According to one embodiment, a display device includes a base, a display unit containing pixels, a power supply circuit, a touch controller and a switching circuit disposed between the display unit, the power supply circuit and the touch controller. The pixels each includes a pixel circuit and a display element including a lower electrode connected to the pixel circuit, an upper electrode disposed to oppose the lower electrode and an organic layer including a light-emitting layer disposed between the lower electrode and the upper electrode. The upper electrode is connected to the switching circuit, and the switching circuit selectively switches between connecting the upper electrode to the power supply circuit and connecting the upper electrode to the touch controller.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first insulating layer disposed on a base material, a first electrode disposed on the first insulating layer, a second insulating layer disposed on the first insulating layer and including an opening portion, a barrier wall disposed on the second insulating layer, an organic layer in contact with the first electrode through the opening portion and in contact with the second insulating layer between the opening portion and the barrier wall, a second electrode disposed on the organic layer, an insulator covering side surfaces of the barrier wall and edge portions of the organic layer and the second electrode, and a third electrode covering the second electrode, the barrier wall, and the insulator.

An electron beam accelerated using a first acceleration voltage is applied to respective positions on a sample to obtain spectra A at the respective positions, and an electron beam accelerated using a second acceleration voltage different from the first acceleration voltage is applied to the respective positions on the sample to obtain spectra B at the respective positions. Then, a spectral ratio A/B of the spectra is calculated at each of the positions to generate a waveform representing the spectral ratio A/B. The value of a spectral ratio A/B in an energy region of interest is extracted from each of the waveforms. The extracted values are mapped onto points corresponding to the respective positions on the sample, whereby a spectral map is generated. The spectral map is displayed.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a base, a first insulating layer, a first pixel electrode on the first insulating layer in a pixel, a second pixel electrode on the first insulating layer in a dummy pixel, a second insulating layer on the first insulating layer, a first organic layer in the pixel and in contact with the first pixel electrode, a second organic layer in the dummy pixel, a partition wall on the second insulating layer and between the organic layers and a common electrode covering the organic layers and the partition wall. An end portion of the first organic layer is in contact with a side surface of the partition wall.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a substrate, first and second insulating layers, first and second pixel electrodes, first and second organic layers, first and second feed lines, first and second partitions, and a common electrode including first and second parts covering the first and second organic layers. The first organic layer is between the partitions. The second feed line and the second partition are located between the organic layers. The partitions are shaped such that a width of an upper part is greater than a width of a lower part. The first part is in contact with the first feed line between the first partition and the first organic layer.

According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device includes a first area, second area, liquid crystal layer, and a plurality of pixels. Each subpixel includes an opening area including a first opening area and a second opening area. The pixels include a first pixel positioned in the first area and a second pixel positioned over a boundary of the first area and the second area. The opening area of the second pixel is smaller than the opening area of the first pixel when opening areas of subpixels of same color are compared. Gas wiping nozzle and method for manufacturing hot-dip metal coated metal strip

Provided is a continuous hot-dip galvanizing apparatus comprising: a vertical annealing furnace having heating, soaking zone, and cooling zones therein; and a hot-dip galvanizing line downstream of the cooling zone. The heating, soaking, and cooling zones each have, in its upper portion, at least one upper hearth roll and, in its lower portion, at least one lower hearth roll. The soaking zone has a first and second humidified gas supply ports to supply a humidified gas having a dew point of 10° C. to 30° C. to the soaking zone. The first and second humidified gas supply ports are 1.0 m to 5.0 m lower than the center of the lower and upper hearth rolls, respectively, and overlap the steel sheet. The first humidified gas supply port is provided only for an ascending pass and the second humidified gas supply port is provided only for a descending pass.

Continuous hot-dip galvanizing apparatus

A high-strength galvanized steel sheet and a method for producing the steel sheet. The steel sheet has a composition that includes C: 0.030% to 0.250%, Si: 0.01% to 3.00%, Mn: 2.00% to 10.00%, P: 0.001% to 0.100%, S: 0.0001% to 0.0200%, N: 0.0005% to 0.0100%, Ti: 0.005% to 0.200%, on a mass basis, and Fe and inevitable impurities. Additionally, the steel sheet has concentration of solute Mn at a depth of 5 &#x3bc;m or less from a surface of the steel sheet that is 1.50% by mass or less, and a value obtained by dividing the average mass percentage of Mn in retained austenite by the average mass percentage of Mn in ferrite is 2.0 or more.
