A marching carrier is worn by a percussion player and supports an instrument at a front of a body of the player. The marching carrier includes a belly plate that covers an abdomen region of the player and includes a belly pad in a section that contacts the abdomen region, and a carrier main body that is put on shoulders of the player and is fixed to the belly plate. The carrier main body includes shoulder pads in sections that contact the shoulders. The carrier main body includes a rod that includes two front extending portions. The front extending portions extend from the shoulders toward the abdomen region. The carrier main body is configured to adjust a position in a front-rear direction of the belly pad.

Marching carrier

A snare drum includes a tension adjusting device fixed to a strainer. The tension adjusting device includes a moving member that moves in a direction intersecting inner sound wires of the snare wire. A user can adjust tension of the snare wire by operating the tension adjusting device to cause the moving member to displace the inner sound wires.

Snare drum

A snare wire is attached to a snare drum using a snare frame. A string made of flexible material is employed as a coupling member for coupling the snare frame to the snare drum. In the state in which the snare wire is attached to the snare drum by means of the snare frame, frame end sections of the snare wire are each arranged outward with respect to the outer peripheral edge of the back-surface head.

Snare wire attachment structure and snare drum

A bracket includes a base that is fixed to the outer circumferential surface of a shell, a fixing member that is fixed to a rod portion of a holder or a drum stand, a shaft that couples the base and the fixing member to each other, and a fixing tool for fixing the fixing member to the rod portion. The base and the fixing member are coupled to each other by the shaft to be pivotal relative to each other about a horizontal axis that is perpendicular to the axis of the shell.

Drum mounting device and drum

A cymbal attachment includes an attachment body having a fixing hole to which a rod is fixed and a stopper assembly adapted to be mounted onto the attachment body. The stopper assembly includes a stopper holder and a stopper slider, which is accommodated in the stopper holder. The stopper slider has a round hole and a continuous hole, which is located above the round hole. An engagement surface by which the stopper slider is engaged with the attachment body is arranged in both the attachment body and the stopper slider.

Cymbal attachment and hi-hat stand

A floor tom-tom is mounted on three floor tom-tom legs via three tom-tom mounting devices. Each tom-tom mounting device is composed of a memory lock and a floor tom-tom bracket located on the memory lock. The tom-tom mounting device is configured to be capable of fixing the floor tom-tom bracket to the memory lock.

A boom tilter includes a tilter body, a boom, a holder, a bolt and nut. The tilter body is attached to a support post to be rotatable around a first axis, which is the axis of the support post. The holder is fitted to the tilter body to be rotatable around a second axis, which is orthogonal to the first axis. The boom is held by the holder to be rotatable around a third axis, which is the axis of the boom, and so that the boom can slide along the third axis.

Musical instrument tilter and cymbal stand

The drum stand includes a stand main body, a drum support, and an attachment that attaches the drum support to the stand main body. The drum support is composed of a first arm and two second arms that open and close with respect to the first arm. The first and second arms all extend obliquely and linearly from near the upper end of a post toward a bottom surface of a snare drum.

Drum stand

A spiked leg includes a first leg part and a second leg part, which are leg members, and a stopper fixed to a distal end of the second leg part. The stopper includes a stopper main body, a spike holder, and a spike. In the stopper main body, a part of the stopper main body is located between a first longitudinal hole and a second longitudinal hole. Due to this, the proximal end of the spike is arranged apart from a distal end of the second leg part when the second leg part and the spike are assembled onto the stopper.

Spiked leg, musical instrument, and musical instrument stand

A tom-tom supporting device includes a bracket, a first arm having a plurality of first supporting portions for supporting an upper hoop, and a second arm having a second supporting portion for supporting a lower hoop. Two of the first supporting portions provided at ends of the first arm are each located near one of two intersection points at which a diameter of a batter head, which is perpendicular to a vertical plane containing an axis of a shell and an axis of the second arm, intersects the upper hoop.

Drum supporting device and drum

A drum coupling system is configured as a coupling system for coupling various marching drums such as a snare drum, a tenor drum, and a bass drum to marching carriers and drum stands for the various marching drums, respectively. In the drum coupling system, a coupling structure for the various marching drums to the respective marching carriers and a coupling structure for the various marching drums to the respective drum stands are the same.

Drum coupling system

A strainer includes a strainer body, a slider to which a cam follower is fixed, a holder to which snare wires are fixed, an operating lever, and a cam that is pivoted through operation of the operating lever. The slider is slid relative to the strainer body by pivoting the cam through operation of the operating lever so that the cam follower moves along the cam surface. The movement distance of the slider linearly changes with respect to an operation angle of the operating lever.

Strainer and snare drum

A snare drum includes a strainer system which switches the position of a snare wire between an OFF position spaced from a lower drumhead and an ON position in contact with the lower drumhead. The strainer system includes a frame to which the snare wire is attached, and a pair of link mechanisms which are joined to the respective end portions of the frame and attach the respective end portions of the frame to a shell of the snare drum. After switching the position of the snare wire to the ON position, the position of the snare wire with respect to the lower drumhead is adjusted by operating an adjust screw of the second link mechanism.

A cymbal holder includes a holder body having an insertion hole, first and second engagement members, and first and second compression coil springs. The first and second engagement members are urged by the first and second compression coil springs such that first and second nut portions approach each other to be engaged with a bolt. When first and second button portions are pressed against the urging force of the first and second compression coil springs, the first and second nut portions are disengaged from the bolt.

Cymbal holder and cymbal stand

A marching carrier includes rods for supporting a musical instrument, a carrier main body to be in contact with a front face of a trunk of a player, a frame put on both shoulders of the player, a pair of shoulder cushions pivotably attached to the frame, and a back cushion pivotably attached to the frame. In the marching carrier, angles of the shoulder cushions and the back cushion to the frame can be adjusted separately.
