A wireless connector includes: a first unit attached detachably from the outside of a first object; and a second unit attached detachably from the outside of a second object. The first unit includes a first housing to which a first transmission/reception part and a first connector part are secured, the first connector part being attached to the first object and transmitting a to-be-transmitted target between the first connector part and the first object. The second unit includes a second housing to which a second transmission/reception part and a second connector part are secured, the second connector part being attached to the second object and transmitting a to-be-transmitted target between the second connector part and the second object. The first transmission/reception part and the second transmission/reception part are arranged so as to be separated from each other and opposed to each other to wirelessly transmit the to-be-transmitted target.

Robot device and wireless connector

A wireless connector is composed of a pair of units. Each unit includes an annular transmission/reception unit which is provided with a coil used to wirelessly transmit electric power, and formed of a plurality of coil parts, and a main connector portion which is detachably attached to an object from the outside of the object to transmit the electric power to the object. Each unit is assembled such that each unit can be divided into a plurality of non-annular pieces so that the coil can be formed by coupling the plurality of coil parts via a plurality of connectors for coil. When one of the transmission/reception units is attached to the object, the one of the transmission/reception units is arranged so as to oppose the other one of the transmission/reception units in a non-contact manner such that electric power can be wirelessly transmitted therebetween.

A wireless connector for wirelessly transmitting a to-be-transmitted target that is electric power and/or information, has a first unit and a second unit removably attached from the outside of a first object and a second object, respectively. The first unit includes a first transmission/reception part for wirelessly transmitting the to-be-transmitted target; and a first housing to which a first connector part for transmitting the to-be-transmitted target to/from the first object by being attached to the first object is fixed. The second unit includes a second transmission/reception part for wirelessly transmitting the to-be-transmitted target to/from the first transmission/reception part; and a second housing to which a second connector part for transmitting the to-be-transmitted target to/from the second object by being attached to the second object is fixed. The first and the second transmission/reception parts are spaced apart from and faced to each other so as to wirelessly transmit the to-be-transmitted target.

Wireless connector attachment/detachment method, robot device, and wireless connector

In a connector for connecting a thin sheet member to a mating object, a conductive shell portion collectively covering a base insulator and a cover insulator in a predetermined direction. The base insulator has a through hole penetrating therethrough in the predetermined direction. The cover insulator is cooperated with the base insulator and is for holding the thin sheet member in the predetermined direction. The shell portion has a first spring part to be brought into press contact with the thin sheet member via the through hole and a second spring part for pressing the cover insulator towards the thin sheet member.

Connector suitable for connection of a thin sheet member

A terminal portion of a contact has a first portion extending from a one-side surface of an insulator, a second portion extending so as to be connected to a conductive portion of a board, and a third portion joining between the first and second portions. The second portion is bent using a joining portion between the second and third portions and as a fulcrum. The third portion is bent using, as a fulcrum, a joining portion between the first and third portions and in a direction away from the board toward the joining portion between the second and third portions.
