A viscous composition of the present invention comprises specific cellulose fibers (A), (A') and (A&#x2033;) and the specific cellulose fibers (A), (A&#x2032;) and (A&#x2033;) are used with appropriate selection according to uses of a cosmetic composition, a gel-like composition and a spray composition. Therefore, in case where the composition is used as the cosmetic composition, a cosmetic composition which is excellent in shape retention ability and dispersion stability and excellent in water tolerance to satisfy the properties and the performance which is necessary for cosmetics is obtained. Additionally, in case where the composition is used as a gel-like composition, gel-state can be kept without separation or water release. Furthermore, in case where the composition is used as a spray composition, since it is possible to time-dependently keep stable gel state even if functional additives such as electrolytes, ionic substances, etc. are contained, it is possible to mix various functional additives which is necessary for the use without any problem.

Viscous composition

A viscous composition of the present invention comprises specific cellulose fibers (A), (A') and (A&#x2033;) which are selected according to uses of a cosmetic composition, a gel-like composition and a spray composition. By using the composition of the present invention, a cosmetic composition which is excellent in shape retention ability and dispersion stability and excellent in water tolerance to satisfy the properties and the performance which is necessary for cosmetics; a gel-like composition wherein gel-state can be kept without separation or water release; and a spray composition wherein various functional additives which is necessary for the use is mixed without any problem can be obtained.

The present invention provides a cation-modified linear copolymer which comprises, within the molecule thereof, 95 to 85 mole % of an ethylene structural unit, 0.1 to 10 mole % of an ester structural unit represented by general formula (II), 0.1 to 6 mole % of an acrylic or methacrylic acid structural unit and 1 to 12 mole % of an amide structural unit represented by general formula (IV). The copolymer and has a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 to 100,000. This composition comprises a copolymer of a diallylammonium halide derivative with a N-vinylacetamide derivative as an essential component. The conductive paper manufactured by coating or impregnating a substrate paper with this composition is of remarkably high practical value in terms of electrical conductivity, hardness, surface tackiness and solvent resistance.
