A robot includes a robot arm having a first member rotatably provided on a base, a second member rotatably provided on the first member, a third member rotatably provided on the second member, and a fourth member rotatably provided on the third member. The fourth member has an arm rotatable about a rotation axis in an axis direction different from an axis direction of a rotation axis of the first member with respect to the base. In a first state, the first member, the second member, and the third member overlap. In a second state, at least one of a distal end of the robot arm and an end effector provided on the distal end of the robot arm overlaps with the second member.

Robot and robot system

A robot has an operation mode setting unit that sets an operation mode of the robot. The operation mode setting unit changes a correction factor multiplied by the maximum acceleration and the maximum deceleration of an arm and the servo gain of a servo circuit, and thereby selectively sets the operation mode to one of a first operation mode, a second operation mode in which the arm operates faster than in the first operation mode, and a third operation mode in which the arm vibrates less than in the first operation mode.

A handler includes a base having an opening portion, a first hand which transports a transport target, a first transport section which transports the first hand to above the opening portion and moves the first hand down, a second hand which transports the transport target, a second transport section which transports the second hand to above the opening portion and moves the second hand down, and a control section which controls an operation of the first transport section and an operation of the second transport section. The handler has a state where the first hand and the second hand are disposed in parallel to the opening portion while being close to each other toward above the opening portion.

The adjuster corrects the component's position based on the relative positions.

Component transferring apparatus and IC handler

A component transport apparatus includes: a transport hand including a plurality of index units each one of which is capable of holding a component; a movable body that moves the transport hand; and a plurality of functional stations on which the components are mounted. The index units function to mount the components on the functional stations. The functional stations are spaced apart at intervals along a movement direction of the transport hand. The index units are spaced apart at intervals equal to the intervals at which the functional stations are spaced apart along the movement direction of the transport hand.

Component test apparatus and component transport method

A component test apparatus performing a test on an electronic component is disclosed. The component test apparatus includes a component loading device, a transport hand, and a component unloading device. A plurality of functional stations have mutually different functions and are spaced apart at equal intervals along a movement direction of the transport hand. The transport hand has a plurality of index units that are capable of holding the electronic component independently from one another and operating independently from one another. The index units are spaced apart at intervals equal to the intervals at which the functional stations are spaced apart along a transport direction of the electronic component from a loading position toward a test position.

A component test apparatus performing a test on an electronic component is disclosed. The component test apparatus includes a component loading device, a transport hand, and a component unloading device. The transport hand includes a plurality of index units each one of which is capable of holding the electronic component and operating independently from the other ones of the index units. The index units are aligned adjacently in a transport direction of the electronic component extending from a loading position at which the component loading device loads the electronic component toward a test position at which a test socket is provided.

A new parts handling apparatus is provided which can shorten the index time and increase working ability without increasing the number of components and can restrict the rise of manufacturing cost. X driving member to be moved rightward and leftward in correlation to the rotation of a ball screw by a servomotor is provided with a pair of right and left movable members mounted movably in the Z direction. Two contact hands are attached to each movable member through aligning mechanisms respectively. Each movable member is provided with a Z driving member mounted slidably in the X direction. The Z driving member is engaged with a ball screw , and the ball screw is connected to a servomotor . When the ball screw is rotated by the servomotor , the Z driving member moves vertically in the figure, thereby also moving the movable member vertically.

Parts handling method

A new parts handling apparatus is provided which can shorten the index time and increase working ability without increasing the number of components and can restrict the rise of manufacturing cost. X driving member 12 to be moved rightward and leftward in correlation to the rotation of a ball screw 2 by a servomotor 1 is provided with a pair of right and left movable members 7 mounted movably in the Z direction. Two contact hands 5 are attached to each movable member 7 through aligning mechanisms 8 respectively. Each movable member 7 is provided with a Z driving member 6 mounted slidably in the X direction. The Z driving member 6 is engaged with a ball screw 4, and the ball screw 4 is connected to a servomotor 3. When the ball screw 4 is rotated by the servomotor 3, the Z driving member 6 moves vertically in the figure, thereby also moving the movable member 7 vertically.

Parts handling apparatus

A switch structure for an electronic timepiece including a multi-position external operational member is provided. The structure includes a click lever and a switch lever, each operationally engaged with the external operational member. Rotation of the external operational member pivots the switch lever for making a first switching connection. Axial displacement of the external operational member shifts the switch lever for making a second switching action upon operation of the external operational member. In a digital electronic timepiece including the switch structure, adjustment of time may be made when the click lever is in a first position and a calendar adjustment may be made once the click lever is in a second position.
