An inverter-integrated rotating electric machine (A) includes: a rotating electric machine main body (); and an inverter device (A), which is provided to the rotating electric machine main body (). The inverter device (A) includes: a heat sink () configured to cool switching elements (); a control circuit board (), which is provided so as to be opposed to the heat sink (), and includes a drive circuit configured to drive the switching elements (); and a metal shield plate (), which is provided so as to be opposed to the control circuit board () in such a manner that the control circuit board () is arranged between the metal shield plate () and the heat sink (), and is electrically connected to the heat sink ().

Inverter-integrated rotating electric machine

A power conversion device includes a first switching unit connected between a DC power supply and an inverter circuit, a resonant circuit connected to the input of the inverter circuit and formed by connecting a capacitor, a reactor, and a second switching unit, and a control unit, wherein, during a resonant operation period in which the first switching unit is controlled to be off and the second switching unit is controlled to be on, the control unit controls the inverter circuit to shift from a mode in which current flows back through one of upper and lower arms of the inverter circuit to a mode in which current flows back through the other arm, and provides a period in which the upper and lower arms for every phase of the inverter circuit are turned on simultaneously.

Power conversion device and electric motor drive device using same

There is provided a fail-safe apparatus for an inverter that can suppress the voltage of a DC power source from rising when the voltage of the DC power source becomes excessive, due to an abnormality caused in an inverter that performs driving and electric-power generation by use of a synchronous motor in which a permanent magnet is utilized as a magnetic-field magnet. The fail-safe apparatus for the inverter includes an excessive voltage detection circuit for detecting a state of excessive voltage while monitoring the voltage of the DC power source of the inverter and a drive switching circuit for switching a driving method for a semiconductor switching device between three-phase PWM driving and three-phase short-circuiting driving in accordance with the state of an excessive voltage detection circuit.

Fail-safe apparatus for inverter

A cooling structure for a shunt resistor has a semiconductor switching element mounted on a component side of a circuit board, a shunt resistor surface-mounted a solder side of the circuit board, a radiator for releasing heat generated from the semiconductor switching element and the shunt resistor, and an insulating material interposed between the shunt resistor and the radiator and having a high thermal conductivity.

Cooling structure for electronic circuit component and inverter apparatus using the same

A cooling structure of a capacitor includes a snubber capacitor in which lead terminals are joined to external electrodes of a laminated ceramic electronic component; a circuit board which is for mounting the snubber capacitor and semiconductor switching elements; and a heat dissipation plate which is made of metal that dissipates the heat generated in the circuit board. The cooling structure of the capacitor is configured such that an insulating member having a high coefficient of thermal conductivity intervenes between the snubber capacitor and the heat dissipation plate.
