A machining simulator that virtually executes a CNC program to simulate a machining result, includes: a 3D model generating unit that virtually executes a plurality of CNC programs to generate a 3D model from respective machining results obtained; a reference position specifying unit that specifies a predetermined coordinate common to a generated plurality of 3D models as a reference position; a superimposed model generating unit that generates a superimposed model in which a plurality of 3D models is superimposed at the reference position; a finite difference model generating unit that generates a finite difference model obtained by taking a finite difference of the 3D models included in the superimposed model generated; and a display control unit that controls display of at least one of the superimposed model generated and the finite difference model.

Machining simulator and storage medium encoded with machining simulation program

A numerical controller is provided with a control unit configured to control a machine tool and acquire feedback data in relative positions of a tool and a workpiece, a machining simulation unit configured to perform simulation processing for machining based on a machining program and create the shape of the machined workpiece, and a display unit configured to display the machined workpiece shape created by the machining simulation unit. The machining simulation unit performs machining simulation processing using the feedback data acquired by the control unit, in place of relative movement paths for the tool and the workpiece based on a command by the machining program.

Numerical controller

An information processing device controls operation trouble or a calculation amount related to a machine interference check by automatically creating a three-dimensional model optimal for the machine interference check. The information processing device optimizes, for the interference check, three-dimensional model data of a machine including a plurality of structures. The information processing device includes a check object selection unit that performs selection among the structures, and a model creating unit that creates three-dimensional model data for an interference check which data includes the selected structure. Since the information processing device can generate three-dimensional model data optimized for an interference check, there is no trouble for a user to create new three-dimensional model data by himself/herself, and a simple and effective interference check can be realized.
