An electromagnetic wave sensor cover includes a cover body. The cover body includes a base layer made of synthetic resin and permitting passage of an electromagnetic wave, one or more metal oxide layers permitting passage of the electromagnetic wave and being conductive, one or more low refractive index layers permitting passage of the electromagnetic wave and made of material that has a lower refractive index than material of the metal oxide layer, and two electrodes. The base layer includes a front surface and a rear surface in a transmission direction of the electromagnetic wave. The metal oxide layer and the low refractive index layer are laminated adjacent to each other in the transmission direction. A laminate of the metal oxide layer and the low refractive index layer is laminated on the front surface or the rear surface of the base layer.

Electromagnetic wave sensor cover

A display device includes a light-transmitting portion, a display light source arranged at an inner side of the light-transmitting portion, and a housing including an opening. The housing accommodates the display light source and the light-transmitting portion is arranged in the opening. The light-transmitting portion includes a transparent plastic base member, a first color exhibiting layer containing dye or pigment, and a second color exhibiting layer containing a filler made of a cold mirror thin film. The first color exhibiting layer has a transmittance of 20% or more for light having a specific wavelength. The second color exhibiting layer has a reflectance of 80% or less for light having a wavelength not absorbed by the dye or the pigment of the first color exhibiting layer and a transmittance of 60% or more for light having a wavelength absorbed by the dye or the pigment of the first color exhibiting layer.

Display device

An electromagnetic wave sensor cover, applied to an electromagnetic wave sensor including a transmission unit and a reception unit, includes a cover main body portion that covers the transmission unit and the reception unit. The cover main body portion includes: a base material formed of a resin material and having a transmission property of an electromagnetic wave from the transmission unit; an undercoat layer formed on a rear surface of the base material and having the transmission property of the electromagnetic wave from the transmission unit; a heater portion that is formed of copper in a band shape on a rear surface of the undercoat layer, is configured to generate heat by being energized, and adheres to the base material via the undercoat layer; and a SiOcoating film having the transmission property of the electromagnetic wave from the transmission unit and covering the heater portion.

An infrared transmissive product includes a body. The body is configured to cover a transmitting unit and a receiving unit for infrared rays in an infrared sensor. The body includes a base made of a transparent plastic having an infrared transmissivity, and a coating film layer that is formed on a rear surface of the base in a transmission direction of infrared rays from the transmitting unit and has an infrared transmissivity. The coating film layer includes dispersed aggregates of particles of a pigment.

Infrared transmissive product

A garnish includes a heating element, a base member, and a circuit board. The heating element is configured by stacking first and second sheet materials and interposing a heater wire in between. The circuit board includes a power source line and is fixed to a back surface of the base member. The heating element includes a main body portion and an extending portion. The extending portion includes a power source connection portion for connecting the heater wire to the power source line and extends to the back surface of the base member. The main body portion of the heating element is fixed to a laying surface of the base member by fixing the second sheet material to the base member. The heater wire is exposed in the power source connection portion without stacking the second sheet material on the first sheet material.

Decorative component for vehicle

In a cover device for a near-infrared sensor, a plate-shaped cover is arranged in a vehicle such that near-infrared light transmitted from a near-infrared sensor passes through the cover in the thickness direction. A part of the cover in the thickness direction is constituted by a bright decorative layer, which reflects part of incident visible light and allows near-infrared light to pass through. The cover is configured such that the near-infrared light transmittance is higher than the visible light transmittance. The vehicle further includes a light emitting portion, which emits visible light to the cover.

Cover device for near-infrared sensors

A vehicle sensor unit includes a millimeter wave radar device, an infrared sensor that is arranged at a position adjacent to the millimeter wave radar device, and a cover having a first cover portion and a second cover portion. The first cover portion is located in front of the millimeter wave radar device in a transmission direction of the millimeter waves to conceal the millimeter wave radar device and has millimeter wave transparency. The second cover portion is located in front of the infrared sensor in a transmission direction of the infrared light to conceal the infrared sensor and has infrared light transparency. The millimeter wave radar device and the infrared sensor are attached to the cover so that the whole vehicle sensor unit is configured as a single unit.

Vehicle sensor unit

A silver mirror film includes a plurality of silver particles arranged in a film surface direction, a plurality of interparticle silicon particles between the silver particles, and a plurality of surface silicon particles on surfaces of the silver particles so as to at least partially cover the surfaces. The interparticle silicon particles and the surface silicon particles are present as (SiO){x&#x2265;1, y&#x2265;1, and n&#x2265;1}.

Silver mirror film, decorative article, silver mirror film-forming liquid, and method for producing reducing liquid therefor

There is provided a near-infrared sensor cover to be applied to a near-infrared sensor including a transmitting unit that transmits near-infrared radiation to outside of a vehicle and a receiving unit that receives near-infrared radiation reaching and reflected by an object outside the vehicle, and to cover the transmitting unit and the receiving unit. The near-infrared sensor cover includes a luster layer formed by dispersing a filler in a coating film, the filler including a core and a shell that covers the core with a material having a refractive index different from that of the core. Light transmittance of near-infrared radiation in the near-infrared sensor cover is 60% or more.

Near-infrared sensor cover

There is provided a near-infrared sensor cover to be applied to a near-infrared sensor including a transmitting unit that transmits near-infrared radiation and a receiving unit that receives near-infrared radiation reflected by an object. The near-infrared sensor cover includes a cover main body portion disposed with a thickness direction thereof to be coincide with a transmission and reception direction of the near-infrared radiation and covering the transmitting unit and the receiving unit, and a heater wire disposed on the cover main body portion to generate heat when energized. The heater wire includes plural straight line portions that extend in parallel to each other and plural connection portions that connect end portions of adjacent straight line portions. An interval between adjacent straight line portions ranges from 3 mm to 10 mm, and a diameter of the heater wire ranges from 0.01 mm to 0.2 mm.

The infrared reflective device includes infrared reflective members which reflect infrared rays. The infrared reflective members include colloidal particles arranged at regular spacing, and a filler material intervening in the spaces between the colloidal particles. The difference between the refractive index of the colloidal particles and the refractive index of the filler material is set so as to be 0.05 or less in the visible light region and 0.1 or above in the infrared region, whereby visible light is transmitted while infrared rays are reflected.

Infrared reflective member, and infrared reflective device and method of making same

An infrared reflecting device includes a multi-layer infrared reflecting body composed of a plurality of superimposed infrared reflecting members, and temperature-sensitive members positioned surrounding the side faces of the multi-layer infrared reflecting body. The infrared reflecting member includes colloidal crystal particles arrayed at regular lattice spacing, and a filler interposed between the colloidal crystal particles. Depending on temperature, the temperature-sensitive members supply the filler with moisture, and the lattice spacing of the colloidal crystal particles changes due to swelling of the filler. Since lattice spacing changes the reflected wavelength from the ultraviolet region to the infrared region on the basis of Bragg's law and Snell's law, the amount of transmitted infrared radiation can be adjusted efficiently.

Infrared reflecting device

A picture display device includes display elements reflecting specific wavelengths of visible light; and shape deformation portions for inducing elastic deformation of the display elements. The individual display elements have colloidal particles arrayed at regular spacing, and an elastically deformable filler material intervening between the colloidal particles. The shape deformation portion includes a shape retention component formed of a material capable of reversible plastic deformation by external force.
