Provided is a packaged beverage, including the following components: (A) 0.025 mass % to 0.5 mass % of a non-polymer catechin; and (B) at least one selected from the group consisting of an &#x3b1;-acid and an iso-&#x3b1;-acid, as well as a &#x3b2;-acid, in which: a mass ratio of (B2) the &#x3b2;-acid to the component (B), [(B2)/(B)], is 0.01 or more; and the packaged beverage has a pH of from 2 to 5.

Packaged beverage

Provided is a beer-taste beverage, including: (A) proline; and (B) dehydroascorbic acid, in which: a mass ratio of the component (B) to the component (A), [(B)/(A)], is from 0.001 to 1,000; the beer-taste beverage has a pH of from 2 to 5; and the beer-taste beverage has a content of ethanol of less than 1 mass %.

Beer-flavored beverage

A process is described for the production of a packaged green tea beverage containing non-polymer catechins at a concentration of 0.05 to 0.5 wt. %. According to the process, an aluminosilicate which has an iron release rate of not greater than 0.8 mg/kg to a catechin-containing solution is brought into contact with a green tea mixture of a green tea extract and a concentrate of green tea extract. The present invention can provide beverages, which contain catechins at high concentration and inhibit the formation of dregs during long-term storage.
