To provide a fastening member configured to fasten a hollow member including a first wall and a second wall, the first wall and the second wall facing each other, and another member having a screw hole. The fastening member includes a bolt having a screw portion to be inserted through a second hole provided on the second wall and to be screwed into the screw hole, and a case to be inserted into a first hole provided on the first wall, the case being configured to accommodate the bolt. While the case is inserted into the first hole, a tool used for a task of fastening the bolt is inserted into the case from a side of the first wall opposite to the other side of the first wall facing the second wall.

Provided is a printer, which serves as an information processing device and which includes: a housing; a cover including a first surface, in which an opening is formed, the cover being configured to pivot about an axis of a first rotating shaft parallel to the first surface; and a touch panel, which is to be located in the opening when the cover is in a closed state in which the cover covers the housing. The cover includes a frame between an edge of the first surface and the opening.

A printer includes a board including a connector to which a cable is connected, and a housing covering the board and having an opening through which the connector is accessible, wherein a cable gripping portion that is gripped when the cable is connected is located outside the opening in a state where the cable is connected to the connector, and in which the housing includes a connector cover movable to a cover position at which the connector cover covers an upper side and a lateral side of the cable gripping portion, and an open position at which the connector cover opens at least on a vertical upper side of the cable gripping portion.

Printer with cover to protect connection of external cables

A information processing device includes an operating panel that includes an operating surface on which an input operation can be performed, and a housing that includes an exterior surface and to which a rotation shaft rotatably supporting the operating panel is coupled. The operating panel includes an exposed surface where the operating panel is exposed, the exposed surface being flush with the exterior surface when the operating panel is in a housed position in which the operating panel is housed in the housing. The operating panel includes a pressing surface at one end and a following surface at another end of the exposed surface with the rotation shaft being a boundary therebetween in plan view of the exposed surface when the operating panel is in the housed position. When the pressing surface is pressed, the operating panel is rotated, and the following surface protrudes outward from the exterior surface.

A leg unit includes a positioning pin projecting from an upper surface of a seat plate thereof, and an image forming unit includes a positioning hole formed on a mounting surface thereof. Delimiting portions project downward from the lower ends of left and right lateral faces of the image forming unit. The delimiting portions oppose respective outer lateral faces of the seat plate so as to restrict a relative movement of the image forming unit. A projecting portion is provided on the outer lateral face of the seat plate. The positioning pin can be fitted in the positioning hole by engaging the projecting portion with a recess of the delimiting portion. The delimiting portion includes a stopper formed on the respective sides of the recess in the longitudinal direction thereof, for restricting the sliding motion of the projecting portion along the lower end face of the delimiting portion.

A housing body includes a first part forming a part of a first transporting path in which a medium is transported. An image forming unit is accommodated in the housing body and is adapted to form an image onto at least one face of the medium. A door cover is attached to the housing body, and the door cover includes a second part adapted to face the first part when the door cover is closed, thereby forming the part of the first transporting path together with the first part. A double-sided printing unit is detachably mounted to the second part and includes a second transporting path. The second transporting path is connected to the first transporting path and is adapted to transport the medium while turning inside out, so that the image forming unit forms images on both sides of the medium.
