Provided are a sealing device that can be easily manufactured and achieve a reduction in friction and a method for manufacturing the sealing device. A sealing device is provided between a housing in which a plurality of opening portions are formed in a tubular inner peripheral surface and a rotor that is disposed in the housing and switches a flow path by rotating relative to the housing. The sealing device includes a sealing device main body that is disposed along the inner peripheral surface and includes a sliding member provided on an inner surface or an outer surface. The sealing device main body has a plurality of through-holes that communicate with each of the plurality of openings, and the sealing device main body is a strip plate-shaped member with a flat plate shape that is bent and deformed.

Sealing device and method for manufacturing sealing device

A seal inspection device includes: a first holder including a port surrounded by an inspection target, and a through hole connected to an outside-leak detection flow path; a second holder holding the inspection target between the first and second holders; an inspection-place sealing portion forming, into a closed space, a space where the inspection target is arranged, in cooperation with the first and second holders; a pressurization valve connecting the port to both a supply source of an inspection gas and an exhaust system; a detector for the inspection gas; a first measurement valve connecting the detector to the port; and a second measurement valve connecting the outside-leak detection flow path to the detector.

Seal inspection device and seal inspection method

A sealing device suppresses deterioration of sealing properties due to plastic deformation (settling) of an outer circumferential lip, including a packing () having an outer circumferential lip () provided on a sealed fluid side and an inner circumferential lip () on an inner circumferential side, and a metal spring member () mounted in a mounting groove () and having an outer circumferential pressing portion () that extends radially outward and toward the sealed fluid side from a groove bottom of the mounting groove () and presses the outer circumferential lip () radially outward, and an inner circumferential pressing portion () that extends radially inward and toward the sealed fluid side from the groove bottom of the mounting groove () and presses the inner circumferential lip () radially inward. Among the outer circumferential lip () and the inner circumferential lip (), a protrusion () for preventing the spring member () from coming off is provided only on the inner circumferential lip ().

Sealing device

A sealing device exhibits a sealing function even when it is in a state in which squeeze of a seal ring is reduced and in a low-temperature condition. A sealing structure is provided with a cylinder head () for an engine which has an injector mounting hole () and is exposed to high pressure gas; an injector which is mounted in the injector mounting hole (); and a seal ring () made of resin which seals an annular gap between the injector mounting hole () and the injector (), wherein a step having a larger diameter on a combustion chamber side (E) where the high pressure gas is present is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the injector mounting hole (), and the seal ring () is attached to a position where the seal ring is in close contact with a step surface () of the step.

Sealing structure

In a sealing structure, a seal ring stands between an outer peripheral member and an inner peripheral member installed thereto. A taper-like outer peripheral surface having smaller diameter toward an inserting direction of the inner peripheral member and an installation portion outer peripheral surface extending from the small diameter end portion are formed on an outer peripheral surface of the inner peripheral member. A stepped surface positioned closer to the inserting direction side and directed to an opposite direction to the inserting direction, and an installation portion inner peripheral surface extending from an outer diameter end of the stepped surface in the opposite direction are formed on an inner peripheral surface of the outer peripheral member. The seal ring is arranged in a compressed state between the taper-like outer peripheral surface and the installation portion outer peripheral surface, and the stepped surface and the installation portion inner peripheral surface.

A sealing device () includes a resinous sealing ring () and an elastomeric elastic ring () in an annular groove. The sealing ring () has a cylindrical surface portion () making intimate contact with a groove bottom of the annular groove () and an inclined surface portion () expanding in diameter toward the atmosphere side (A). The elastic ring () is disposed such that at least its portion is compressed between the inclined surface portion () and the groove bottom of the annular groove () so as to press a portion of the sealing ring () on the atmosphere side (A) toward the outer peripheral side.
