Sensor chip for biochemical analysis

A brake control apparatus for a vehicle includes a brake apparatus of the drum brake type; an electromagnetic valve arranged in a conduit between a wheel cylinder and a master cylinder; and a detector for detecting one directional movement of the brake friction members of the brake apparatus due to a backward rotational force of a wheel and another directional movement of the brake friction members due to a forward rotational force of the wheel when the brake friction members are pressed to the frictional surface of the rotator. The brake friction members being able to move within a predetermine range in accordance with the torque of the wheel. The detector includes a slide anchor slidably fitted to a through hold in a stationary anchor, the brake friction members being engaged with the slide anchor, and an electrical switch for detecting the movement of the slide anchor. The valve being closed and opened by the detecting output of the electrical switch. The brake apparatus further includes a spring extended between a stationary part of the brake and a brake friction member such that the one friction member is always pushed to the slide anchor by the spring, so that the electrical switch is normally held in the OFF state.

Brake control method and apparatus for a vehicle

A pull-type booster for a vehicle includes a main body having an internal space; a movable body including a head portion and a cylindrical portion formed integrally with the head portion, the head portion being arranged in the internal space and partitioning the internal space into a lower pressure chamber at one side and a control chamber at another side, and the cylindrical portion projecting from the main body at the other side; a through hole formed in the movable body; a pull input rod extending across the low pressure chamber and projecting through a seal member from the main body at the one side; a plunger arranged slidably in the through hole and combined with a head portion of the pull input rod; a valve member arranged in the through hole and operated by the plunger for generating pressure difference between the lower pressure chamber and the control chamber and moving the movable body in the direction of the lower pressure chamber, a power transmission assembly arranged in an opening end portion of the through hole and engaged with the plunger and a pull output rod engaged with the power transmission assembly and projecting outwards from the cylindrical portion of the movable body.

Pull-type booster for vehicle

A pull-type booster for a vehicle includes a main body having an internal space; a movable body including a head portion and a cylindrical portion formed integrally with the head portion, the head portion being arranged in the internal space and partitioning the internal space into a lower pressure chamber at one side and a control chamber at another side, and the cylindrical portion projecting from the main body at the other side; a through hole formed in the movable body; a pull input rod extending across the lower pressure chamber and projecting through a seal assembly from the main body at the one side; the seal assembly including a seal member fixed to the main body at its outer circumferential portion and fitted to the pull input rod at its inner circumferential portion; a more flexible portion formed between the outer circumferential portion and the inner circumferential portion in the seal member; a plunger arranged slidably in the through hole and combined with a head portion of the pull input rod; a valve member arranged in the through hole and operated by the plunger for generating pressure difference between the lower pressure chamber and the control chamber and moving the movable body in the direction of the lower pressure chamber; power transmission members arranged in an opening end portion of the through hole and engaged with the plunger means, and a pull output rod engaged with the power transmission member and projecting outwards from the cylindrical portion of the movable body.

A master cylinder reservoir includes a cylindrical body having an open upper end. A cap is fitted on and removably secured to the body, the cap engaging the open end of the body at a lower end portion thereof. The cap has a mounting portion formed adjacent to the lower end portion thereof. The mounting portion defines together with the upper surface of the open end of the body a circumferential space. The mounting portion has a first surface disposed in opposed spaced relation to the upper surface of the open end of the body. The mounting portion has a second surface disposed in opposed relation to the outer surface of the upper end of the body. The outer surface of the upper end is spaced from the second surface adjacent to the upper surface of the body to form a circumferential recess. A diaphragm received in the cap and having a peripheral portion received in the circumferential space and held between the first surface of the mounting portion and the upper surface of the open end of the body. The peripheral portion having a circumferential bead formed on a lower surface thereof, the bead being held in sealing engagement with the upper surface of the open end of the body. The peripheral portion of the diaphragm has an engaging section depending from its outer edge. The engaging section is received in the circumferential recess for engagement with the outer surface of the upper end of the body.

Master cylinder reservoir

A pull-type pneumatic booster comprises an elongated plunger received in a body for sliding movement along an axis thereof. A movable member is slidably received in the body and defines a low and a high pressure chamber therein. The high pressure chamber is controlled by a valve device to communicate with either of the low pressure chamber and a high pressure source in accordance with the movement of the plunger. One end portion of the plunger extends beyond the movable member into the low pressure chamber. The plunger has the other end portion of a tubular configuration. The front and rear end portions of the plunger are snugly fitted in and disposed in sliding contact with an inner surface of a tubular portion the movable member for guiding the movement of the plunger along the axis of the body. A load-transmitting means is received in the tubular rear end portion of the plunger for transmitting a reaction force applied to the output member to the input member via the plunger.

Pull-type pneumatic booster

A pneumatic booster includes a movable wall mounted in a hollow body to divide the interior of the body into a low pressure chamber and a high pressure chamber, the movable wall having an internal bore extending therethrough. An input member is movably received in the bore and carries a plunger. A valve member is selectively engageable with a first valve seat formed on the plunger and a second valve seat formed on the surface of the bore for controlling a pressure differential between the low and high pressure chambers. At least one pin slidably extends through the movable wall and is engageable with a rear wall of the body for allowing the movable wall to move rearwardly relative to the pin. An operating member has a tubular portion slidably received in the bore and is connected to the pin for movement therewith. An output member and a load-transmitting member for transmitting a load to the output member in response to a forward movement of the input member are received in the tubular portion. A plurality of projections extend radially inwardly from the rear end of the tubular portion for engagement with the plunger for limiting the rearward movement of the plunger relative to the operating member.
