An image pickup device that is provided at a distal end portion of an insertion unit of an endoscope having a longitudinal axis, includes: a first lens barrel that houses a first optical system; a second lens barrel that is disposed on a proximal end side of the first lens barrel, houses a second optical system on which light having passed through the first optical system is to be incident, and includes a second lens barrel-distal end portion that is a distal end portion having a diameter smaller than a diameter of a first lens barrel-proximal end portion which is a proximal end portion of the first lens barrel; a sliding part that is provided around an outer peripheral surface of the second lens barrel-distal end portion and that is in contact with the first lens barrel-proximal end portion; and a pressing member that is externally fitted over the sliding part from the first lens barrel-proximal end portion. The pressing member includes a pressing member-inner peripheral surface that is in contact with both an outer peripheral surface of the first lens barrel-proximal end portion and an outer peripheral surface of the sliding part, and a movement restricting portion that restricts a movement of the sliding part in an axial direction of the longitudinal axis between the first lens barrel-proximal end portion and the movement restricting portion.

Image pickup device and endoscope

The connector device includes a metal internal member, a metal light guide rod and metal fixing bases and, which are connected to the internal member, a resin sheathing member that accommodates the internal member and includes leading-out holes, which lead the light guide rod and the fixing base to the outside, and fluoro rubber O-rings, which are provided on the light guide rod and the fixing bases, the O-rings being respectively placed in gaps between the light guide rod and the fixing bases and the leading-out holes and sealing the inside of the sheathing member.

Endoscope connector device

Provided is an endoscope that can connect proximal ends of the first signal lines and a signal relay part together without securing an extra length for the first signal lines. An airtight casing is disposed inside an outer tube of an insertion part, an imaging device and first signal lines are accommodated inside the airtight casing, a distal end of the airtight casing is airtightly sealed by a cover glass, and a proximal end of the airtight casing is airtightly sealed by a partition wall part. The airtight casing is constituted of a first tubular body and a second tubular body, and the second tubular body is disposed in a nested shape with respect to the first tubular body. During the connection between the proximal ends of the first signal lines and the terminal part, the second tubular body is advanced toward the first tubular body.

Endoscope

Provided are an optical unit and an endoscope that can enhance the airtightness between a holding tube and a cover glass without a joining member flowing into a distal end surface of an optical lens while maintaining the attachment accuracy of the cover glass. A spacer is disposed between a cover glass position restricting part of a holding tube of an optical unit and a cover glass. The position of the cover glass in an optical axis is restricted by the cover glass position restricting part via a spacer. An external diameter of a first end surface of the spacer is smaller than an internal diameter of a cover glass fixing part of the holding tube. A solder pool part is provided in a region, which is surrounded by a side surface of the spacer, the cover glass fixing part, and the cover glass position restricting part.

Optical unit and endoscope

A visible image based on light output from a region to be observed by illumination of the region to be observed with visible light, and a special image based on light output from the region to be observed by illumination of the region to be observed with special light in a wavelength band that is different from the wavelength band of the visible light are obtained. An extraction image is generated by extracting a part of image data representing the visible image. A superimposition image is generated by superimposing the generated extraction image on the special image. The generated superimposition image is displayed.

Image display method and apparatus

An optical module includes a receptacle for receiving an optical connector attached to a distal end of an optical fiber, and a lens body having a contact surface coming into contact with the distal end of the optical fiber when the receptacle receives the optical connector. The lens body has the contact surface and an opposing surface opposing the contact surface, and further has a columnar base held by the receptacle, a lens portion formed on the opposing surface integrally with the base, and a flat portion. The lens portion is surrounded by the flat portion and is off-centered with respect to the base.

Optical module

A method for use with a radiation image detector, including the steps of detecting a faulty signal line having a signal amount less than a predetermined threshold value based on radiation image signals read out from the detector, setting a signal line adjacent to the faulty signal line as an abnormal signal line and a signal line adjacent to the abnormal signal line and having a normal amount of signal as a reference signal line, calculating the difference between a signal read out by the abnormal signal line and a signal read out by the reference signal line as a correction amount, calculating a low frequency component correction amount by removing a high frequency component from the calculated correction amount, and performing a correction on the signal read out by the abnormal signal line by adding the calculated low frequency component correction amount to the signal.

Signal line correction method and apparatus

Offset correction based on offset correction data is performed on radiographic image data that have been read out from a radiation image detector, and the offset correction data are updated. In the offset correction method, correction data for low-frequency components and correction data for high-frequency components, as the offset correction data, are generated based on offset image data that have been read out from the radiation image detector while the radiation image detector is not irradiated with radiation. Further, the correction data for low-frequency components and the correction data for high-frequency components are separately updated.

Radiographic image data correction method and apparatus and radiography apparatus

An optical module includes a lens-containing optically-transmissive member and a receptacle. The receptacle includes: an optical connector-inserting section; a fixing section for fixing the member; and an device-installing section for installing a semiconductor device serving as a light emitting device or a light receiving device. The fixing section communicates with the device-installing section. The member includes a main body and a lens. The main body includes a first section and a second section, the first section having a first outer diameter, which is substantially equal to a internal diameter of said fixing section, and said second section having a second outer diameter, which is smaller than the first outer diameter, and at least containing an end of said main body in a side of the device-installing section.
