A dam portion () includes a wall surface positioned along an edge of the organic film and faces the display area. A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a substrate, a plurality of pixels on the substrate, a first inorganic insulating layer that covers the plurality of pixels, a conductive layer on the first inorganic insulating layer, and a second inorganic insulating layer that on the conductive layer, the conductive layer being between the first inorganic insulating layer and the second inorganic insulating layer, wherein the first inorganic insulating layer includes an area that is in direct contact with the second inorganic insulating layer, and all of the conductive layer is covered with the first inorganic insulating layer and the second inorganic insulating layer.

An organic EL display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a substrate on which a display region including a plurality of pixels including an organic EL layer and an external region that surrounds the display region are formed, at least one separating wall that is formed at a part of the external region on the substrate, and an organic layer that covers at least a part of the display region, includes an organic material, and is formed on a display region side of the at least one separating wall. A wall surface of the display region side of the at least one separating wall includes an inclined surface that is inclined toward the display region side as it is extended away from the substrate.

Method of manufacturing organic EL display device

A display device according to the present invention includes a display region arranged with a plurality of pixels, and a sealing layer covering the display region, wherein the sealing layer includes an insulation layer having a density pattern, the density pattern is a pattern including a low density region and a high density region, the low density region has the insulation layer with a lower density than an average density within the display region of the insulation layer, and the high density region has the insulation layer with a higher density than an average density within the display region of the insulation layer.

A display device includes a sealing film covering a display region where an image is displayed, a touch sensor layer configured to detect a touched position of the display region, the touch sensor layer including a first electrode layer that is arranged on the sealing film, a first insulating layer that is formed on the first electrode layer using a material including nitrogen, and a second electrode layer that is arranged over the first insulating layer, an overcoat covering the touch sensor layer, and a polarizing plate being arranged on the overcoat. The touch sensor layer further includes a second insulating layer configured to inhibit a reaction between nitrogen included in the first insulating layer and water included in the overcoat, the second insulating layer being formed between the first insulating layer and the overcoat using a material not including nitrogen.

A display device is disclosed including an array substrate including a plurality of pixels arranged in a display region, the display region including a planar region and a curved region, and a sealing layer covering the plurality of pixels and arranged across the display region, wherein the sealing layer includes a first organic insulation layer and a second organic insulation layer, a film thickness of the first organic insulation layer is more than a film thickness of the second organic insulation layer in the planar region, a film thickness of the second organic insulation layer is more than a film thickness of the first organic insulation layer in the curved region, and a hardness of the second organic insulation layer is lower than a hardness of the first organic insulation layer.
