A lighting device includes: a communication unit that communicates with a vehicle which drives autonomously; a diagnostic unit that performs, via the communication unit, diagnosis as to whether the vehicle is being hacked; and a light emitter that emits illumination light onto at least one of the vehicle, a road on which the vehicle travels, or a parking space in which the vehicle parks.

A vehicle diagnostic system includes: a vehicle diagnostic device including a communication unit that communicates with a vehicle which drives autonomously, and a diagnostic unit that performs, via the communication unit, diagnosis as to whether the vehicle is being hacked; and electrical apparatuses that communicate with the vehicle diagnostic device via a network. The diagnostic unit performs the diagnosis when an operational state of at least one electrical apparatus among the electrical apparatuses changes.

A control unit in a communications device, upon receipt of information from a first lighting device, transmits the information from the first lighting device to a second lighting device and enters a single protocol state in which wireless communication is performed exclusively via a second communications protocol, until the communications device receives a response to the transmission. Upon receipt of information from the second lighting device, the control unit transmits the information from the second lighting device to the first lighting device and enters a single protocol state in which wireless communication is performed exclusively via a first communications protocol, until the communications device receives a response to the transmission. Upon receipt of either of the responses by the communications device, the control unit enters a multiprotocol state in which wireless communication is possible via the first and second communications protocols.

Communications device

A third lighting device connects one or more first lighting devices included in a first local network with one or more second lighting devices included in a second local network different from the first local network. The third lighting device includes: a first processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more first lighting devices via a first communications protocol; a second processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more second lighting devices via a second communications protocol different from the first communications protocol; and a control unit that switches between causing the first processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more first lighting devices and causing the second processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more second lighting devices.

The communications device includes a first processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more first lighting devices via a first communications protocol; a second processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more second lighting devices via a second communications protocol different from the first communications protocol; and a control unit that switches between causing the first processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more first lighting devices and causing the second processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more second lighting devices.

Communications device and communications system

A communications device connects one or more first lighting devices included in a first local network with one or more second lighting devices included in a second local network different from the first local network. The communications device includes a single semiconductor integrated circuit including: a first processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more first lighting devices via a first communications protocol; a second processing unit that wirelessly communicates with the one or more second lighting devices via a second communications protocol different from the first communications protocol; and a control unit that switches between causing the first processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more first lighting devices and causing the second processing unit to wirelessly communicate with the one or more second lighting devices.

An illumination system includes an illumination device, a control unit for controlling a turn-on operation of the illumination device, and a terminal through which manipulation information of the illumination device is inputted by a user. The control unit includes an information extracting unit for extracting illumination information, within a period between a first moment prior to a falling-asleep time of the user and a second moment after a wakeup time of the user, from manipulation information and operation information of the illumination device stored in a memory unit, and an information transceiver unit for transmitting and receiving the illumination information to and the terminal. The terminal includes a terminal transceiver unit for transmitting and receiving the illumination information to and from the control unit, a display unit for displaying the illumination information received through the terminal transceiver unit and an input unit by which the manipulation information is inputted.
