A ferrite sheet includes a ferrite sintered body capable of being in direct and sufficiently close contact with a signal cable and has good noise removal properties. The ferrite sheet includes a flexible sheet having a foldable portion, a plurality of ferrite sintered bodies located in a region other than the foldable portion on the flexible sheet, an elastic body arranged around the ferrite sintered bodies on the flexible sheet, and an adhesive layer arranged on the elastic body such that the elastic body is bonded to itself when the flexible sheet is bent along the foldable portion.

Ferrite sheet

A method for easily sintering a magnetic core while preventing damage to the magnetic core caused by deformation or other problems, includes preparing a flattened tubular compact by forming the compact to have a flattened tubular shape and a through hole. A supporting plate made from a baked porcelain material or a metal material having a dimension that allows for insertion into the through hole of the flattened tubular compact, as well as a length that is sufficiently longer than that of the flattened tubular compact, is inserted through the through hole. The flattened tubular compact is placed inside of a sintering container having highly pure alumina powder spread therein so that the axial direction of the compact is horizontal. The flattened tubular compact is then sintered in a sintering furnace to produce the magnetic core.

Method for sintering magnetic core

An inductor includes input-output terminal electrodes, a coil conductor connected between the input-output terminal electrodes, and dividing grooves arranged to extend outwardly of the coil conductor from the end portions of the coil conductor over the terminal electrodes so as to be substantially perpendicular to the winding direction of the spiral coil conductor.

Inductor

Three thin-film coils having insulating layers therebetween are laminated on the coil winding portion of the core member. A terminal electrode is electrically connected to the end portion of the third thin-film coil. A terminal electrode is electrically connected to the end portion of the first thin-film coil through the lead-out opening portions and separated areas. In this way, the thin-film coils are electrically connected in series between the terminal electrodes. Then, in the thin-film coils, the winding directions of the neighboring coils having an insulating layer therebetween are opposite to each other.

Multilayer inductor

A small-sized multilayer inductor having a greatly increased inductance value includes two thin-film coils with an insulation layer interposed therebetween, the coils being disposed on a coil-winding portion of a wound-core member. At positions opposing flanges of the wound-core member, two terminal electrodes for a first thin-film coil are respectively provided. To one of the two terminal electrodes, the starting end of the first thin-film coil is electrically connected via one connection opening while the finishing end of the first thin-film coil is electrically connected to the other terminal electrode via the other connection opening. Similarly, at positions opposing the flanges of the wound-core member, two terminal electrodes, which are electrically connected to a second thin-film coil, are respectively provided.

An LC component includes a coil conductor spirally wound around the outer peripheral surface of a wound core member having a substantially rectangular cross-section. A dielectric layer is arranged so as to cover the coil conductor. A capacitor electrode is provided on the dielectric layer so as to wind approximately once around the wound core member in the peripheral direction of the wound core member. The capacitor electrode includes first, second, third, and fourth surfaces. The capacitor electrode is divided by two cut grooves. One cut groove crosses the capacitor electrode obliquely from one side of the first surface of the capacitor electrode to the other side of the second surface adjacent to the first surface. Similarly, the other cut groove crosses the capacitor electrode obliquely from one side of the third surface of the capacitor electrode to the other side of the fourth surface adjacent to the third surface.

A wire-wound inductor includes a substantially square-flanged core member and a case core member. The substantially square-flanged core member includes an upper substantially square flange and a lower substantially square flange. The substantially square-flanged core member, around which a coil is wound, is inserted into the case core member, and the upper flange of the substantially square-flanged core member is fitted in an opening of the case core member. A planar corner abutment surface is provided at each of the four corners of the inner surface of the substantially square opening, and the corners of the upper flange abut the respective planar corner abutment surfaces.

Wire wound inductor

A coil component includes a conductor film provided on the surface of a core having flanges. On one flange, first and second dividing grooves and a connecting groove are provided, whereby first and second terminals are defined. On the other flange, third and fifth dividing grooves and a connecting groove are provided, whereby third and fourth terminals are defined. First and second winding-around grooves are connected to the respective dividing grooves and arranged substantially parallel to each other. A coil connected to the first and third terminals and a coil connected to the second and fourth terminals are also provided.

Coil component

An electromagnetic noise absorber has a pair of ferrite cores arranged with open ends of the ferrite cores facing each other. Each of the ferrite cores includes an axial portion, an outer cylindrical portion and a bottom portion and is constructed by coupling an end of the axial portion and an end of the outer cylindrical portion to the bottom portion. A slot is formed in the outer cylindrical portion and the bottom portion of each ferrite core such that the slot extends from the open end of the outer cylindrical portion to the bottom portion. The electromagnetic noise absorber can be easily attached to a signal line by placing the signal line in the slots and turning one of the ferrite cores. Since the signal line are wound around the axial portion of the ferrite cores, the signal line has a high impedance.

Electromagnetic noise absorber

A transformer contains a multi-layered coil block which is formed by laminating and sintering sheets having conduction patterns. External electrodes which are connected to the conduction patterns are formed at the edges of the multi-layered coil block. A hole is made at the center of the multi-layered coil block, and a core is inserted into the hole. For the sheet material, a ceramic material containing glass is used. For the ceramic material, for example, an alumina ceramic material or dielectric ceramic material is used. Also, for the glass, for example, lead glass, borosilicate zinc glass, or borosilicate lead glass is used.
