A presser foot device comprises a presser foot shank �2! which has clamp member through holes �2d! for guiding clamp members in moving forward and backward formed at the lower portion thereof and a groove for receiving the hinge pin �3b! of a presser foot plate �3! formed on the lower surface of the front side thereof and a groove �2a! for receiving the hinge pin �3b! of a presser foot plate �3! therein formed on the lower surface of the front side thereof, and which is detachably attached to a presser bar �5,! an elastic �9! member which is fixed to the rear portion of the presser foot shank �2! at one end portion thereof, and the clamp members �7! each having a hook portion �7a! for retaining the hinge pin �3b! of the presser foot plate �3! at the tip end portion thereof, wherein the hinge pin �3b! of the presser foot plate �3! is elastically clamped by the hook portions �7a! of the clamp members �7! and the rear wall �2c! of the groove �2a!. As a result, it is possible to provide a presser foot device simple in structure, superior in reliability with regard to the essential function of a presser foot plate, and superior in durability.

Presser foot device for sewing machine

A feeding device of a wide sewing material comprises a first belt conveyer unit provided on a supporting member vertically driven by a first elevating unit, a first base plate vertically driven by a second elevating unit provided on the supporting member, a horizontally driving unit for horizontally driving a second base plate and a second belt conveyer unit which is supported by the second base plate and is arranged on the side of the edge portion to be sewn of the wide sewing material in parallel therewith and which is driven to rotate by a rotary device. Since the feeding device can secure a large space from the edge portion by retracting the second belt conveyer units, next operation can be performed with ease. As a result, it is possible to perform the feeding and sewing of a wide sewing material, which is difficult to work at the edge portion thereof automatically, with accuracy and efficiency.

Feeding device of a wide sewing material

A drawing device for towel cloth for successively drawing out and cutting off a towel material of long size as long as a sheet of towel from the rest of the towel material at the plain woven portion thereof, the towel material of long size having plain woven portions and pile fabric portions alternately and continuously arranged at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction thereof. The drawing device comprises a feed roller disposed perpendicular to the drawing direction of the towel cloth on the drawing side thereof relative to the cutting unit and capable of feeding back the cut end portion of the cut towel cloth on the drawing side to the side of the towel material relative to the cutting unit and a thickness detector disposed in the same way as the feed roller orthogonally to the drawing direction of the towel cloth having an aperture-adjustable slit for stopping the pile fabric portion of the fed back towel cloth thereby. The length of the cut plain woven portion which is positioned adjacent to the cutting unit on the drawing side can be constant even if the dimensions of the plain woven portions of the towel material are varied. Moreover, it is simple in construction and can be manufactured with ease.
