A display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a thin plate-shaped display cell that displays image and a plurality of exciters disposed on a back surface of the display cell and causing the display cell to vibrate. The plurality of exciters is such configured that the plurality of exciters is regarded as one exciter when the plurality of exciters generates vibration in the display cell.

Display apparatus

A flat panel speaker according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes a flat panel and a plurality of vibrators that are disposed on a back surface of the flat panel. The plurality of vibrators are disposed to avoid a location that most easily vibrates in an entire range of audio frequencies when vibration is generated in the flat panel by the plurality of vibrators. A large stationary wave with respect to the flat panel therefore does not easily occur.

Flat panel speaker and display unit

In a schlieren optical system, a laser beam is passed through the jet flow and the ambient around the jet flow, and a high speed sampling is performed using a high speed photo sensor while displacing measurement points. The value obtained by sampling represents a result of the optical path caused curved by a density gradient generated in an arc-shape from the center of the jet flow. The value is subjected to a high speed discrete Fourier transform and decomposed into frequency components which constitute the noise. Thereafter, Abel inversion is performed on data belonging to a particular frequency to obtain a density gradient in the radial direction from the center of the jet flow. The obtained density gradient is visualized in a graph display, so that the position of the sound source and the state of the jet flow can be accurately grasped.

Acoustic measurement device and acoustic measurement method

A novel combined engine for a single-stage spacecraft is provided that combines a air-breathing engine utilizing oxygen in the atmosphere as oxidizer and rocket engines for obtaining thrust outside the atmosphere and that does not require a portion whose shape is variable in accordance with the flight speed. Rocket enginesare provided on strutsthat form air introduction channelsin the air intake section. The rocket jetsfrom the rocket enginescontrol the flow of the airflowsintroduced into the combustion chamberin accordance with the flight speed. When the spacecraftis stationary or in subsonic flight, the rocket jetspromote air intake into the combustion chamberby lowering of static pressure due to expansion (ejector effect). In the subsonic flight condition, it performs the role of air compression, mixing with incoming air, fuel injection and ignition and during supersonic/ultra-supersonic flight it performs the role of a variable diffuser.

Combine engine for single-stage spacecraft

A molded part for use in electronic devices using an infrared remote control where the molded part is molded using an infrared transmissive material and an infrared blocking coating is applied thereon. A predetermined pattern of slits or dots is formed on the infrared blocking coating for permitting the transmission and reception of infrared signals.

Molded part for an IR television remote control system

It is made possible to locate arbitrarily a light guiding device and a light emitting means. A notch (11) having a triangular cross-section is formed on a bottom (inner) side of a light guiding device (10) formed so as to have a rectangular cross-section. Furthermore, a light emitting source (12) is provided under the notch (11) of this light guiding device (10). The light emitting source (12) is mounted on a circuit board (13), and controlled according to the state of control or setting in, for example, the electronic appliance. When the light ray from the light emitting source (12) is irradiated toward the notch (11), the emitted light ray is reflected by a reflective face (14) formed by the notch (11) so as to be a plane and a front face (15) of the light guiding device (10) becomes luminous. In addition, the irradiated light ray is partially transmitted through the reflective face (14), and a top face (16) of the light guiding device (10) also becomes luminous. As a result, the two outer faces (15) and (16) become luminous.
