Systems and Methods for contextual recommendation of learning content based on various parameters and using probabilistic framework are provided. The recommendation system is a function of learner's profile, job context and learner's role wherein utility values are computed and combined for each of the learning content and compared to enable the system to recommend the most relevant learning content to the learner. The system further utilizes Bayesian reasoning model for otherwise inaccurately specified parameters to impart robustness and flexibility to the system.

Remote sensing techniques are being increasingly used for periodic structural health monitoring of vast infrastructures. Conventionally, analysis of visual and other signals captured from sensing devices are used to diagnose faults. Such data collection and analysis is expensive in terms of both computational overheads as well as towards robotic maneuvering of data collection systems, such as a UAV. In accordance with the present disclosure, the data acquisition system is modeled as an intelligent situated agent that autonomously controls data gathering and analysis activities through a cognitive cycle of perception-recognition-action, in order to optimize the cost of efforts in identifying faults that may exist. Also, a reactive, economical planning algorithm around Qualitative Bayesian Network (QBN) that controls the sequence of data collection and analysis has been implemented.

Systems and methods for cognitive control of data acquisition for efficient fault diagnosis

This disclosure relates generally to telecom inventory management, and more particularly to telecom inventory management via object recognition and localization using street-view images. In one embodiment, the method includes obtaining street-view images of a geographical area having telecom assets. The telecom assets are associated with corresponding GPS location coordinates. An object recognition model is applied to the street-view images to detect the telecom assets therein. Detecting the telecom assets includes associating the telecom assets with corresponding asset labels. A real-world location of the telecom assets is estimated in the geographical area by applying triangulation method on a set of multi-view images selected from the street-view images. The set of multi-view images are captured from a plurality of consecutive locations in vicinity of the telecom asset in the geographical area. The GPS location coordinates of the telecom assets are validated based at least on the estimated real-world location.

A method and system for multiplexing of multiple channels of video data through a single analog broadcasting channel is disclosed. The method enables a spatial and temporal multiplexing of videos of each of the multiple channels. The multiplexed content is created as a result of multiplexing that is encoded to generate digital transport stream that is transmitted through analog medium. The system enables a STB receiver to decode each of the videos from the stream. At least one video from the multiple videos is played on the television based on user selection.
