The present invention provides a reel leg fixing apparatus having a sufficient strength in the coupling between the operation nut and the movable hood while reducing the thickness and the weight of the movable hood efficiently and effectively. In the reel leg fixing apparatus according to the present invention, the movable hood and the operation nut are coupled together when a locking portion bent and provided at an end of the movable hood is engaged with a recess at an end of the operation nut. The movable hood is formed of a prepreg sheet as a fiber-reinforced resin member including reinforcement fibers impregnated with a synthetic resin, and the reinforcement fibers oriented at least in the axial direction extend continuously at least in a coupling between the movable hood and the operation nut.

One object is to provide a reel leg fixing apparatus including a hood portion having an efficiently reduced thickness and weight while maintaining a sufficient strength. A toe strap of a snowboard binding is constituted of one belt to fasten an upper portion of a tiptoe of a boot and another belt to fasten a tip of the tiptoe of the boot, and it is a problem to have a configuration to guide the toe strap so as to be fastened to an appropriate position with respect to a shape of the tiptoe portion of the boot when the boot is mounted. At least any one belt of the one belt and the other belt of the toe strap includes an extending portion that extends at least any direction of front and rear on a center position in a lateral direction, and the extending portion of the belt is configured to abut on the boot prior to a non-extending portion of the belt on an adjacent position when the boot is mounted.

Snowboard binding

An apparatus for binding a boot to a base plate of a snowboard, having: a first band mounted on a first side of the base plate; a second band mounted on a second side of the base plate opposite the first side of the base plate in a width direction, the second band being removably attached to the first band, so as to fasten a toe end portion of the boot to the base plate wherein the second band fastens the toe end portion at an acute angle with respect to the base plate and the toe end portion of the boot.

Apparatus for binding boot to base plate for snowboard

A binding for a snowboard where one band has one end mounted on the one-side rising portion of a base plate and another end connected to one end of another band. The another band has another end mounted on the other-side rising using a connecting member. A structure for mounting the bands onto the rising portion includes a hole formed in the bands, a plurality of holes each having a hook groove respectively formed in the rising portion, a pin including a projection to be inserted into the hook groove, a lever disposed on the pin for rotating the pin, and an arc-shaped groove formed in a desired depth portion of each of the plurality of holes with a hook groove coaxially with the same hole and in communication with the hook groove.

Binding for snowboard

In a binding for a snowboard according to the invention, one band having one end mounted on the one-side rising portion of a base plate is connected to the other end of the other band having one end mounted on the other-side rising using a connecting member. A means for mounting the bands onto the rising portion is composed of a hole formed in the bands, a plurality of holes each having a hook groove respectively formed in the rising portion, a pin including a projection to be inserted into the hook groove, a lever disposed on the pin for rotating the pin, and an arc-shaped groove formed in a desired depth portion of each of the plurality of holes with a hook groove coaxially with the same hole and in communication with the hook groove.

A snowboard binding of the invention includes: a guide unit for properly guiding a tip portion of a left band while preventing the tip portion from entering a space of a buckle; an ankle strap fitting unit for optically fastening a ankle strap around a boot; an erroneous open preventing unit for preventing a lever of a forward inclination regulation mechanism from inadvertently releasing; a retaining unit for retaining the foot in a highback; and a binding discrimination unit.
