A driver assistance apparatus is configured to carry out processing including: detecting a moving body and surrounding environment around the vehicle; predicting driving actions of the moving body detected; calculating collision risks between the moving body and the vehicle after a predetermined period of time, for the respective driving actions predicted of the moving body, on the basis of distances between the moving body and the vehicle after the predetermined period of time and probabilities that the moving body takes the respective driving actions; and setting a driving condition of the vehicle that provides a smallest one of the collision risks.

A driver assistance apparatus includes: one or more processors; and one or more memories communicably coupled to the one or more processors. The one or more processors set a control mode of outputting a sound, to a first or second output control mode depending on a predetermined determination condition. The first output control mode includes outputting the sound continuously during travel of a vehicle, while changing the sound with magnitude of behavior of the vehicle. The second output control mode includes outputting, each time the vehicle travels through a predetermined segment of a planned travel route of the vehicle, a reward sound corresponding to stability of the behavior of the vehicle in the predetermined segment traveled. The one or more processors carry out processing of outputting the sound in the first or second output control mode set.

A vehicle control device includes a behavior instability acquirer, an automated driving advisability determination unit, and a switching time setting unit. The behavior instability acquirer acquires behavior instability of a vehicle. A driving support apparatus includes a controller. The controller is configured to obtain data indicating behavior of a body of a vehicle while the vehicle is driving. The controller is configured to continuously output a sound that is to be changed in accordance with the behavior while the vehicle is driving. The controller is configured to set a predetermined threshold for a value indicating magnitude of the behavior, based on a driving condition of the vehicle. The controller is configured to change the sound in accordance with the value indicating the magnitude of the behavior in a case where the value indicating the magnitude of the behavior is smaller than the predetermined threshold. The controller is configured to execute predetermined control in a case where the value indicating the magnitude of the behavior is greater than or equal to the predetermined threshold.

Driving support apparatus

A data collection apparatus includes a processor and a storage. The processor is configured to: estimate an emotion of a person watching an own vehicle on the basis of an image data of a surrounding environment of the own vehicle; generate emotion data including an estimate of the emotion of the person watching the own vehicle; specify a state of the own vehicle viewed by the person watching the own vehicle; and correlate the emotion data with the specified state of the own vehicle. The storage is configured to be caused by the processor to store the emotion data correlated with the specified state of the own vehicle.

Data collection apparatus for estimating emotion of a person watching vehicle

A vehicle control apparatus to be applied to a vehicle includes a driver state-value detection processor, a road-surface-state detection processor, a threshold setting processor, a dangerous-driving determination processor, and a determination threshold changing processor. The driver state-value detection processor detects a state value of a driver who drives the vehicle. The road-surface-state detection processor detects a road-surface state of a road on which the vehicle is traveling. The threshold setting processor decides, based on the state value, one or more determination thresholds of a state to be determined as occurrence of dangerous driving. The dangerous-driving determination processor determines that the dangerous driving is occurring in a case where the state value is present within a range outside any of the one or more determination thresholds for a predetermined time period or more. The determination threshold changing processor changes the one or more determination thresholds based on the road-surface state.

Vehicle control apparatus

A gaze target detector includes a line-of-sight detector, a relative speed data acquiring unit, a relative position data acquiring unit, a curvature calculator, a threshold adjuster, and a gaze determination unit. The line-of-sight detector detects the line of sight of an occupant in a vehicle. The relative speed data acquiring unit acquires a relative speed between the vehicle and a gaze target at which the occupant is gazing. The relative position data acquiring unit acquires a relative position between the vehicle and the gaze target. The curvature calculator calculates the curvature of a traveling track of the vehicle. The threshold adjuster adjusts a threshold based on at least one of the relative speed, the relative position, or the curvature. The threshold is used to determine the gaze target. The gaze determination unit determines the gaze target as a gaze event based on the threshold adjusted.
