In a wireless system, a user device or a server obtains a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) position of the user device, a sensor-based trajectory of the user device, or both. The user device or the server filters map data indicating possible routes of the user device based on one or more criteria associated with the GNSS position, the sensor-based trajectory, or both to obtain filtered map data. The user device or the server determines a position estimate for the user device based on the filtered map data.

Positioning operation based on filtered map data

A router architecture that facilitates cloud exchange point routing is disclosed. The architecture relies upon B-nodes to connect branch network to cloud, S-nodes to connect services, and V-nodes to connect cloud to cloud. The nodes can be essentially stateless with node configuration stored outside a router, which facilitates ripping and replacement of nodes. Multiple virtual private clouds can be implemented with respective pluralities of Kubernetes pods and a master Kubernetes cluster. Consumer premises equipment is coupled to a first virtual private cloud that forms a virtual extensible local area network with a second private cloud.

A method being for facilitating positioning determination of a UE includes: obtaining motion information indicative of motion of the UE; obtaining positioning information based on positioning signals received by the UE; determining a validity status of map data based on whether the positioning information, the motion of the UE, and the map data, that include locations of physical environmental features, are consistent, wherein the validity status is determined to be valid in response to the positioning information, the motion of the UE, and the map data being consistent; and determining at least one of a position estimate for the UE, or a direction of motion of the UE, based on the map data and based on the validity status being valid.

Validating and using map data for positioning

A method may include receiving a domain name system (DNS) query at a network device, where the DNS query may be associated with a traffic flow identified for rerouting through an alternative path utilizing an alternative network device instead of a default path. The method may also include rewriting the DNS query such that the DNS query is routed through the alternative network device along the alternative path and to a DNS server associated with the alternative path. The method may additionally include receiving a DNS response from the DNS server, where a resource identified in the DNS response may be based on the DNS query coming through the alternative network device.

Aspects presented herein may improve the performance of positioning devices by enabling the positioning devices to utilize transformed map data with limited third party knowledge of the transformation. Aspects presented herein may enable a positioning device to make the map data from another coordinate system usable for positioning algorithms without knowledge of the transformation. In one aspect, a UE transmits a request for map data based on a first set of coordinates in a first coordinate system. The UE receives the map data based on a second set of coordinates in a second coordinate system, where the first set of coordinates in the first coordinate system is distinct from the second set of coordinates in the second coordinate system. The UE calculates a set of relative distances between the second set of coordinates and one or more objects corresponding to the map data.

Usage of transformed map data with limited third party knowledge

A method for creating a secure network is provided. The method comprises establishing an overlay domain to control routing between overlay edge routers based on an underlying transport network, wherein said establishing comprises running an overlay management protocol to exchange information within the overlay domain; in accordance with the overlay management protocol defining service routes that exist exclusively within the overlay domain wherein each overlay route includes information on at least service availability within the overlay domain; and selectively using the service routes to control routing between the overlay edge routers; wherein the said routing is through the underlying transport network in a manner in which said overlay routes is shared with the overlay edge routers but not with the underlying transport network via the overlay management protocol.

Overlay management protocol for secure routing based on an overlay network

A method for routing is disclosed. The method comprises establishing an overlay network, comprising a plurality of network elements and an overlay controller; wherein the overlay controller is in communication with each network element via a secure tunnel established through an underlying transport network; receiving by the overlay controller, information from each service-hosting network element information said information identifying a service hosted at that service-hosting network element, and label associated with the service-hosting network element; identifying by the overlay controller, at least one policy that associates traffic from a site with a service; and causing by said overly controller, the at least one policy to be executed so that traffic from the site identified in the policy is routed using the underlying transport network to the service-hosting network element associated with the said service.

Aspects presented herein may enable an electronic device to determine gyroscope biases and calibrate a gyroscope without a magnetometer or without relying on data generated from a magnetometer. In one aspect, an apparatus estimates a set of gyroscopic biases for a plurality of temperatures or temperature ranges to create a mapping that maps the plurality of temperatures or temperature ranges to the set of gyroscopic biases. The apparatus monitors temperatures of a gyroscope via a gyroscope temperature sensor. The apparatus calibrates the gyroscope in response to the gyroscope changing from a first temperature to a second temperature based on the mapping or based on a predicted value derived from the mapping. In some aspects, the apparatus calculates a DR trajectory of the apparatus based at least in part on the calibrated gyroscope and the accelerometer without using a magnetometer or without using data generated from the magnetometer.

A method may include identifying an address within a packet of a traffic flow associated with a network device. The method may also include comparing the address within the packet with a stored address, the stored address associated with a route for an alternative traffic path, where the alternative traffic path may be different from a default route of traffic passing through the network device. The method may additionally include, based on the address within the packet matching the stored address, routing the packet along the alternative traffic path instead of the default route of traffic.

The present development is a method and device to monitor the salt level in a patient's blood without the need of laboratory facilities or intervention by medical personnel. The basic device is designed to measure the concentration of analytes, specifically sodium ion and potassium ion, in the patient's blood and to communicate the analyte level to the patient essentially instantaneously through a mobile monitor or display screen. In a variation, the device combines the analyte-concentration measuring function with a means for measuring the concentration of glucose in blood, and the blood analyte level and glucose level are displayed to the patient essentially instantaneously. Both the salt level device and the salt level+glucose level device may be further adapted to allow for the salt and glucose level data to be stored in a data storage base so the patient has an historical record of the concentration levels.
