outer plate is unrotatable with respect to the drum, an inner disk that comes in contact with the outer plate in an axial direction, and a hub to which the inner disk is fixed in such a manner that relative rotation is not permitted. The drum is provided separately from the transmission case and includes a hydraulic chamber. The two-way clutch is assembled in the transmission case and the first brake is then assembled in the transmission case.

To provide a method for hydrotreating a synthetic hydrocarbon oil, which removes olefins and oxygen-containing compounds by hydrotreatment with the gasification rate restrained and can efficiently convert the synthetic hydrocarbon oil generated by the FT process to a liquid fuel suitable as a fuel for diesel-powered vehicles. A hydrotreating method is disclosed in which a synthetic hydrocarbon oil generated by FT synthesis is hydrotreated using a catalyst in which a definite catalytic metal is allowed to be carried on a support, under definite reaction conditions, with the gasification rate restrained to a definite value or less, thereby removing the olefins and the oxygen-containing compounds.

Hydrotreating method

An intake/exhaust valve seal structure for an internal combustion engine is disclosed. A sealing surface is formed by a valve seat surface in a ceiling of a combustion chamber and a valve face surface provided on an intake/exhaust valve. The sealing surface lies on a first conical surface having an axis of the intake/exhaust valve as its rotation axis and includes a line of intersection of the first conical surface with an inner wall face of the ceiling of the combustion chamber. A method for manufacturing the intake/exhaust valve is also disclosed.

A fuel oil composition for use in a spark ignition engine, which comprises conventional gasoline for spark ignition engine use and a compound selected from the group consisting of an alkynyl alcohol, alkynyl ether, alkynyl ketone, alkenyl aldehyde or an acetal thereof, furan or a furan compound, and an alkenyl ether. The gasoline composition for fuel use renders possible improvement of flame propagation speed over a broad range of fuel/air ratios, easy optimization of the ignition timing of a spark ignition engine, improvement of engine output power independently of operation conditions, improvement of ignitability without using metal components when a spark ignition engine is operated with a lean or rich fuel-air mixture, and reduction of cycle fluctuation caused by the variation in the formation of fuel-air mixture which occurs even at the time of normal operation, thereby repressing fluctuations in indicated mean effective pressure, maximum cylinder pressure and the like independently of changes in the fuel/air ratio.
